To start off with, I am relatively new to the Aurora/Naperville area, so this was our first venture to the local Chipotle. We drove past the restaurant twice, unable to find it because their marquee sign light was off. It was 8:20pm and completely dark out. Every other business in the strip mall had signs on, but not Chipotle. Maybe they didn’t want any customers to come in, even though they don’t close till 10:00pm. Pretty stupid to me considering the massive saturation of apartments and rental townhomes in the area, and the constant flux of new people moving to the area. Parking here is terrible since they share the lot with another fast food restaurant, but that is the landlord’s fault, nothing Chipotle can do about that. Upon walking in, our noses were hit with an awful smell, that of sewer gas or a nasty mop that needed to be wrung out a week ago. We immediately changed our dine-in plans to to-go. The wait wasn’t too bad, about twelve minutes with six people ahead of us in line. I ordered the Burrito Bowl. I agree with other Unilocalers that they are a bit stingy on ingredients compared to other locations. The portion was far from the heaping mound of food we have received at other Chipotle locations. Personally, it was the lack of rice that I wasn’t happy with. Really Chipotle, it is your cheapest ingredient and the one that fluffs up the entire meal making the portions look bigger. As I went through the line, one server asked if I wanted guacamole on my burrito bowl. I responded, «yes, just a little.» This was my first time getting the guacamole. What I didn’t know until I got to the register is that they charge a whopping EXTRA $ 1.95 for that guacamole! I’m a bit miffed that they didn’t make that clear when they asked if I wanted it. I was happy with my meal. The food tastes fresh and the flavor is good. The guacamole tastes great too. The customer service though… hmm… while I was in line paying for my meal(with my co-worker) a server behind the counter SNAPPEDOFF at a customer because the customer had pointed with her hand at a food, at the same time, putting her hand slightly over/past the glass sneeze guard. My co-worker and I looked at each other with big eyes like«oh my gosh, did you hear that.» The male manager/supervisor that was cashiering acknowledged to us that his employee over-reacted a bit. From my years of working in restaurants and possessing an IL Dept of Health Foodservice Sanitation license, I understand the need and usefulness of the glass sneeze guard, but the server’s snap reaction was not the best way to handle it, specially considering how loud she went about it. She could have easily and quietly explained, «we kindly ask that you please not reach over the sneeze guard for foodservice safety reasons, thank you.» Frankly, customers wouldn’t have to point if the servers were more clear about the food, like… «would you like mild, medium, spicy, red, green, whatever salsa» as they point to each so we know what is what. I have only eaten at Chipotle a handful of times, and still to this day don’t know which salsa is which. When they ask, I just say«the chunky one» which looks like pico de gallo… as I point to it leaving a greasy finger mark on the window, lol.

I second the fatty chewy chicken. Every damn time I get the chicken it’s not edible cuz of this problem. A while back this crazy girl gave us rotten ass guacamole on our food and refused to fix the issue and said it was fine! It was brown as hell and tasted disgusting, NOTFINE. We wanted to just get the hell out of there. The nice guy at the counter gave us free coupons without us even complaining or asking but unfortunately it was tossed out with the nasty ass food we couldn’t eat. Waste of money on this bad experience. They rush too much and can skimp too. And all the times I come here they give me the nasty fatty chicken I have to spit out like every bite. Lots of money wasted at this location that’s closest to us too many times. My boyfriend says the steak can be fatty a lot of the times too. SO double money wasted a ton of times! I wish there was a better Chipotle near us.

No lines early on a Sunday, but the girl working the line was super rude and stingy. After I called her out on giving me less guacamole than if I had ordered it on the side — she scooped it out of my bowl with some other things that got stuck to the guacamole and after seeing it was less — THREWOUT the container and put guac in another container! So rather than giving me the amount of guac that I’m paying for they would rather throw out a container and the stuff from my bowl to prove I was right!!! RUDEST, dumbest way to run a business… Is the staff trained to scoop with diva attitudes!!! Do not go here!!!

