She is amazing at what she does and is so sweet, she did my Solo dance outfit and I got so many compliments and that’s just the final touch I needed for my dance, absolutely the best!

Her work is good. But she previously did not open enough. She used to close at 2 pm on Saturday when most other tailors I have used close at 4 pm on Saturday. She has since changed her hours to stay open until 4 pm on Saturdays. This is critical for those of us who have to go to an office during the week with limited ability to run errands during the business week. Thanks to this change in her hours, I have upped my review to 4 stars, from a prior lower rating. I am not going all the way to 5 for now, until I have had a chance to take more advantage of the changed circumstances.

I took a bridesmaid dress to Lidia to fix alterations done by someone else. She immediately understood the issue and presented several solutions. I picked it up exactly 1 week later and all the issues were gone. She would have continued to make changes until it was exactly what I needed. On top of it all, the price was reasonable and Lidia is extremely kind. I’ll be back for sure!

Lidia warm & friendly. Did great professional job with coat sleeve alteration. Was honest and her recommendation was the right thing for curtains we had her work on. Have been to other tailors in Austin and they are either snooty or not on time with the date promised. Lidia is timely and does good work.

Lidia is absolutely the best! She altered my wedding dress (which had lots of lace) and left it absolutely perfect! It looked amazing on my wedding day.
When I was pregnant and looking for a baby shower dress, I contacted Lidia to make me a custom one because I couldn’t find anything nice. I showed her how I wanted it to look and she made it look even nicer than I had pictures it. I loved it! Everyone complemented me at the baby shower.

Spectacular service and very affordable! Lydia was so kind and accommodating. She altered my illusion wedding gown in only 8 days, a week before my destination wedding, and I only had 1 fitting! It fits like a glove — absolute perfection! For $ 200 she was able to take in the sides half an inch, sew cups into the breast, insert four bones around the waist for added support, and add a french bustle!
She also makes wedding dresses by hand! Wish I would’ve known before I bought my gown. Her work is fabulous!
In addition to wedding gowns, Lydia will also make drapes, bedding, veils, suits, etc! You name it, she can do it!
