I’m a home baker only because every time I stop by any patisserie or bakery, it’s never as good as mine. I always regret spending money on something that tastes like something you can get from a chain grocery store(fake cream, dry cake, overly sugary gunk and artificial coloring). Here, I bought their raspberry muffin, chocolate covered donut, and their chocolate cake with raspberry filling. What a surprise! They were delicious. I tasted no artificial flavorings. Their cream is real whipped cream, which is such a rarity. Raspberry filling was the real deal, not those overly jelly like color infused raspberry, but a true cooked down raspberry filling. And their chocolate donut is sweetened and baked using molasses. It just tastes like home. I highly recommend this place if you want to taste real food ingredients put together to make a wonderful dessert. I will return for their savory selections next. White Rabbit Bakery, if you are reading this, thank you so much for providing everyone real food options that are delicious. I will do less baking because of you! :)

really disappointed in the lack of quality — seems like something from a mom n’ pop style diner. From what I can tell the people here lack professional training in a commercial kitchen. I won’t come back after the food I had here. Aurora lacks a real restaurant and a decent coffee shop. Tauni S. waited on me — found her to be rather rude and wanted people to vote for Bernie Sanderz. I recommend making the drive into Canby for a meal.

Restaurant was cute and clean. My guess would be it’s good coffee. I did have a sandwich and it was fantastic. I will return if I find myself in this part of town.

Delicious turkey/avocado sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup! Great service with a smile! I didn’t try any baked goods so I can’t report on those. Just would like to see the floor prettier than old cement in the restaurant.

Cutest little bakery/café. Good eats and treats! Would love to come back if in the area! They have a little library that supports the community and little toys to entertain little ones. I love it!

Tried the new apple cheddar gallette this morning and it was just delicious! Get it warmed with a hazelnut breve and you’ll be in heaven. This was one of their many gluten-free treats and I didn’t miss the gluten at all.

Great sandwiches and muffins. Great place to stop while out antiquing. The Marion berry and sour cream muffins are particularly good.

Cute, tables fairly clean(you bus them), and the staff is friendly. The food??? Amazingly good, delicious. Took the family visiting and each had something different: turkey/bacon avocado, turkey/cranberry relish, veggie and Gouda cheese/tart apples/spinach/Black Forest ham, all on fresh toasted focaccia bread. Soooo good! We also had coffees and took home double chocolate walnut biscotti and homemade granola w/cranberries & walnuts

This place has probably the best gluten free baked goods I’ve ever had. Would definitely return and recommend highly. My boyfriend is not gluten free and he got a regular cinnamon roll and said they were great as well.

Came here to try and redeem Aurora, OR, for loosing Heirloom Revival Co, but it didn’t quite hit the spot. It’s a good place to get a cup of coffee and some food but none of it was impressive… The staff was friendly, and got our food out quick. It’s worth coming in if you’re in the area, but unlike Heirloom it’s not worth traveling out of your way.

This is becoming a fairly common occurrence with the rabbit; counter service that nakes you feel like you’re intruding on their day and time to serve you. My family and I just spent about $ 14 on 3 large iced coffees and bisqotti to be treated like an inconvenience isn’t much fun. I don’t think we’re coming back.

We do a coffee date every week. We try a different coffee place each week. But, sometimes we repeat a place if we really like it. We’ve done this now for a year and a half which means about 75 different places. Today White Rabbit Bakery in Aurora, OR went to the top of our list for a repeat visit! Friendly service! Delicious Marionberry muffin! Interesting breakfast sandwiches with the tastiest faccoci bread I’ve ever had! The coffee!!! Smooth and made exactly the way I like it! In 99E and easy to get to off of I-5 Exit 278. All of the baked goods are so yummy and there are good gluten free options. This coffee, breakfast and lunch bakery is definitely worth the trip! Treat yourself!

