When I’m too lazy to walk the extra couple blocks to CVS, this is my go-to for quick junk-food adventures(… the BEST kind of adventures). The pricing is a little higher than CVS(which is also a little higher than HEB), so I try not to stop in here too often. When I do, I make sure to grab some Now & Laters(since no one else in Austin can be bothered to carry these delicious, elusive diabetes-inducing confections). Unless you’re looking for something weirdly specific, you should find the selection pretty fair by convenience store standards. They also have a nice assortment of general household and grocery goods(at a markup, of course) for the desperate college student who forgot to buy toilet paper before move-in day and thinks the $ 5 box of Hamburger Helper will make a great dinner on Mom & Dad’s dime. The guys who work here in the evenings are really chill and don’t hound you like other bodega owners and workers tend to.(I’m not going to steal your overpriced sodas or Gansitos, I swear.) They also have bags(with handles) if you need them.
