Shortly after Bill replaced the electric furnace in our rental house, the 30+ year old oil furnace in our own house began to decide that it was tired of working so hard and began to slow down. We were having to call out our repairman more and more, but knew that replacing the furnace was going to be a huge expense. Gigantic expense. Mega expense. We decided to get several estimates to replace it with a heat pump; in the process, we found out that not only was our furnace very tired, it would never pass inspection when we decide to sell this house. Then we got several electrical estimates for replacing our electrical panel, which was ‘way outdated and also very tired. We found out that it too, would never pass inspection. Big, big sighs were heard at our place, echoing through the forest. This was ending up to be a much bigger, and far more expensive thing than we had planned on. Aren’t they always? We decided to have Bill do the furnace work for us. We liked the work he’d done on our rental house, and his estimate was very reasonable. Throughout the very lengthy process of getting the heat pump installed, despite having to drill through a vault-sized bunch of concrete in order to get the wiring through to the house, Bill was hard-working, cheerful, and never lost his cool. He kept us informed of everything that was going on, and put in some really long days in order to get our new heat pump installed. Even when he ran into some real challenges, he took them in his stride. Exceptional customer service, knowledge of his products, reasonable prices, and doing the job right… it all adds up to another five-star review from me!
