We came here on a Saturday the 30th around 7pm. Called ahead for a small party! Ended up having more then planned and they were more then accommodating! Katie was our server and she was fabulous! The food was amazing we had the drunkin chicken tenders and they were made to perfection! Katie was only scheduled to a specific time but stayed a little later to get us taken care of! She stayed on top of our drinks the whole time and anytime someone new showed up she was ready to take there order! We will definitely be back and hope that Katie will be there as well!

Went on Saturday night for the UFC fights, it’s a good deal at $ 5 cover and it’s not too crowded. Last time we went we sat in main dining room to watch fights. This time we were put in side room with communal banquet tables and uncomfortable folding chairs. Not best situation but we understood them trying to accommodate everyone. Biggest issue was the service. They were trying but three servers in a room with at least 150 people isn’t enough, we waited for everything. The only way to get anything was to flag down your server and hope she stopped. I will continue to view the fights here, just hope they can figure out the service piece. They are losing sales because people can’t get served, perfect example was at end of night, our table of 8 wanted another round but by time we got service fight was over so we left. A couple more servers would solve the problem.

Waited 20 mins for no one to come greet us, after the hostess tried to seat us in the corner. Moved to the bar. Ordered nachos which were soggy. Then ordered a side and we were literally watching it in the window as several servers walked by it. It finally came when we were finished eating. It wasnt even busy! Definitely not coming back.

Based solely on the bar atmosphere of this place: 4 stars! Customer service: 2 stars at best. I visited Fox and Hound with a group of friends on a weekend night. We had a ton of fun with the many games they offer including: shuffleboard, ping pong, pool, air hockey, and darts. It was a blast! I’d never been here before and don’t know of a lot of bars in my area with this many games available. But here was the downfall: the games are in a side room from the main room and there’s no bar. So you’d think they have servers walking around the room, right? Wrong! We had to go to the main room bar whenever we needed anything and the bartenders weren’t the friendliest, to say the least. I also had my ID checked once at the door when I entered, then each time I was at the bar… a little aggressive and disorganized, no? Long story short: Go here for drinks and fun games with friends, don’t expect good service, but have a good time regardless. :)

I came here last night(2⁄11) with some girlfriends for Paint Nite and we had a great time! Defiantly looking forward to doing that again! We came early so we could eat and have some drinks before the event started. We were greeted and sat right away. Our waitress was very perky and friendly, which is a great thing! The food was good. My sister and I split the platter and we pretty much ate the whole thing. So here’s the negative, even though our waitress was perky and friendly, it seemed as though there was something off. I don’t know if she was just overwhelmed or what was going on but when some of my girlfriends order drinks they waited at least 10 – 15 minutes. Two out of the 6 of us, got drinks brought to them, that they didn’t even order. They weren’t busy at all so I’m not sure why we didn’t see her that much. And this is where we got a little annoyed. The night came to and end and we were ready for our checks, we all had to send our checks back to her at least 3 times because there was things that were put on someone else’s bill that weren’t supposed to be on there. She kept saying«it may look a little weird»… What does that mean? Our bills shouldn’t look weird, it should look right. I might come back if there is another Paint Nite event, but I’m a little iffy about it.

We were looking for a place close to home because we had a late PeaPod delivery scheduled. Had been to their Hoffman Estates location several times and loved their broiled fish. Comfortable with a noisy Friday night crowd. I ordered a half rack of ribs which were perfect. Virginia ordered a French dip which was adequate. I ordered us both Patron ritas and received Long Island ice teas with soda water. Nasty. One of the Managers named George came by, apologized and corrected the order. The food overall was very good, but you lose a star for the nasty drink and the Patron ritas were a little watered down. Do they cut everything with seltzer or soda? Returning soon? Not likely.

Pretty basic place, gets really loud and attracts a certain kind of crowd, the young douche bag type of crowd, at least every time I’ve been. Drinks are weak, bartenders are kind of rude and not very attentive, long wait times. I only come here if I have too meaning someone I know what’s to go there and I’m being a good sport lol otherwise I’d just avoid this place. I’m move of a wine a wine bar person myself, however if ur into the whole sports bar thing the go to draft picks, it’s not too far away from this place and you get better service, better drinks and pretty good food. All in all I give this place a, «meh» moving on…

Very good service. There was a raffle which was really cool during the Superbowl game. Sydney, our server, was very friendly and helpful. We got the best seats in the house. right in front of the big projector. The nacho mucho chili were very good! And yummy! And they have black bean burgers as substitute if your are a vegetarian… Awesome place to chill with friends!

