Austin Karate Academy

We sent our son to this Academy for several years, starting at about age 6. He was having behavioral, social and self-​esteem issues. The academy’s main instructor, Mr. Mukherjee, took a profound interest in our son’s story and issues. While our son worked his way up through the various belts, all of the instructors pushed and guided him along carefully, being firm but fair. My son got to green belt and decided he wanted to focus on baseball. But by this time he had developed great confidence, strong interpersonal skills and also had very strong core strength. Now he’s a great athlete who always strives to do the right thing by himself and others. I have no doubt that this karate school had a huge impact on his formative years and am very grateful to the team here. Don’t hesitate to take your kids here.
