You would think that if you went to a single outlet of a huge, global chain of optical stores, the staff would be able to figure out how to make a pair of glasses that would fit as one ordered it, paid for it, and requested it and as it was measured repeatedly. I mean you’re going to get a pair of glasses at a place called LensCrafters, right? It shouldn’t be like I’m going to Bob’s Pizzeria expecting a root canal. After all, LensCrafters is a giant corporate behemoth chain, like Walmart that makes its money from providing glasses to people… And yet… Such is not the case with this depressing LensCrafters location, where you have different people every time you go to the store, and apparently no one communicates to anyone else in any kind of documented manner. Or if they do communicate, no one gives a flying hand toss one way or the other how things turn out. Why should I expect efficiency in a chain store? Beats me. We went to this location multiple times over the course of several months to order several different types of glasses. One salesperson would be very polite and respectful, then another would be terse and rude. One would be knowledgeable and the next would have no idea about anything. One salesperson would promise to deliver a certain type of service and a specific type of glasses, and then when it arrived, weeks after their due date, they’d be totally jacked-up as if a classroom of 2nd graders had made the glasses as a group activity using Elmer’s glue, paperclips and recycled frames from the nearest thrift store. We ordered several pairs of glasses at this location only to have multiple pairs botched several times, without any apology, without any desire to fix the situation, just blank stares and total antipathy, as if they were thinking«I really don’t give a donkey’s rear end whether you like this or not, or can see at all.» One pair of glasses we had ordered took almost a moth to complete, and then three times in a row, the lenses were wobbly and pasted into the frames with glue still evident! The frames were cock-eyed as if the manager had worn them to a stag party and walked off a short pier with them on. After three attempts at trying to get a pair of glasses the way we’d had enough time wasted and went to someone else. The people at this location may be wonderful mothers, sons, daughters, parents, and golly gee great people, but their business acumen and efficiency is as rotten as a week-old fish sitting in the hot sun.

This is one of those stores with quality, stylish frames but they are all manufactured by that one Italian guy that makes almost all of the name brands and charges $ 200-$ 500 for frames that could cost $ 45(see link below on 60 minute story on Luxottica). I went in a couple of times to look at frames before I was ready to buy. One girl was very helpful, 1 girl was not, and I had a semi-helpful guy help me also. My glasses turned out very nice. A month prior I bought glasses from zenni optical(online), and I think those frames were a little cheaper in quy than these Tori Birch frames, but not much for the $ 170 price difference. I also was compalitaring the anti glare from both. At first the Lens Crafter HD lenses seem better, I do think the clarity is slightly better. But the lenses from Zenni seem much easier to clean. My Zenni lenses I was able to clean like normal glasses but the ones from Lens Crafters I really had to work at it to get the streaks off. I usually had to clean them multiple times and use 2 different cloths and spray to get them clean. Almost every time when I would soon after go into the sun or under a light I would see streaks I missed. For the about $ 120 difference in lens prices I didn’t think the Lens crafter lens was worth it. And just for info from Zenni I picked the non glare and the most expensive non-smear/fingerprint/oil option. If you are looking for something specific like I was(plastic frames that did not rub my eyelashes, which is very hard for me to find) then I would buy here. Otherwise cheaper options can be just as good. )

Been going here for years and years. Worried things would be different after they changed hands a few years back. But… Same great service and new wonderful people!

The dr is privately contracted with 30+years experience. It’s nothing like going to a chop shop Walmart. they have a trusted guarantee for your contacts so if you rip or lose one when you purchase from them they’ll replace it! Extremely professional & with the latest optomap which is a machine that takes pictures of your eyes WITHOUT being dilated! I’m sold

I was recently in need of some glasses FAST so I decided to check out Lens Crafters. I was so impressed with this staff’s professionalism and knowledge. Everyone there was very helpful and kind. I wasn’t sure which frames to get so they offered a side by side photo comparison of me wearing all of them. The best part was my glasses were ready in 30 minutes! Some of the frames were pricy, but they have less expensive options too. Also when I went there was a deal for half off lenses when you buy the frame.

This location and possibly the company is terrible with their service. Almost three weeks ago I ordered some oakley prescrip sunglasses. The service while looking at the glasses was good; however, now I see it was because they care only about selling the glasses not true service. I was told the glasses would arrive in a week to 10 days. As I said it has been almost 3 weeks so far and I never once received a call from anyone at the store in regards to the hold up. I have had to call them and when I did, never truly got a straight answer until the last time. When I have called never got any concern over the extended time it’s taking, except the last time and hat was only because I was noticeably angry. They finally told me that«oakley apparently didn’t tell them the frames were back ordered.» Thus, as a result they had to find the frame elsewhere and ship it to the store and put in the lenses themselves. They didn’t do a rush order on the ship either, so now I have to wait an additional week and very little concern from the store. Worst eyeglasses store ever! Avoid at all cost. All they care about is your money and once they have it, they sit on it and the level of service falls out.
