Customer service is almost non existent with this entire franchise. For the last 2 days the Peoria store hasn’t been open-with a sign on the door stating they had to close early. The DM for this store is never around. And the entire area seems to have gone to shit since Dan Rohn left. So now on my way home from work I can’t stop in DTC because that store closed. Arapahoe is under construction. And now they have no staff to operate the Peoria store. Time to go back to Darque Tan.

Went there today as it is on my way to work. The worker with the gauges in her ear is very rude! There versa spa’s were both down and the prices went up. The other worker tried to give me a discount to reflect the normal price but the other girl wasn’t having it. I should’ve went to my usual location at Tiffany Plaza.

Staff is usually pretty nice but I have found myself always checking to see if the beds have been cleaned. Twice in a week I have been put into a bed that wasnt cleaned. Especially the top lid part. Little disgusting. And I went at 10am last sunday and they were closed. Door hours said they should have opened at 8am. Shortly after 10, the girl who was supposed to be there on time was frantic because she couldnt figure out how to turn the alarm off. I decided to leave and do other things. Not sure whats going on there but if it keeps up this way, I may go elsewhere

This place is a joke. The customer service is horrible, the workers are very rude here. They definitely will try to lie to you or mislead you into taking your money. It’s pretty sad. Be cautious of this place, everything has a hidden fee/term/condition. Also, not only are they rude but they are very pushy and try to get you to buy lotion after you’ve said no twice. They don’t supply goggles or wet wipes here. Every time I leave my hands are all gross and sticky. How hard is it to put a box of wet wipes in the room? They advertise a free week of tanning for new members. DON’T DOIT. You have to buy a pair of $ 4 goggles from them to do it, even if you already have your own. You only get to use the level 1 bed and I have never seen a worse or more cheap level 1 bed anywhere in my life. Not even in someone’s basement or a garage sale. It doesn’t have a head rest so your head is just lying on hard glass. And it doesn’t even tan you. I have gone for the max limit of 20 minutes 3 times now and my color has not changed even a little bit. THISISTHEWORSTTANNINGSALON I HAVEEVERBEENTO.

I feel like I need to say the positive things before I get to the negative. I’m not one to complain about much, but there are times and this is one of them. So the positive: They have nice beds. Although I only use the highest level bed; the 360, so I can’t speak much about the others. The versaspa spray tan is good. I prefer mystic HD but versaspa gets the job done. Ok so my only positive about this place is that they have nice beds, because it’s really the only reason I go there-to TAN. So the rest is just about the experience… The negative: Umm I’m not sure where they find these people to work there? They’re terrible. Pretty much all of them. I’ve been a member there for a couple years now and everyone that has worked there just comes and goes, new people all the time. They all stand outside and smoke and look extremely annoyed by the fact they need to put their cigarette out to go inside and check you in. Gross. This hasn’t just happened once. It happens all the time. The other thing is they are insanely pushy about buying lotions. I currently have four products and do not need another. I’m good, for a long while. So when I say I’m good, it means I’m good. Every time I go in, the same girl try’s to push the same lotion on me when I had just told her the day before that I was good. No thanks. When I’m out, I’ll buy more. I promise. Plan and simple. I’m not sure how many times I’m going to have to say no, because apparently the amount I’ve given up to this point hasn’t been enough. It’s cool though, we can continue this game. Whatever. I feel like they think I’m stupid. I work in sales, so I get it. But enough. The fact that you can’t even remember me, my name or the fact I’ve already said no like 100 times when I come in here 3 – 4 days a week is a turn off. Maybe build a relationship with your clients and they will want to buy from you? I just feel like all the employees are fake and they sit there and judge you and talk about you when you leave. Please, you work at a tanning salon, get over yourself. I worked in one in college, so I’m not judging… but then I graduated and moved on with my life. And I certainly wasn’t rude and pushy to people and trashy smoking cigarettes in front of the salon. The only reason I continue to come here is because I’m under contract and the beds work and are nice quality. The prices for packages are expensive, but I think it’s a fair value for the quality of the beds you get with each package. And tanning isn’t cheap no matter where you go. So I’ll just keep going here and putting up with the rude pushy smokers and saying NO to the same girl over and over. But you’ve all been warned this is the lovely experience you’ll receive when you visit :)
