These guys and gals are great! They have good prices and will usually offer a better deal on buying back textbooks than the Northridge Campus bookstore. The staff are very helpful, and I was particularly pleased with the way they handled the snafu of being unable to return my books to the store after having ordered them online. Just some hijinks with the
website, but they took it in stride and sorted it all out.

Terrible service at this location. I called to ask how much they would accept for a certain book (just a price range since I know that they would have to look at the condition of the book, which was great, no highlighting/​writing) and the lady would not tell me over the phone. She told me that I needed to come in store to get a price and when I got there, they closed right at 4 and would not help me. Not recommending this store to anyone.

I had been out of the whole school routine for quite some time and had a great experience at Bevo’s on Metric. They not only helped me find my books fast, but also informed me of the benefits of renting vs buying which saved me big bucks on an already tight budget. The staff was friendly, informative and helpful. They sent a reminder when my books were due and even a 20% off coupon for this semesters rentals!

Textbook buying/​selling is a racket. Renting them has taken the sting out of it a bit, but still a major pain. Thankfully, Bevo’s NR helps me out. Nick is the man to see if you go there. He is friendly and oh-​so helpful. He looked up the books I needed, explained the rental vs buying thing, and even gave me a decent offer for my old Psych. book. I was out of there in a flash with what I needed. The other employees have always been helpful, but Nick should get a raise or something. Way to go!
