Better Hearing Center of Austin

Better Hearing Center of Austin is one of the most professional offices I have been to. I’ve been known to have ear wax build up in the past and I decided to find a place to get it professionally looked at. I heard Better Hearing is a great place and also ear cleaning is free! To schedule an appointment, you just go online and enter your contact information. They respond rather quickly.
Dr. Saleem is an excellent health care provider. He’s very professional and explains every procedure to you before he does it. He took a look at my ears with a high-​end otoscope that takes pictures so I could see what’s going on in my ear. Apparently my ears didn’t need to be cleaned as I used Debrox to break it down about 2 months ago. I asked him about the dangers of Q-​tips use. He gave me a thorough explanation of how Q-​tips are not dangerous if used CORRECTLY and he gave me recommendations of how often to clean my ears with Q-​tips and Debrox. (He even pulled out a model ear and shown me a demonstration of how to clean the ear!) He’s one of the nicest providers I have been to and is very thorough in his check-​ups. I would definitely return in a few months if I need to get my ears professionally cleaned or if I have any other issues.
Tip: This location is located inside the same office as the Northwest Hills Eye Care. You walk right in their office and it’s in the back.
