Went to get my daughter’s ears pierced. She is 5 and they are terrific with kids. I went to check it out and ask about how they pierce. I made sure to bring her when there were two staff people so her ears would be pierced simultaneously.
They sterilized their hands and one person sterilized her ears and they used a purple marker to mark where they would pierce. They checked it asked me to check and adjusted until it was just right. I filled out forms while she picked out earrings. Then they gave her a teddy to hold then quickly sterilized the equipment, cleaned their hands again, put on a pair of new sterile gloves each then pierced both ears at the same time.
The positioning was perfect and it only hurt for a moment. She cried but was all smiles when she saw her earrings in the mirror.
They then explained how to care for her ears and sent us home with detailed care instructions and non-​stinging ear care solution.
Great experience and the two ladies who pierced her ears did a great job making this a good experience for my daughter and her nervous mom.
No appointment is needed but if it is a child and you want both ears done at the same time make sure you go when they have more than one person working in the store,
