After several visits, I am ready to give Austin Deep 5 stars. Good website that’s easy to use, friendly reception, a great location. And most of all, really good therapists. I have seen Khammi the last couple of appointments and she is really good. Great massage and good focus on problem areas. I highly recommend Austin Deep.

Great massage horrible business. So what would you do… I see this deep tissue massage place has great reviews where the massage therapists are concerned, so I book an appointment hoping it will help me to relieve pressure on my carpal tunnel. It was beyond painful but I believe it will indeed help. I am sure I will book at least 3 more massages and decide I should buy a few for my boyfriend as well. So, before I pay $ 650 I ask the receptionist if they have any upcoming promotions or discounts on buying multiple massages. She says she will call the owner/manager and get back to me. We decide I will wait to pay until I hear back. On Thursday they call me back and say they will give me a 10% discount on a $ 250 gift card. I don’t think that is enough, but I book another appointment for Tuesday regardless. Then, I notice they charged my cc for the full $ 250 but I would discuss that with them later. On Sunday, I receive an email from the company offering a whopping 50% off gift cards. Seriously! 50%. So I email them right away and ask if they plan to extend that discount to me since I was just there asking about promotions on gift cards. No reply. So I call them this morning and their response is unbelievable… They tell me it is a «new» promotion and NO they won’t be extending it to the gift card I just purchased. I haven’t even been back for my second appointment yet! Do they honestly believe this will breed a good reputation for them? The young woman on the phone explained it was not personal. That is all she had to say. Really? What a strange thing to say. I can’t believe a local Austin business chooses to treat a patron this way? This town is too small for word to not spread quickly. I requested the owner call me to discuss this but I have not heard from her. Needless to say, her massage therapists are the ones who will suffer from this bc the not insignificant amount of money I was about to spend with them, will go somewhere else. If you just bought a gift card from Austin Deep, I suggest you call them right away and demand you also get the 50% discount they are offering. Or take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of excellent deep tissue massage people in Austin. What a sad disappointment from a local establishment. Very sad and really bad business! The staff are not very smart where it comes to customer service and now I can see it is coming down from the owner.

I’ve been going to Austin Deep for over 6 years and they are consistently awesome. Mari always finds the spots that need the most work and adapts her routine to them. The massage rooms and waiting area are relaxing, and I’ve noticed they are always improving something! I also like that they use unscented cream rather than oil.

Parking is a hassle but worth it. Christian is an awesome therapist and I will definitely be back to see her again. I have a herniated disk and she really helped reduced the pain I came in with. One of the best massages I’ve had in a long time.

Best massage I’ve had in years. I like to feel like my muscles were really worked, and Khammi was amazing. She really focused on the areas that were bothering me(calf, hips, jaw) and actually helped me get rid of a clicking I had had in my jaw for a week. She also showed me a few ways to use a foam roller to relieve tightness in the fascia in my legs. She was very attentive to pressure, got feedback when needed, and created a very calm atmosphere. My husband had great things to say about Caitlyn, too.(Caitlyn even sent him a follow up email with some stretches to work the areas where he’s really tight.) I like to feel like a massage is more than just«feel good,» and Austin Deep definitely had me feeling like my muscles had been worked out and my body was looser. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Austin Deep highly enough. All of their therapists are well-trained and highly effective at delivering a quality deep tissue experience. Book with confidence.

I highly recommend Austin Deep! It you want a good massage and want to feel like you have actually had a massage afterwards, go here. I have been to Austin Deep, but I hadn’t been in a while. I was way overdue for a massage and I was having some back pain. I booked my appointment online and was able to get in the next day(which happened to be Mother’s Day). My therapist was named Hunter and I had not been to her before. I was amazed by how good of a job she did. If you are not into deep tissue massage, you don’t want to go here. The massage can be intense and you might be sore the next day. But, I like that type of massage for my tight muscles. Hunter was able to work out a lot of the kinks in my back. She was shocked at how tight my back was, but she was able to provide some relief as well as do some postural work on me. I am planning to go back in the next few weeks. They also gave me a Mother’s Day gift on my way out. I love this place and highly recommend it.

I had the pleasure with Hunter so if anyone knows me I’m fat. Damn fat. But not dear god fat. any way I’m greeted by my therapist who is this tiny young lady, I’m thinking she’s a student but her handshake changes my mind, she’s not very talkative. But her hands are so she doesn’t need to be. Next 75 minutes of kneading in the stiffest spots on my shoulders and legs. Non stop… how does she do it without cramping… I DONT frigging know. Will I go back hell.yes.great front desk staff super clean area and a thunder cloud next door. Ask for Hunter you won’t regret it. worth every penny.

