A couple weeks ago, I called in for information on a bike for my son. The staff was incredibly helpful, they set it aside, I paid for it that evening, and I picked it up the next day. My son went in for his«fitting» a couple weeks later, at which time I purchased a bike for myself. Again, super helpful staff, test rode the 2 bikes I was debating over, got all my questions answered… Great experience. Will definitely be back!

I like to do a lot of the maintenance with my bike on my own, so as far as shop time goes I have no info, but they do have a very friendly staff and good selection of different replacement parts. Went in to get a replacement tube and they put the tire sealant in for free so I could still replace it at home. All-in-all a helpful staff, and I will continue coming here for any bike-related needs.

I went in and dropped my bike off for a tune up and was told my bike would be ready the following Wednesday at 2:00PM. I called the shop the day before the due date just in case they happened to have it done early and they said that they were still on schedule for the next day at 2:00, but they would call me if it happens to be done early. I showed up the next day at the scheduled time and they stated that they were waiting for a part to tune up my bike. I stated that no one called me to inform me of this and the service manager stated that there was actually a scheduling error and the bike was scheduled to be worked on the next day and that they actually weren’t waiting on a part. I was a bit disappointed as I had the day off to go riding, but I explained to them that I understand how mistakes happen and they told me I could pick the bike up the next day. Not a problem… Until I asked to take my bike for a few hours to go riding and drop it off later that night before closing… The mechanic scheduled to work on my bike walks it out and immediately starts arguing with me saying that I shouldn’t have shown up without being called. I stated that my pick up was scheduled for that day at that time(I have paperwork to prove it) and I was told I would get a call if it’s done early. The mechanic was VERY unprofessional, rude and looked like he was about to cry when he was put on the spot. I walked out with my bike, rode Apex Trail in Golden and then stopped to Bicycle Village. They put my bike on the rack immediately and tuned up my derailers immediately and charged me only ten dollars. Thank you Bicycle Village you have a customer for life and Treads… I will never walk in your door again.

This place has awful customer service. I walked in to get my bike repaired and stood there for a while(there were multiple staffed employees, no one offered assistance). I ended up asking someone to help me. The guy made me feel like I was a bother and he was very unfriendly. I ended getting my bike repaired there any ways since I need my bike for commuting to and from work. They said my bike would be repaired in two days, it actually ended up taking over a week for them to complete a basic repair. I reached out to them about every third day, and they kept saying, «your bike will be ready tomorrow», and then again a few days would go by with no response. I would call again and was told the same«your bike will be ready tomorrow…» and again, multiple days went by with no response. My bike was finally repaired a week after they said it would be ready. The repair looked fine/good, but due to the complete lack of customer service I will never take my bike here again. It is also way over priced. Buyer/customer be ware of treads bicycle in Aurora. Go to bicycle village on Havana and parker, a way better overall experience.

A web search led me to this store all the way in Aurora since they had a mtb I was looking for. It was Saturday before noon about a month ago. There were three guys working in store. Two of them dealing with customer; one on bike fitting, another one with a customer who was just about to buy a bicycle. I don’t know what the other guys were working on. They said they will help me after the customer who was buying a bike. I waited more than 30 minutes and still no one cared. I gave up and left the store. One of the guy then came to me and said ‘Sorry, we couldn’t help you’, it wasn’t even an attempt to retain a customer. Was that a sign that he knew that they were understaffed? Or, is that a way they treat customer if they are understaffed? Total waste of my time. I came back to my neighborhood and ended up getting a good deal on a similar bike in the same afternoon.

Rude rude rude. Oh ya and overpriced! Maybe I’m just not rich enough to shop in this establishment. Your bike store belongs in another community!

My wife and I brought our new bikes from them. We also went to Bike Village which had comparable prices and perhaps more selection but the customer service at Treads was exceptional. The staff was knowledgable and allowed us to test ride the bikes on the trail behind the store. They put a new bike together for my wife and replaced the seat for free. We had coffee and tea next door while we waited. We spent a lot of money here but it was a great investment for our health and activity level. We use them weekly. We love our bikes and would return here when we upgrade!

went to five shops to get some quotes for some work on my frame. ultimately decided to settle on these guys, good pricing and quoted quick turn around time. One day later called to say they didn’t have the tool to work on my frame and that i would have to wait one week. I waited. Another call later, they got the tool but they didn’t have another tool that they thought they had and said i would have to wait one more week. It took two weeks for my frame to get worked on. i thought a bike shop would have all the tools, come on guys. Another issue, they pounded a race into my fork but it took two times when I inspected it and pointed out that the race wasnt seated correctly. Also, when they installed my bottom bracket they forgot to add the two spacers that they said they would add. If i had all the tools, I wouldn’t need these guys for anything, if only.

They’re shop work and knowledge is great! Called 4 difference bike shops in the Denver/Aurora area to ask about fixing my Rock Shoxs which seemed to have gone flat while sitting in the garrage. No one and I mean NOONE at the other shops knew what they were talking about. Everyone said, don’t bother bringing it in, you need a new bike, those can’t be rebuilt, pumped up or repaired etc. etc. Figured I’d go to Treads and buy a new Trek. 5 minutes at Treads and they pumped up my old shocks for free, checked out my bike for free to see if it needed a tune(it didn’t) and sent me on my way. Also, sales person was very helpful when looking at new bikes with me. Someone else here wrote that all they have is entry level bikes. I’m confused, I saw $ 7,000 solid carbon frame road bikes in there as well as entry level $ 400 Trek mountain bikes. Probably 100 — 200 bikes in all. Person doesn’t know what they are talking about.

Sucked. sorry but that word says so much. Walk in ready to buy for at least 1K and nobody, not one person asks if I need help. Nope. Two guys at the register mackin and one fat guy trollin around dusting. Glad I didnt get serious in this hole cause they don’t have any bikes lol. A bunch of entry level crap. Dont every buy anything serious from a store not capable of service. It’s like going to Walmart for a Rifle. REally??? lol. No, go to a gun store. Need shoes? go to a shoe store. Bike. go to a real bike store
