If an antique/thrift/handmade store had a baby with a texas specialty store, this is what you’d get. THIS is where I’m going to bring every visitor. If only I had more time to browse the day I popped in. This place is packed with goodies! You can’t really tell what a gem it is from the outside… but do not pass it up.

I love getting unique gifts for family, friends and myself. This is my number one location for music, memorabilia, local crafts and Austin items. A BIG shout out to Sydney and Johnny letting me in at the end of the day to purchase a Keep Austin Weird shirt for my niece in Memphis, Tennessee. Thank you!

This place is amazing! I was wanting somewhere to find unique gifts and this place was exactly what I was looking for. I will most certainly be back to do my Christmas shopping. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is pleasant!

A true gift store. This is a place that anyone traveling though ATX should stop by. You can get a variety of Texas souvenirs, nostalgic treats(candy, soda, gum), vintage records, vintage comic books, mugs, clothing, hand made jewelry, bath and body products as well. Kind of like you name it they probably got it. The store is huge and some small businesses(those who make their own arts and crafts type products) have little areas in the store where their items are sold. I visit this place on a regular just to get little things here and there. It is a ATX must have establishment.

This is the best gift shop in Austin, Moderate price, and great, great stocks, You need at least one hour to explore their stocks. True Texas culture with an Austin blend. I also suggest my friends who comes out of Austin to visit this shop to get some souvenir.

I walked in, not sure what to expect … being located next to a Dollar General Store, I had the Ye Olde Expectation Meter set really low. Also, I’m not much of a nit-nack kinda guy. But in I go and wow, what a great store. Probably 10 aisles packed full of little«kiosks» or display areas for independent vendors/artists. Something for everyone. prices weren’t too terribly crazy, you’re supporting local businesses, and the staff behind the counter very friendly.

This shop has everything Texas and tons of the Fred line. I actually was so overwhelmed that I didn’t buy anything. Since it is all local, it is rather expensive. I loved the locally made coasters and ornaments — there was more than one artist so you can pick from modern to kitschy. They also sell candy, soap, magnets, UT products, Cowboys stuff, etcetera. There’s also a giant bull, which might or might not be real and stuffed.

I can’t believe I’ve driven by here so often and just had no idea what it was. My friend suggested I stop here to buy some gifts from some people overseas. Didn’t expect to find what i did! As everyone has mentioned, it’s stalls of local vendors selling handmade items, vintage items, food items, all kinds of things. The owner gets applications and hand selects every vendor in the space. They also have things that you can get that is typical Austin like Keep Austin Weird shirts and board games, and Longhorn candy(by Lummes) and some kitchy fun items that you would find at Spencer’s or something like that. It’s great fun to walk around and next to Target! I walked away not buying anything but will definitely be back to check things out.

Quirky, eclectic, fun. I passed by this place for years without checking out what was inside because it looks like a souvenir shop, but it is actually more like an arts & crafts co-op market. Great place to look for unique gifts, many items are made by locals. About 25% are Texas/Austin themed. Pricing is reasonable, I bought a beautiful necklace here made of stone beads that would easily retail for 2x more elsewhere.

I absolutely adore this gift shop! It has so many options and vendors from all over Texas, Austin and the hill country in particular. I love the vast variety of items that this shop sells, so many local vendors who make amazing homemade products! From jewelry, to wine and everything in between, this little shop is quite large with so many amazing choices. I bought all exquisite gifts for my family this Christmas and also got some rad bonuses for myself. Love, love, love this shop! Do yourself a favor and stop by to check out the interesting things this store has to offer.

I stopped in here today with a friend on whim. She told me that she loves this store and it was a great place to find different local artist gifts for a decent price. Boy was she right! The store is set up with aisles of different booths. One of the employees said that they frequently change out the booths and vendors, so you can literally come back next month and it is almost like a new store. I see where this is good and bad, but it seems to be working for them. They had everything from special nick-naks, jewelry, candles, different artsy stuff for you walls and much much more! This is definitely the perfect place to come look for a special gift for anyone! I will be back I am sure.

I’ve driven past this place a million times. I finally went in and was surprised at all the cool, locally made stuff. This is THE place to go to get Austin onesies, magnets of La Zona Rosa, art, etc. I dropped a star because it’s pretty ugly on the outside and sort of cluttered on the inside. Parking is super easy and the staff is very friendly. This is 100 times better than the over-priced and hard to get to shop located at City Hall. I can’t believe I didn’t go here before.

This was a super fun shop to look through and I found it through Unilocal, yay! They have a variety of souvenirs, items, jewelry, clothing, etc. About a third of the store is dedicated to Austin souvenir stuff which was really cool. I ended up buying some BBQ spice rub, an Austin T-shirt with the bats on it, a shot glass and some cute earrings from the non-souvenir section.

This is the only gift store where I have actually been able to buy GIFTS. Austin Gift Company is kind of like a small craft mall /Texas souvenir store, but a bit more refined… and just better. I think of it like a smaller and more predictable version of Austin’s artisan fair scene(think Pecan Street Festival, Armadillo Bazaar, First Thursday). It’s super fun just to browse handmade crafts, decorative items, antiques, novelty snacks, and UT/A&M paraphanalia. There’s something wacky, something fun, something corny. Great place to bring out of towners, too. And you’ll find that gift you were looking for, or a goodie for yourself!

Great store! Reminds me of spending the day going through several shops like this on lower Greenville in Dallas digging for treasures! Very large store. The left side houses isles and isles of individual booths that include everything from vintage purses to homemade crafts. Scored a unique seatbelt guitar strap for only 8 bucks! The right side of the store is all about novelty. If you can imagine in — they probably have i t! Quirky cooking utensils, vintage and one-of-kind candies, UT gear, horse head masks, strictly Texas goodies, Dallas Cowboys face paint, …and on and on! You are certain to find the«gift» for the person who has everything here because I bet ya there are things at Austin Gift Company they’ve never even seen before! And, if a gift for someone else is not your mission, buy yourself something… like some draft beer flavored Jelly Beans! So Much Fun!

This was my second or third time to visit this store. It was so much fun looking at all of the Austin and Texas memorabilia and souvenirs. This is truly a great place to get a gift for a birthday, etc. My only concern about this store is the location. It is located amongst places like Target and Outback and I fear that this could take away from it’s true local ambiance. I love that there are so many different local vendors within this store. You basically have a store within a store. It is so fun shopping at all of the little booths for all things Texas and Texas sports. You could definitely buy a gift for your Longhorn, Aggie, or Bear in this store. I have never seen so much collegiate gear in a non-college store. Definitely bring out of town guests to this store so that they can get their souvenirs. I will for sure be recommending this store to many friends and family.
