I was under the care of Dr. Castillo for approximately one year, ending two or so months ago. He is a caring person with an equally caring staff. He administered my initial chemotherapy treatment. I continued under his care following my abdominal surgery, with biweekly if not weekly visits. That said, Dr. Castillo then failed to detect the resurgence of my esophageal cancer on a timely basis notwithstanding the readily available evidence, including significant weight loss. He did not schedule any scans when he should have, by his own admission. take care

Dr. Castillo and staff at Texas Oncology are fantastic. Dr. Castillo is incredible in his ability to be both technically brilliant and knowledgeable while also authentically compassionate and patient. Highly recommend.

I LOVE this oncologist! Have been a patient for 2 years now following up for cancer in remission. Dr. Castillo has one of the best bedside manners I’ve come across. Always warm and caring. And as a physician, knowledgeable and thorough.