I entered and the restaurant wasn’t really close to full. I guewss some shift changes were going on since two or three servers walked out the door shortly after I arrived. It took at least five minutes for me to get anyone’s attention, but eventually a guy did give me a table. And he switched a TV from the NFL playoffs to the NHL network for the Rangers-Crapitals game. Ashley is a really sweet server and she was very friendly. I like that the draft beer comes in short or tall sizes, it was nice to have a tall Revolution Anti-Hero. I’m a huge chicken finger fan, but I’m really tough on them. They batter theirs in Newcastle brown ale before deep frying them. I received four fingers with my appetizer order. They’re not incredibly large, but they’re made very well. The outside is crispy and the meat is very juicy. I preferred the sweetness of the honey mustard over the BBQ sauce, which I felt had too strong of a tomato flavor and not quite enough smoke or seasoning. Good service, good food, decent atmosphere.

I have been here several times, joined their points club. Over the years I had always enjoyed the food and specials, and there was always a super nice staff. More recently i feel like my experience has been declining. The once friendly staff has been rude and lacking knowledge. The effort into the dishes seems to have decreased. I can tell others feel this way since last night I was there over a hawks game and they used to be busy for games but were very slow last night. I have always liked here because they have pool and some other games, cold draught, and a fun atmosphere. Last night I certainly didn’t feel that way. The food was good to taste but was thrown together. I got a pastrami burger, comes with pastrami, sauerkraut, swiss, and thousand island, and then randomly a thin but giant piece of lettuce(twice the size of my burger), not iceberg with a crunch but flimsy lettuce. It was served on a tiny baking dish that barely fit the meal on it. With the fries in a cup on the tray like it was a happy meal… but the fries were delicious. The burger was so greasy my hands were literally pouring with grease. I was with 2 other people who got fish n chips and the drunken tenders dinner, you couldn’t tell which was which. They clearly use the same batter since the chicken and fish were identical. Both were served the same way, on the same plate, with the same set up. One person got a margarita, on special, it was par. Not any hint of tequila. I got a not your father’s rootbeer on draught. Very cold and yummy. The water was our issue. The first one had a fruit fly in it(in winter, where r they breeding at??? In ur bar…), so I sent it back, the girl brought another and the new clean water had some mysterious floating thing in it. We did not drink the water. Our service was decent, very standard. She was even kinda boring, no smile, very little interaction. She didn’t know her food specials or the tequila in the on special margaritas. The worst staff was the bartenders. We went to ask to get pool balls, walked up to the bar, the 2 of them continued to converse with each other, then when they were done walked away. So overall it was ok, I’m sure I’ll return eventually, but only for pool.

I had a great experience here. I enjoyed how there were different channels on the televisions to keep everyone’s interest(for instance, music videos, ESPN, and football). The server and manager were incredibly personable and polite. The orders were taken, and the food and drinks came out more prompt than I was expecting. The food was delicious, and I am definitely a fan of coming back here!

Good selection of beers. However, I was charged for items I never ordered or had. When I spoke with the manager, I was told the staff doesn’t make mistakes and to pay my bill. Even after informing them it was wrong and having other people tell them the same, I was met with the same attitude. Forget this place. Don’t waste your money.

Forget the food i came here to drink!(I haven’t ate here so I’m not saying the food is bad). The drinks are pretty good selection on tap. They have deals different days of the week. I get to stay in Aurora and not go to i will start a fight but dont touch me my daddy will sue naperville. Good place and good crowd. No security guards cause it’s such a good vibe place. Older and younger crowds can mix and even end up socializing with eachother. Good mixture of games like giant jenga pool connect 4 and darts for those who don’t wanna sit down from 10-close all night. Good place.

Very nice staff here. The atmosphere is welcoming. The quesadilla and the Caribbean jerk chicken are my favorite here. The fries are very good also.

The drinks here are a yes, but the food and service not so much. I really like the salted pretzel martini, their beer selection, and the rest of the specially drink menu. Unfortunately, sitting anywhere besides the bar has resulted in pretty bad service and I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to eat their food since it is similar to most mediocre bar food. I would suggest this place to people for after-dinner drinks, but not much else.

I usually don’t dig the pub kinda restaurants, but this one is at least quiet enough to be able to hold a conversation at(Man, am I getting old to make that statement.) Don’t get me wrong, I love pub food… I just find that in a lot of these places you can’t talk to the person right next to you and I personally think that dinner out should be a social thing. I like this place though, it’s hardly ever that crowded even during game nights. They have pool tables and good music. The servers are pretty knowledgeable about the menu. I just had the chicken tenders yesterday and were surprised at how tastey they were.

first time here and it was a wonderful experience… Best onion rings I’ve ever seen/had… The rest of the food was just awesome, will be back for sure! The service was awesome too and just the ambience of the place was great as well!