Very disappointed in my experience last night at this location. My burrito bowl was wrong. The portion size on EVERYTHING was half that of other locations. I had to ask for more rice & corn, and should have asked for more meat. When i got home, i noticed a lack of flavor in my food. The smokiness of the chicken was nonexistent. The rice didn’t have it’s normal salty tang and the tomatoes almost seemed watered down. Lastly, the customer service was bad. The ladies behind the counter seemed clearly annoyed. Not sure what the deal is, but i will not be going back to this location.

I definitely noticed the last few times that I’ve been in here they have barely did a full spoon full of things. They use less and less every time compared to other chipotles. I’ve been going to the Oswego location a lot more because of it. And I noticed the meat has been super chewy and fatty recently too. Definitely only come to this location as a last resort.

one of my favorite restaurants to eat at but the other week i found a dead fly in my lettuce… the manager was very apologetic saying it was because they don’t use pesticides and just water when cleaning it, which i appreciated but it was very upsetting. Besides this incident i will be coming back!

This really is the best fast food option out there. This place is really clean. I love the chicken burrito bowl and salad where I order double beans, fajita vegetables, chicken, red tomatillo and mild salsa, lettuce, and then a HUNK of GUACAMOLE(T PAINSNAPYAFINGERS… DODASTARE?). Or should I say… pass that guaaacccamollle. If you understand that reference, you graduated from HS between 2007 – 2010. They have a shortage of pork right now at all locations. This doesn’t concern me since I usually get chicken or steak. Eating here makes me so happy. I remember in high school I could pound two burritos with rice, beans, cheese, and sour cream. It probably was about 2000 calories. There’s a reason I used to be 225LBS. of chunky! Now, I am 175 lbs. and am obsessed with Chipotle. I’ve been getting it for my lunch, snack, and dinner since my apartment flooded. THANKSNEIGHBORS! I want to stuff my face with guacamole. heap, quick, and somewhat healthy. Go to right down the road from where I live. I don’t need to drive on Rt 59 to get there! THANKSOBAMA!

I feel like this location is always really busy. That leaves little parking in the already cramped lot and little to no cleaning of the restaurant or upkeep during dining hours. Although everyone is really friendly and the service of food is fairly quick, they could use an extra hand to man the restaurant area. Chipotle food is always good but I’ll continue to whine about the price of guac. It goes up every time I turn around, so I started to boycott. Although it’s so damn good. #firstworldproblems

I am a huge chipotle fan and have been at this location a number of times since it’s near my house and close to the shopping centers. Their service is great but the last few times I have noticed their portions are about half the size as other chipotle. I always get the burrito bowl and can tell easily that it is no where near how other chipotle make it. If their portions were normal I would easily give them 5 stars but because they charge the same amount and hold back on the servings I have to give 2 stars.

Been to this location several times. Food quality and service is always top notch. The most recent trip threw me a little though. It was really nice out so I decided to eat on the patio. There was one other customer out there sitting adjacent to me. I’m eating away at a delicious burrito bowl and then two Chipotle associates come out to the deck to sit down and have a meeting. I can over hear the discussion about critiquing another associate’s leadership skills and development. About 2 minutes into their meeting, railing about another co-worker that just doesn’t get it, the«leader» of the discussion lights up a cig. Me and the other customer on the patio are downwind and get blasted with continuous smoke mid-meal. Yummy, Ammonia flavored mexican food! I try to look over to give them the«eye» and they’re completely oblivious. After a couple more minutes of the«leader» smoking and talking the talk about leadership, they stand up to go back inside and the smoker flicks his cig butt into the parking lot right in front of the store. If you want to have a smoke on your break, all the power to you, but don’t do it around your customers that are eating their $ 9 burrito. And at least throw your butt away responsibly. Have some self-awareness and class.

