3 stars from 2 experiences combined. A Korean-family run business. Not bad! I would have never found this place if it weren’t for Unilocal. From the sign alone, if you were to drive by on S. Parker Road, it’d be hard to tell that it’s a tea/coffee joint. The sign just reads«AZURE». I got their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba. I asked for it to be less sweet but it still turned out too sweet. I’ll have to ask for even less sweet next time. I liked my drink because I noticed my milk tea was sweetened with honey. Honey adds a nice kick to the drink if you ask me. Boba tasted fresh. They are smaller and more firm compared to, say Lollicup on Colorado Blvd. All the drinks come with boba unless otherwise specified. Small size(16oz) $ 3.65 Large size $ 4.00 Extra Boba $ 0.50 Free Wifi. My second visit: The bobas tasted not-so-fresh this time. They have hardened in the middle and there was no chewiness to them as fresher bobas would have. I was disappointed after spending $ 4 bucks on my milk tea. The milk tea itself was fine… but the not-so-fresh bobas inside really downgraded my overall enjoyment.

I really don’t like the negative reviews because it doesn’t reflect what Azure Café truly is. I always go here for bobba and nothing else. They have tons of flavors to choose from, so sometimes it’s really hard for me to choose. The staff are nice girls, so there is no problem with that. The place is pretty clean but there are boxes off to the side, but I don’t really see the big deal in that. They seem pretty clean and I never got sick from their bobba. The bobba juice is $ 4 for a large and yeah it is a bit pricey for me, but it’s worth it. They do put a lot of bobba in there and they fit perfectly into the straw and they are delicious. The drink itself is really good too. I always get the green tea, coffee, and vanilla. I’m not a big fan of fruity flavors, but I’m sure they have good fruity flavors. Everyone should come try here one of these days :)

After reading the Unilocal reviews I was excited to come here during my visit to Denver. I had to hide my disappointment when I walked in. While clean, the shop was very cluttered with boxes along every wall. There was a random ice cream display that was shoved against the wall and with its lights off next to a few bookcases, which didn’t make it appealing. Next to the bookcases was a rack of wrapped dry cleaned shirts. This all was before I even got to the counter. There were two or three large faux suede booths and a large chess set, a checkers game, and a tv so I think they do encourage you to stay a while. However, the warmness of the place with the air conditioner turned off really didn’t make you feel comfortable. The drinks were ok. My Thai ice tea and the avocado snow with boba were good. The black milk tea we ordered was 90% milk and tasted nothing like tea. When I picked up the drinks and questioned the drink shouldn’t be stark white and maybe there was too much milk, the girl at the counter told me they make theirs differently from other places. WTF??? This place has potential but needs a good cleaning and a new image. And just take out the dry cleaning altogether. A café should be a welcoming, relaxing or fun place to hang out, and not a place that people also drop off dirty clothes for cleaning. Note to the owner: switch to making the popular black milk tea drink the way it should be made with black tea and a little milk and not the reverse, and clean up the clutter so your customers will want to come back.

Though it is apparent that this boba shop needs an internal makeover, I will focus on the positives of this business. This is the only place I will go to study for a few good reasons: it is quiet, the drinks are tasty, and the staff is really nice. Though I still can’t seem to bring myself to give 4 stars, dont let that keep you from going to Azure. Azure is my favorite boba shop in Denver… yeah. It’s just a personal preference.

Love the location and friendly staff. Great drinks and great BOBA! But sadly, it doesn’t seem as busy as it should! Go visit! You won’t be disappointed, and keep this place in business. Oh, and found out, it does dry cleaning too. Who would have thought? Just another reason to visit!

I have passed by Azure so many times that I am surprised that I had never noticed it before. I probably never would have found it, if it weren’t for Unilocal.Azure is the place to get boba in Aurora. They have a huge menu with more flavors than I’ll ever get to try. They use real taro. Their boba’s are slightly smaller, which means that they won’t get stuck in your straw. Their space is sparsely decorated, but does feature a number of games conducive to hanging out, plus they have free wifi… score!

Did you know that William Shakespeare wrote a fantastic(and sadly now lost) play about boba drinks? He sure did. It was called«Azure Like It». Forsooth, I lie not. This spot was once a branch of the famed Lollicup Tea Zone, one of the early promoters of this Taiwanese tapioca tea. However, it is now independently owned and operated — the Korean owner is so sweet! There are a number of drinks to moisten yourself with — a sour Green Mango Slush(or as they cutely call it, Slushi), a nutty Black Sesame Snow, or a rich Papaya Milk Juice are some options. They also have hot drinks — mochas, coffees, and the like. And if you’re feeling a bit peckish they have a few snacks too, from ice-cream to Ramen noodles to Patbingsu(Korean shaved ice with fruit). So what are you waiting for? Go to Azure and see what the Bard was talking about!
