7 Eleven

I was happy to see this 7-​Eleven built a while back. The staff is very friendly. The store is clean.
The pizza is hot, delicious, and cheap. If there’s no pizza on the oven, it only takes two minutes to cook. Then you get a freshly-​cooked hot pizza with gooey cheese for a 2-​min wait! They also have the typical 7-​Eleven meal deals for $ 5 or something. I come in the afternoon or evening and the grill with hot dogs, egg rolls, taquitos, etc… is usually empty by then.
In the hot Austin summer, I get a 96-​cent refill of my 64-​oz «Double Big Gulp» fountain drink. Sometimes, a few of the soda fountain drinks are «temporarily out-​of-​stock.»
Unlike the St. Johns @ I-​35 7-​Eleven, the Belly app on the iPad at the checkout counter here is always on.
Their gas prices look relatively cheap for Austin. (I usually get gas near my apartment; otherwise, I might consider getting gas here.)

At first I was so excited for this new 7 – 11 so close to home. I am actually a huge fan of 7 – 11. I even worked at one back in ’98. But this new one — Worse customer service ever! Not only rude but just dumb. My latest visit I bought a Big Gulp and some chips. Chips were supposed to be free with the use of the 7 – 11 App. I was paying with card but the cashier hit cash. I had no paper money so I had to rung up again. But the app is limited to one use per customer. Instead of voiding the transaction, or calling a manager to do so, the chips weren’t discounted. The clerk became rube and demanded I pay cash of I wanted the chips. Such big hassle for a bag of chips but this is not the first time this particular 7 – 11 has done this. But it is now the last time for me. Stay away from this location.

This a brand new building and a great new location! I stop here often on the way to work because they always have fresh coffee. Since this location is new it is clean, the staff is friendly and their shelves are always well stocked!
I love their Brazillian roast coffee but, it’s not for people who don’t like strong coffee. I also like the creamer machine so, that I don’t have to stand there and open a million creamers!
It’s always fast getting in and out of the store but, it can be difficult to go back on out Airport Blvd. I suggest using the back exit that takes you to the traffic light on the side street!