Ahhhhhh! That’s not a scream, its the sound of angels singing. They’re singing in my mouth with each bite of Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich I eat. I can’t actually sing, but this sandwich is still making beautiful music. I’m pissed they’re closed on Monday’s. ******update April 2015, they’re open Monday’s now!!! Cue Monday Angels!!!**** II found this place looking for restaurants close to my work(Canby) I hadn’t been before. Oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did! I have a few of my coworkers turned on to this place now, they all had the same reaction. I don’t think I’m gonna tell anyone else about it though, the lines will get too long. A good portion of their baked case has vegan and gluten free choices. I’ve tried one or two, I’m not a big fan of vegan/gluten free baked goods but what I’ve tried has been the best. It does take a while to get food, they don’t exactly work at a fast pace with pretty much anything, but the food is worth the wait!

This place has its heart in the right place, which is saying something in the food desert that exists between Portland and Salem. On the other hand, its hours are extremely limited. It closes at 4PM, and stops stocking a regular pot of coffee at 2PM. It also has way more gluten-free options than those with gluten. I am not gluten-free, so I would prefer more conventional options, which tend to be more affordable. Moreover, I believe they heat up their quiche(which is not bad) in the microwave. A top-notch place would never do that. I wish them luck, but they could do a little better.

The béchamel, tart apples, gouda, ham, spinach, olive oil, salt and pepper on right out of oven bread sandwich was superb, $ 7.50 and well worth it! A very friendly counter gal created an ice tea using Vanilla — from a wide selection of flavors — and it was perfect for a hot day. The remaining bakery items in the case didn’t really speak to me, but many were sold out. The Lentil soup looked good and the banana mini muffin with peach center was yummy. Seating could be more comfy, a sofa or two would be nice. Love this little town, this is a must stop. If you’re heading back to Portland be sure to cross the river using the Ferry for a different experience.

I saw the 5 stars on Unilocal and recommended to husband we stop for a «breakfast» sandwich on our way to the woodburn outlet mall. I should have read the reviews first. We enter the bakery, one person ahead of us was paying for coffees, one other person in the entire joint. A nice man quickly takes our order for turkey bacon breakfast sandwich and a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. Then he leaves to I assume make our sandwiches and I wait at the counter for the lady at the register to ring us up. I wait. And wait. She completely ignores me. Makes coffee, tidies up, never once made eye contact, and walked about 5 inches from me as she walked into the kitchen and proceeded to carry on a conversation with the staff back there. I was standing there all by myself, credit card in hand for over five minutes waiting for her to notice me. Nada. After 10 – 15 minutes of husband and I sitting in the empty restaurant, I finally get up and go find out if they had to get the eggs from the chickens at the farm next door or what, and saw a lady putting them on plates. Well by this time it’s way to freaking late for that, so I say can you please make those to go. She says sure, it takes another five minutes for her to wrap them in foil. I ask for an «amazing» cinnamon roll and a gluten free donut of some kind, they looked good in the case. $ 15 later and we finally get out of there. At this point we’re so fed up we’re hoping the food redeems this place. The«breakfast» sandwich has MAYONNAISE on it. Seriously, who does that? It has some weird egg product on it, it was NOT an egg, I swear. Then it has some kind of cold cut ham and turkey, straight out of a Hillshire Farms package from Safeway. There’s one piece of bacon and it’s fatty and disgusting. We both hate mayonnaise but we’re starving so we pick apart this sandwich and eat what we can but it’s almost inedible. We still have hope. We have a cinnamon roll and a donut left. The cinnamon roll inside is fine, nothing«amazing» about this thing though, I’ve made better at home. The outside is crunchy and has no flavor. The donut is so sweet I think I got a cavity eating it. The texture is like a whipped egg with some sweet cream in the inside. Strike THREE. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant at all for either their service or their food. Maybe the great reviews on here come from lunch? It’s certainly not from their breakfast or the majority of their slow, unfriendly staff.
