Best service all over planet Earth. The food was like the service. This foodtruck is placed in one of my favorite spots in this area. There’s always place to park, you can seat outside or you can eat at the Radio Coffee And have a beer with your meal. I strongly recomment it, just delicious and original.

I went to Radio for Veracruz, but I gave this place a try instead, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the vegan curry, and my son had the yassa. We both loved our food, and the price was great. The service was also great. The guy let us sample various dishes since we had never eaten African food before. To top it off, it was movie night at Radio. Great food, price, service and location… all the stars! I will definitely go again!

It was a nice surprise to see Cazamance at Radio!(last time I was here I ordered from the taco truck and it took almost an hour to bring out 2 tacos). I ordered the vegetable curry $ 6 and a pork dish $ 9 and it was out in 5 minutes and it was delicious! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is no longer in business. I just drove there to learn it’s been out of business for over 5 months. Wish I could have gone so I am only rating it a 1 because it doesn’t exist!

Cazamance now boasts an extremely inviting space. There is so much open air that it feels like you are eating in a ghost town. Across the entire property, there are about 4 different seating areas. This quality could be nice for a large party, dining on African grub. For the most part, I very much appreciated the small portions and small prices, along with the limited menu. They know what people like, in terms of this specific type of grub, and they are holding themselves to such standards – see Bunny Chow, salads, and rice bowls. Unfortunately, the salads are just not economical in the least. My fruit salad, though boasting a fantastic balsamic(most definitely made in-house), was just plain small. 4 slices of strawberry, roughly 4 full grapes, and a few carrot strands adorned a plate of spinach. For $ 7, this dish left me a little wanton. This was made up for by the $ 7 rice bowl. I ordered the peanut stew, and boy, was I set right for the rest of the afternoon. One critique is that because I much prefer my food piping hot, the lukewarm temperature was a little off-turning. Nonetheless, the chickpeas, potatoes, and creamy peanut-laden goodness sat well. And tasted as such. The man running the«kitchen»(?) cranks out his hand-crafted offerings with utmost care, and there is quality overflowing. Definitely give this joint a shot if you are at all interested in African cuisine.

Suffice it to say, Iba of Cazamance Café is MAGIC!!! Iba catered our Fundraiser event that we held at the CTC Garden last night and he blew all 60 people who were at the event away!!! His food was sooo blessed, with light and positive energy and LOVE. I sing his praises to everyone;) Iba and Emyra provided such an amazing service last night… beautiful aesthetics, attentive top-notch service, and cared for everyone with love. It can’t be topped. Wow.

I just hosted a celebratory dinner for a friend here, and the experience could not have been better. It was a rainy night, but Iba was cheerful, the space was beautiful, and the food was incredible. What a wonderful evening! I would definitely do it again.

Hard to find, worth the effort. I had just the lamb stew. Lots of interesting spices. The atmosphere was relaxing — I was the only one in the court yard, it was quiet and charming. Certainly worth coming back to try again.

Lamb stew was incredible!!! This was my first of many stops on my bike tour of east Austin. Also my first time being in east Austin on purpose. And then this jewel of a rustic decorative restaurant was pushed in front of me. Thank GOD for ethnic cooking. Definitely worth the trip to east sixth for the REAL taste of Cmance. That is all.

This trailer is a true gem, and it has, hands-down, the best African food in town. First of all, the dining space at the CTC Garden is lovely. I felt transported to West Africa, with the open seating under a metal roof. The chef is friendly and serves food quickly. I tried the lamb stew — hearty yet fresh. I didn’t feel heavy afterwards, just full and satisfied. I’ve heard the brisket is great — I’ll try it next time. The menu changes depending on availability, and it’s only open from 11 – 3. It’s worth a special stop, though. You cannot get a better taste of West Africa in Austin.

I want to love this place, really I do but, sadly I know what real West African food is supposed to taste like and well this the gringo version at best. I love the garden and the owner is super nice, hence the extra star but the food, eh.

Despite the hard-to-find location, this place is well worth the dig. When entering into this dreamy and open space, it reminded me vaguely of Casa de Luz. There were open seats and hidden nooks, succulent plants, herbs, and statues. Overall the space feels dreamy and relaxing compared to the street view. The food took the place above and beyond my hopes. Everyone seemed super stoked about all the fancy meats. I’m a vegetarian and was curious if there’d be anything for me on the menu. There always seems to be a raw, vegan, or vegetarian option. One of the dishes that lingers on my tongue was this«shot» styled carrot ginger gazpacho that was better than any gazpacho(let alone a carrot ginger soup) I’ve ever had. I swished the«shot» down and bit on a mint leaf. What excites me so much is that the chef creates the menus and strives for local and organic produce. The menus change and get more exciting every time i go. The price is not ridiculous(between $ 3-$ 10) and the food is worth every penny. They only accept cash, but an ATM is provided on premise. I highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner, and I hope that when you visit, you enjoy its uniqueness too.

So happy I got to get a preview of this last night! Everything I tasted was so good. Particularly the caveman salad: full of herbs, crisp jicima and fennel. The owner, Iba, is a gracious host, and his smoked pork was mouthwatering. I’m only sorry I missed trying the goat! Definitely visit here for a relaxing evening soon!

Co-owner Iba Thiam was super-nice and accommodating to all the Unilocalers at the Global Fusion event last night. We got to try small portions of a wide variety of West African foods, and it was all fantastic. Checking out the regular menu now( ), I can’t wait to go back and sample the regular offerings.
