Scheduled a refrigerator repair. Got a call in the morning asking all these questions about the refrigerator and rudely suggesting that I couldn’t tell the difference between frost and the freezer wall. Man said he’d be here in about a half hour. About an hour later, man calls YELLING at me because he couldn’t find the house. Said he’d driven up and down every damn street and the numbers were not going in order. I tried to tell him where we were, but he just kept YELLING that he’d already been up and down every street. I said forget it, I’d call someone else, and hung up the phone. Ten minutes later, he finds my house and starts knocking on the door. The name on the side of the van said Comfort Quest, and I said through the door that I was not comfortable opening the door and that I was calling someone else. My husband(who was at work) called the office and advised the office staff that I would not be opening the door for the repairman because I was home alone with my kids and felt a bit threatened. The man on the phone said we would be billed for the service call and threatened to put a lien on our house if we didn’t pay it. I can’t quite imagine how this could have gone more poorly unless I actually let the guy in to yell and scream at me and my kids.

I had a very horrible experience with these people. My dryer was not heating up and I wanted to find the issue and fix it. I called these guys and they came and fix the problem WITHOUTGIVINGANYESTIMATIONOFGETTINGANYCONFIRMATIONFROMMEWHETHERTOREPAIRORNOT and came-up with the surprising charges. I was asking why didn’t you give any estimate to that guy and the response was«you didn’t ask for». Really??? this is indirect way of hiding the charges, which is nothing but CHEATING…