I’ve been here three times now partly for the location convenience to my office and partly because of Mari’s amazing deep tissue massaging skills. The waiting room is minimalist and modern. It has a good, clean smell. They offer water, tea and snacks(nuts or chocolate) while waiting. Each time I have been to see Mari, she has done an excellent job. Like others have said, this place is not for the inexperienced receiver or someone wanting a relaxation massage. It’s going to hurt… in a good way. Another nice touch they have is in each room they have a set up with water to spritz and freshen your face, a towel, make up remover all to help you look put together when you leave.

Austin Deep is amazing! My boyfriend and I booked massages for our anniversary. The staff is friendly, rooms are inviting with soft beds and perfectly dim lighting. Kylee was awesome and accommodating with all requests. She made sure the pressure level was right for me. I appreciated she used a non-scented cream so I didn’t leave feeling oily and smelling like tiger balm. She even took the time to show me a few stretches afterwards to help with knots in my legs. This was my first massage, for me the pressure was not too deep. I did feel minor soreness the following day but it’s to be expected. This was not my bf’s first time, he said this massage and the past ones were like night and day. We will definitely be back, thanks Austin Deep!

«We have ways of making you talk Mr. Bond!» will be the movie line dancing through your head as you hit the table. If you want a real massage, and not some lame back rub, this is without a doubt, the best place to go. Schedule your appointment today!

Everything about«Austin Deep» is truly 5 stars! Friendly relaxed space that’s spotless and inviting. I’ve had massages from 3 different therapists. Every one of them was perfectly done. Sarah healed my chronic neck pain, she gets my recommendation! I don’t think they charge enough considering an oil change now costs $ 100.

My wife and I both love this place. My wife always gets Maria to do her massages. This time Julie worked on me. Both therapists are very personable and get to know their clients. Yes this is DEEP tissue massage but if its uncomfortable at the moment the pay off is great. I am always real relaxed and feel great after. The only thing I can say is THANKS. Never felt better!

Highly recommend, especially if you have soreness related to athletic activity. As I’ve increased the number of miles I run, Austin Deep has been a valuable resource in helping me reach my distance goals. All of the therapists are very well trained and highly professional.

This place is awesome. Do not dare go unless you have experience with deep tissue massage or have been told by a physical therapist this will help. Deep means deep. I have been three times. The knots in my neck are awful. I travel a lot for work and the airplanes and hotels take a toll on me. This is the only place that makes it better. I leave feeling a little tired and within 48 hours I’m 100% again.

I found Austin DEEP after running my first marathon this past Sunday in San Antonio. It was a brutal race with high heat and a strong headwind, so my legs were suffering. My quads were shredded and my IT band was super tight causing knee pain as well. My husband ran the same race, so I booked us both 30 minute massages. Sara and Cyle really helped us recover and we are almost 100% just 3 days after the race! A longer massage may have helped even more. We will be adding these massages to our training routine!

I had my second massage here today. Different therapist, just as good as the first. I wish I could afford to go here daily!

My poor husband made an appointment, recommended by our trainer, six weeks ago for a massage the day after running the Austin Marathon. He first went online, but there were no openings, so he put his info in for wait list. He got a call right away and the woman(unfortunately he didn’t get her name) said there were openings so he made appointments for both him and me – hour and one-half massages. Boy were we both looking forward to that – especially him, of course, having just run a marathon. Can you spell disappointment? We went in at our appointed time and there was NO record of our appointment, made so many weeks ago. If your business model depends on making appointments, it does seem like you’d be meticulous about that. We won’t be giving them a second chance, and I would recommend you not either for fear you’ll be all ready to relax and be frustrated instead.

I absolutely LOVED the massage I got here. I was looking for DEEPDEEP tissue and that is exactly what I received. Warning: if you are looking for a gentle, relaxing massage this is not the place to go. But if you are looking to take some pain in order to loosen up serious knots and muscles tightness then I highly recommend this place. It has been two days since my massage and my muscles are still sore from all the therapeutic abuse. ;) My only complaint is that I would prefer the rooms to be a bit darker. The room I was in had white curtains and so the room was pretty well lit in the middle of the day. I feel sort of uncomfortable being semi naked with a stranger, so darkness always helps me relax. I will be back for more!

Just be aware that the name deep means something. It was too deep for me — resulting in pain I did not have when I went in and bruising. Also, before you make your appointment, check on the experience of your therapist. I want my deep therapist to have years of experience.