We decided to give this Chipotle another chance, being summertime everyone likes to enjoy some great food outside. Unfortunately yesterday’s visit was another disappointment. Last year my boyfriend and I stopped going to this location after an unforgettable experience on the patio. As we ate our burrito bowls outside there was a female employee at the table next to us possibly on a break. She was smoking and talking on her cell which was rude and unappetizing considering she took up a whole table that more customers could be sitting at. On top of that she was spitting on the ground which got caught by the wind landing on her uniform. Gross. We gladly travel the extra 10 or 15 minutes to the Naperville/Plainfield Chipotle next to Five Guys. The employees are always upbeat and welcoming and never stingy on the portions. Great service. Yesterday trying the Fox Valley location again, they gave us what looked like 8 little cubes of chicken and when we ask for a slight bit more, of course we were both charged extra chicken. Other reviews on waiting for ingredients that are not ready is accurate. Will not be returning or recommending this location. The 2 stars was a stretch for a convenient location.

Worst Chipotle Store ever!!! They over charged my bill. I ordered 4 steak burritos and they count 5. The manager said that was my mistake because I move the order to the table. Well, I paid for the order and just realized it after I sat down. I’m supposed to be the one that got upset, instead of her. In the middle of finishing our dinner they closed down the drinking fountain without any warning. Then, they start flickering the light to make their customers panic and finished their food fast.(it is not even 10PM yet) There were about more than 10 people that are still trying to finish their foods. We love going to Chipotle but I guess not at this location. Workers at this location is extremely lazy plus supervisor/manager support that lazy workers. This happen tonight(11/27/2013 @ around 9:30PM). Hopefully they will replace the manager soon.

Yum! I tried the barbacoa burrito today, a must for pork lovers and a «eh, maybe» for chicken fans. I usually get the chicken, but a few times I’ve gotten some dry and fatty chicken in my burrito. The barbacoa has a lot of flavor, but I was in a deep, deep food coma after I finished. Not for the light lunchers! Staff is friendly and gives you extra if you ask. Extra cheese, please! And no extra charge! The guacamole is my favorite, and the chips has a nice salt/limey flavor. Not like oversalted Tostitos. Watch out — this parking lot is cramped and gets hectic during lunchtime and table space can be limited. Be prepared to take your food to go.

Okay – I am obsessed with Chipotle. Next door is Panda Express and I can’t even look at it because how can you even compare?! I get the burrito bowl with the healthy chicken, black beans, little medium and hot salsa, sour cream and cheese. I also get a large tortilla at the side. Already hungry! It turns out to be $ 7 dollars something. and it’s close to 1200 calories so I only eat half and save half for the next day. Fast service… can be busy! BUTSOOOO Good. My favorite lunch time spot.

I’ve been to a couple of locations for Chipotle and I like the food. I stopped in here last night for a quick dinner. I ordered a chicken and black bean burrito, chips and guacamole and a small drink and it was $ 11.50. While I liked what I got, and I did save half for lunch today, I think that’s quite a lot for one person for one meal(even though I’m making mine into 2)…This is in comparison to what I usually spend at other«fast food» places. The service was great, and the wait was short, and the tables were clean. The chips were fantastic! I like the guacamole and the burrito. All in all, I will come back(though the parking is ridiculous as mentioned) but it probably wouldn’t top my list because of the cost.

This location of Chipotle needed some help: — no barbacoa prepared — no ice in the pop dispenser — most of the tables were dirty — the burrito didn’t taste that great because the chicken tasted like it had been sitting around for a while I haven’t had Chipotle in 2 years; based on this trip, I haven’t been missing anything. The only reason this isn’t a one star review is because I know Chipotle to have been good in the past so I know there’s potential in there, but all the same I’ll try Qdoba next time I’m in the mood for a burrito.

Heck Yes, it gets 4 stars. It’s delicious. The staff here are super fast burrito makers so the line moves quickly. they don’t skimp on the toppings and are quite friendly. The place is always clean and I believe most of their packaging is recyclable and made from recycled materials.

This location is by Meijer. The parking is just terrible on weekends, but since we like the food we put up with it. We went on a recent Saturday at around 3 pm and were surprised at how many people were lined up. Very clean, good vegetarian options, fast staff assembly line, and quality food served fast. We especially enjoy the extra hot sauces and lemon/limes at the silverware/drinks area that top our meals nicely(particularly the chipotle Tabasco sauce).
