I will never again go to another salon until I leave for college. Gabby has continued to do an amazing job every single time and listens to exactly what I want. Everybody is extremely friendly, and the experience is definitely worth the price (which isn’t bad at all considering it’s upscale). I believe prices range somewhere from $ 60-​$ 80 for a shampoo, cut and style. Give the place a go — you won’t be sorry!

Gabby has consistently done an amazing job. She listens to what I want in my haircut and always exceeds my expectations. Since moving to Austin, I haven’t gone anywhere else because I love here it so much!

Hajer Cellura at Brian Charles gives me the best men’s haircut I have ever gotten. I used to live downtown and tried numerous high-​end expensive salons which were closer, only to to be disappointed compared to how well Hajer cuts my hair.
She got rid of my old man hair cut and it looks professional yet stylish.

After moving from Houston and driving there every 6 weeks to get my hair done for over a year I decided I needed an new salon at «home». I’ve had several bad highlights and I was so scared to try someone new, blondes can definitely be hard to make happy with color. Faith was referred to me and I was scared to death, palms sweating, watching her every move. Over a year later, I’m so happy I made this switch! Faith is amazing and knows how to make a blonde happy! It’s comforting knowing I can go in, sit down and not worry about how my color is going to turn out.
The salon is great! Such friendly staff, they offer wine also! :-)

I love going here. My stylist (Jennifer) gives me honest feedback when I come in with an idea that doesn’t fit my lifestyle. My hair always looks great, the vibe is relaxed and fun and it’s a great location for those of us living out in Four Points area.

I cannot say enough good things about Ric, Jon, and the crew at Brian Charles. I think enough of them that I trusted them for my engagement photos, wedding day, and entire wedding party as well as the semi-​regular hair appointments I have had for the past 5 years with Ric (even before he opened this Salon. I would have said regular but I don’t always keep my hair the way I should but Ric never complains, just fixes it and makes me feel great). If you want to be understood, pampered, treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect (plus look great), this is the salon for you.

Jennifer is amazing and I’m so happy I finally found a stylist in Austin. My haircuts are perfect and she doesn’t just do exactly what I say I want, she makes sure that it’s a cut that will work for the kind of hair I have and the way I like to style it. She just understands hair and it’s obvious that she’s in the right business. Can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve had on my bangs since she cut them. If you’re looking for someone who can give you advice on your hair and then deliver a haircut that fits your needs and makes you feel great, then Jenn is your girl.

If you’re looking for a stylist who really understands your relationship to your hair… the fears, fights, battles, moments of infatuation and diva-ness…then you need to see Jen Johnson. She is an intuitive master at bringing out the best you. (I love it when people use that phrase, so I’m using it). If you’ve been walking around as a mediocre you, then you definitely need to book with Jen. I have curly hair, which can either knock people’s socks off OR look like an enormous brillo pad. I’ve had stylists in the past who sent me out with the brillo look and others who swore they understood curls and I ended up with what could be identified as a curly-​haired mullet. Jen brought out those curls that have been waiting to make their splash for years! She looks at the whole picture/​package and approaches hair much like a master artist. …complete with its own theme music.
If you want a stylist that you can lock down for years to come, stop looking around and ask for lovely, amazing Jen Johnson. She’s not only talented and has done hair for years, but she’s good people too. Pretty sure I could walk the red carpet after seeing Jen. :) LOVE! :)

Mandy colors my hair. She’s been coloring it for 7 – 8 years. She’s such a professional and fantastically talented. My hair always looks amazing after she does it. I get so many compliments! Never once have I been dissatisfied. I actually drive 30 minutes to go to her. It’s a bit of a haul, but she’s worth it. Her friendly and personable style make you feel at ease while she makes your hair look even better! She’s wonderful!

Just got the best hair cut and color. They had a mess to work with this correct after a bad color at Bella Salon. They took orange hair neutralized color to a gorgeous blonde and have me a stunning Hollywood hair cut. Those of you that know me as a brunette know my signature hair and now I am a wonderful blonde version. They will have my business forever. Love you guys. This place is crazy overexpensive. I think they do a good job, but they are really going over the line in prices. Coming from New York, I am used to very similar work for more adecuate prices. $ 80 (including tip for a color — that is out of control!
Now, the environment is not confortable, starting from the chairs. Nice yes but very fake. I had a magazine — which I had to ask for because there is none outside. They brought it. I steped to the restroom, came back; the magazine gone, my water gone, my purse moved to the side…
So personally, I prefer a more confortable place with more reasonable prices, more real people…
No more!

Horrible service.
I went for eyebrow threading 2 days ago. The lady did the worst threading I ever had in last 15 years. She caught my eyelashes just after starting. Then started using tweezer. When both ways failed, then she offered to do waxing. After finishing waxing, my skin started burning and became red. I thought that it’s just temporary but the redness didn’t go away for 2 days and then developed a scab. That is when I realized that she caused superficial abrasions around my eyebrows.
I have been literally applying make up on the scabs to hide them because they look so ugly. I hope they don’t leave a permanent scar.
And the prices are triple as compared to what I have been paying at other places. This was the first time I tried this place because I didn’t have time to go out of steiner ranch but I regret my decision.
Would never go to this place again for any kind of service.

Awesome Salon!
I recently moved here from Florida and selected this salon– not knowing what to expect, feeling anxious, etc. I am so pleasantly surprised by my overall experience. The atmosphere is both delightful and customer service centric. I’m so excited about this place, I almost didn’t want to write a review for fear that I’ll never get an appointment once word gets out about how awesome these stylists are. My dream team: Hayat (eybrow artist), Kaylee (color genius), Gabby (mane taming magician).
Amazing. Love. So Happy.

Excellent salon. Very professional, chic and friendly. I receive compliments frequently since switching to this salon. Highly recommend.

1ST TIME IN A LONG TIME THAT I’VE BEEN COMPLIMENTED BY MULTIPLE PEOPLE ON MY HAIRCUT
New salon opened a few months ago in a new strip center at the entrance to our neighborhood (Steiner Ranch). The atmosphere is energetic and full of light and nice smells. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Gabriella gives me the best haircut that I’ve ever had and is a delightful person to talk to as well. The value for the price is excellent. The owners were extremely generous contributing to a fundraiser for my daughter’s junior high school Accepting Differences Club event.

A week later and I’m still SO excited and in love with my hair. Faith killed it with my ombré and Jen gave me the best haircut of my life. This was my first time at Brian Charles and I felt so welcome and comfortable! Everyone is so nice and I felt like all of my requests were heard and expectations met. Can’t beat that, right? Thank you Faith and Jen!

Hajer is fantastic! I followed her when she left her old salon to come to Brian Charles. Hajer has a great personality, cuts with precision, and is very good at knowing what will look good on your face shape and work with the type of hair you have. She also does the best blowouts.
The salon itself is great – the inside is very chill and clean. Unlike my old salon, this salon does not feel like a hair factory.
My one complaint is that I am not in love with the products they sell, nor their steep price tag.
Elizabeth at the front desk is sweet and remembers personal details from visit to visit.

I love love love this salon!!! I look and feel like a million bucks! Gabby was super sweet and did an incredible job.
I have been consistently hard to please when it comes to salons and hard to say for a while now if I’ve ever used one twice. But for this look and feel of the cleanliness, staff, products, and easy close location… I will most definitely be back!
