Clay Imports is great! We had approximately 950 sq. ft of wood look tile installed by Clay Imports and are extremely happy with the install job. We had already found the tile we wanted at another local flooring warehouse that doesn’t have on staff installers, so we were having a hard time even getting install contractors to call us back for quotes. A friend recommended Zac Barreiro at Clay Imports based on work a neighbor had done. Zac was easy to get ahold of and responsive. Communication is huge and it doesn’t seem to matter to most others in the install business. The quote was fair given the clear expertise and experience they have resulting in high-​quality work. We opted to do the carpet tear out and major floor prep ourselves. Zac had good suggestions and came out to give us a free quote. The install crew showed up when they said they would and completed the large job in about 3.5 days, over a day sooner than we expected. They kept everything clean and were friendly while here. The look and final outcome is phenomenal. I’ve already referred him to a colleague that was looking for some tile backsplash work.

I can’t tell you enough how great Clay Imports is! I started coming to the store 2 years ago for a new home build. I worked with Nick, who is fantastic, but the entire staff is always friendly and attentive. Their showroom is wonderful and they always invite you to look in the back for tiles not out front. They carry such a variety that I was able to use their tiles in my entire house. They always fulfilled the orders on time, when promised, which is huge in a new home build. I still show up to get tiles for new projects and it is great to see how much their showroom has grown. I will be a lifelong customer of Clay Imports. Go see them if you are looking for quality products and even better service!

Magnificent work! Zac did a complete remodeling of my bathroom. I imagined a welcoming, dream bathroom with a Mediterranean feel. Zac was very patient and helped me come up with the perfect design. My bathroom is beautiful with a very tasteful, lovely combination of tiles. Zac coordinated all the contracting and guided me to high quality cabinet and countertop specialists. He helped me know when to make decisions and gave expert advice. Zac’s crew did beautiful work as if my home was theirs. I really appreciate their expertise and commitment to excellence. Their tile is beautiful and carefully installed. I am thrilled and plan more home improvements with Clay Imports in the future. It was a pleasure working with Clay Imports! I love going into their shop so much — everyone is so helpful and their displays are intoxicating. I never want to leave.

These folks are great. I needed specific tile for a rush repair job and checked their site gallery. I called and they had what I thought I needed in stock. Arrived to pick it up and showed them some pics and they immediately spotted that what I needed is not what I thought I needed. Got me the correct tiles, gave me tips on how to darken slightly if needed (did not, was a perfect match) and we’re super helpful and friendly. I didn’t get to look around much (because of being in a hurry and they were very efficient), but definitely some cool looking tile in the showroom. Highly recommend and I’ll be back next time I’m looking for this kind of specialty tile.

This place was awesome. I live in Houston and was looking for authentic Mexican/​Talavera tile. They were very helpful and informative and tried to help me find the right tile for my project while keeping my budget in mind. The tile I selected wasn’t in stock; however they offered to deliver it to Houston at no charge!!! I mean HAND delivered! More than I could’ve expected. They really care about their customers. I will definately go back!!!

These guys are awesome. They specialize in imported stone and tile from Mexico (which they source themselves). They have a big warehouse with most talavera designs in stock and all their merchandise is top quality, especially compared to Home Depot’s saltillo.