This was my second time at Fox and Hound, but it’s been about a decade since my last visit(different location) and so I honestly didn’t remember if it was a decent place or not. But we planned on meeting up with my sister, BIL, and nephew, so we decided this would be a good meeting point. Located in a strip mall that’s 90% vacant, we drove up and M was like«Are you sure they’re even open?» The only clue that they were was the small cluster of 20 or so cars parked in front of the place. We enter and were immediately seated in a booth as we requested. It was about 4 p.m. on a Sunday and the place was dead. D-E-A-D. The only other patrons were in one of the side rooms, probably doing some fantasy football things or something. The place itself is spacious and there’s plenty of t.v.‘s for sports. The booths are kind of gross and smell like urine. The one we were seated in had pesky fruit flies hovering above the table. Our waitress arrived and we ordered our drinks; my go-to beer and a Bloody Mary for M. I will say that I was(slightly) impressed by their beer menu, as I certainly didn’t expect to see brews like Small Town Brewery’s «Not Your Father’s Root Beer» on there. The waitress returned with our drinks, and while M’s Bloody Mary was tasty, it was a bit pathetic looking. The only garnish was a lime wedge. No olives, pickle, or even a celery stalk. What?! Not particularly hungry, we opted to order the Base Hit Platter, which is tavern or boneless wings(we eat our wings boneless), pretzel sticks, and spinach and artichoke dip. When the food arrived, we also received onion rings which you get with the«Home Run» platter. We weren’t charge for the bigger platter, however so that worked out. The beer cheese dip that comes with the pretzel sticks is pretty good, and the pretzel sticks(3) were super soft and warm. I loved those. The wings(we just got the regular buffalo flavor) were okay. Definitely not B-Dubs wings, but we didn’t expect them to be. However, these wings were more like tiny nuggets that were dry and crunchy. Not crispy like you’d expect in a wing, but crunchy like over-fried and on the verge of being burnt. The sauce was watery, barely coated the wings, and left a nice greasy pool that spread towards the rest of the food on the platter. The spinach and artichoke dip was okay; I’ve had much better in dozens of other establishments. The tortilla chips were good, but the chip to dip ratio was very poor. Then there were the surprise onion rings. I ate one, and they were quite good. However, as I was about to put the second in my mouth, I noticed a short black hair on it. Gross! I didn’t say anything(I’ve seen«Waiting» so I know better) so I abandoned the rest of the onion rings(obviously) and munched on a couple of the tortilla chips. At that point, we were ready to leave so I shot my sister a text sayin’ to meet up at my house and not to bother stopping over. We requested the check, paid, and left. I will say that our server was great. She kept our water glasses full, brought extra napkins without us requesting them, and was pleasant overall. But, I honestly don’t care to return. The quality of the food doesn’t match the price tag and the overall experience was depressing.

Awful! Their new menu is streamlined and limited. I wanted to try to Hot Fox which is chicken patty with buffalo sauce. I was told by the waitress that the«signature» sauce doesn’t exist and I would have to pick a different sauce. I had the sweet chili and it wasn’t bad but the patty wasn’t even coated in sauce. It looked like one side barely had sauce on it. My friends both has flat breads. It was pitiful. A tiny little flatbread with what I was told tasted like ragu tomato sauce and cheese. Nothing worth the $ 10 price tag. We used to love the old menu especially the cheese fries. This new one is heavy on the drinks but the food is horrendous. Pricy, small portions and not very tasty. If the food didn’t drive us away the service didn’t. Our waitress was completely uninterested in serving us. She took our drinks order and disappeared for 10 minutes. I ordered the Hot Fox and she told me I couldn’t get it with buffalo sauce(even though the menu stated in came in buffalo sauce). My friend wanted to know if there was a chance he could get cheese fries and she was rude to him saying he couldn’t order off new menu. We never saw her for refills, check ins, etc until she dropped off the check. This was the first time we ever left a small tip. She was horrible and rude. This place used to be a solid bet to eat. It’s not any more. It’s basically a bar with some pricy bites. Don’t expect a full dinner. The service is absolutely awful. They lost a customer in me. I refuse to go back to a place and drop some dollars on subpar food and service. Such a shame because my friends and I were real fans of the old Fox and Hound.
