After waiting in line WITHMYDOG, I got kicked out of the store on Thanksgiving day. Every other store in that mall welcomed me and my dog and my MONEY. That’s a shame because I was ready to drop some serious coin in there.

I went in on a busy Sunday afternoon and, admittedly, the store was a madhouse. We knew what we were looking for, found it quickly, and headed to check out. I hurriedly got into line and waited patiently as a blonde-haired cashier was checking someone out in front of me. I even made eye contact and shot her a sympathetic smile because it was SO busy in there. She called out for Claudia who rushed over and asked to take the next person in line– me. As I stepped up, the blonde cashier barked at me that the line started«over there»(where I just walked from). I looked at her confused and said, «Yes…I was the first person in line.» And she kind of raised her eyebrows at me and said, «Really?» Claudia confirmed that yes, she had seen me, too and that I was indeed next in line. The blonde cashier shrugged and said, «Just making sure,» and took her next customer. I saw an «UGGlistens» business card that was asking for store feedback so I grabbed one and I asked Claudia if that woman was the manager. She confirmed so I asked for that woman’s name. As I was writing down her name, Jessica, the blonde manager, finally looked over and smiled and said, «Sorry about that.» Yeah, too little too late. I’m sorry you’re busy. I know it sucks. I hated working in retail, too. But don’t be a complete a-hole to someone who was literally just waiting in line – uh, especially when you’re the manager of the store. So rude.
