Logan’s Roadhouse

My first time in Logan’s Roadhouse in Augusta Georgia.
It was a great experience. The salad was very fresh and delicious… beats Olive Garden’s salad (all you can eat). I ordered ribs and steak and it was cooked to my satisfaction. Thank you so much Logan’s Roadhouse… I will be coming back.

Traveling for work and needed a low-​carb dinner.
I’ve been to plenty of Logan’s places. They are all fine. This one has really good service and I wanted to note it.
My server, Aaron S, was friendly and knowledgeable. He made recommendations but wasn’t pushy. He was prompt with refills and the check and even took an item off my bill that was brought out late — the kind of goodwill worth a dozen times the cost of the side item.
The steak was hot and cooked to my order. The veggies were excellent. The salad lettuce looked a tiny bit long in the tooth but tasted ok. The Diet Coke was correct (something restaurants with inattentive management blow all the time). No manager stopped by to check on me.
Would return.
Maybe for lunch tomorrow :)
Oh. On the way out the door, Aaron swung by to wish me a goodnight. So my final impression is of friendly and attentive.

Extremely disappointed with my fried cheese bacon burger. The 2 smallest pieces of bacon I’ve ever seen from a restaurant… I felt like it was a fast food restaurant. Oh well, at least the rolls never fail.

Very good food, usually come here often. The service is excellent and the food is fresh and fast for you to get it. The only down side is that it get very busy on dinner time and sometimes the wait is a little bit long.

So its a chain restaurant so the food is pretty consistent. Good burgers and all that jazz. I like this place because I know what I’m getting. But with that said their drinks are the reason I keep going. My wife loves the roadhouse teas and I prefer the beer. For the beer drinkers out there you know its hard to find a chain restaurant where the beer isn’t flat. Logans doesn’t have the problem. I’m not sure what they do different but I like it. If I wanna sit back and hang with friends this is one of my go to places. Its not overly expensive and while you wait for the food they give you those big rolls to munch on while you wait. WIN WIN!

This place is awesome!!! The food is fantastic!!! We sat at the Bar and the two bartenders named Barbara and Nick were absolutely awesome!!! We will be back!!! I had the ribs and my son at had a steak and so did the rest of the crew we were with!!! Awesome food and awesome service!!!

Our server William was outstanding. The food was fresh and flavorful. The portions were large. Over all very good!

Every-​time I step on one of those peanut shells it bothers me to death! But once I get an order of fried mushrooms I forget alllll about the peanuts! I truly enjoy coming to Logan’s (besides the peanuts), the rolls are addictive (I have a minimum intake), the steaks are good, the burgers are amazing and the staff is super sweet! I enjoy the endless combinations of Long Island Iced Teas you can create, the salads are pretty good as well. It is a good place to go as a group or on a date night. It is always busy and the prices are not too bad. when we are stuck on what to eat we head to Logan’s. So if you don’t mind stepping on peanuts or watching people throw peanut shells on the floor then Logan’s is right up your alley! Great steaks, great burgers, great service!

It was a large party served by one waitress, so a couple of errors might be okay; three incorrect orders and two mistakes on the bill is probably a bit much. Food was okay at best — fortunately, the birthday girl’s filet was one of the better entrees. Great atmosphere to bring a rowdy group including kids, so we will be back (just not with the same server hopefully).

One of the Best meals and the best service we ever had. My boyfriend and I eat out every weekend. This past weekend we visited Logan’s Road house.
The meal was excellent with dinner rolls to die for… shot my diet!
The steaks and salads were made to perfection.
We had a waitress named Jacqueline. She was one of the best waitress we have ever had. Jacqueline knew the menu and was quick and courteous. She took our drink order and returned with our drinks and take our order within minutes.
While we waited on our order she visited our table to assure us our meal would be served shortly.
I over heard her waiting on two older women that had many questions. Jacqueline was patient and informative. She made suggestion so that the women would know what to order.
She delivered our food and had a conversation with us.
Even thou the restaurant was very busy Jacqueline was able to give us great service and check on us though out our meal.
We will most certainly go back Logan’s Roadhouse and we will ask to be seated in Jacqueline’s section.
Great Job; Jacqueline was not the only great waitress. All of the employees were busy, but still gave great service.
I was very impressed.
We are from up North, new to the area and feel we found a GREAT FIND when it comes to dining out.

I had dinner with a friend in the early evening and we sat in the bar booths. Service was a little slow and we had to request silver ware although they were not busy. I ordered the Mesquite steak salad which tasted very good and received ample servings of balsamic dressing. Overall service was slow at first but food was good!

After a rough day at work I was craving a steak and beer. Luckily Logan’s was close to my hotel and I decided to give it a chance. I was not disappointed.
Logan’s roadhouse is a quaint rustic restaurant with a very country feel to it. There are free peanuts on the tables to snack on and they also bring you freshly baked bread to your table.
The steak I had was very nicely cooked. Not the best steak I have ever had but it was definitely tasty. Medium rare was pink all the way through and came out on a hot platter.
Very nice environment and sociable crowd. I will be coming back for seconds.

I dont know why the reviews are so bad…
Food: 4÷5… Its a chain– so that should answer most of your questions…
I dont care about service– i want tasty food.
Ordered:
They give bread and have peanuts available to munch on before and while you wait for food.
⁴⁄₅ Ribs: enough sauce to coat the ribs and give it flavor but not more if you like it really saucy. As advertised, the meat fell off the bone and were very good.
Steak with fried onions and mashed potatoes: ⁴⁄₅
It was good. Not amazing but definitely good enough… As i said. A chain.
Also had chicken, with bacon, mushrooms and rice…
Also very good. Felt healthier but we all know its not but tasted good and was worth it.
Its 3.5−4÷5 place for food.

Soooo disappointed in this place. BBQ ribs were dry, filet mignon was blah …
To top it off the waitress was disingenuous or rude multiple times in subtle ways. For example:
1. She would ask us if we needed anything but kept walking… The place was not busy at 6pm
2. She asked is if we wanted dessert while holding our bill then laid it on the table. Our steaks were maybe ²⁄₃ finished
3. Dropped a knife, shoved a plate
You get the point. We still tipped her since it’s the holidays but management should train their staff for a steak restaurant, not a buffet.

This is the kind of place that we go when we say «I can’t think of anywhere else to go.» The reason for this isn’t because it is bad, or even mediocre, it is that we know we can get a good meal for a decent price at Logan’s.
Keeping up with my Reviews, you can see that I eat at a LOT of restaurants (I cook, but I just really really like to eat) and because of that, sometimes you just get bogged down and need a fall back spot. Logan’s is one of these spots for me.
I don’t eat red meat, but their chicken dishes are solid, tasty, and good value. The chicken tenders meal is a giant portion of food, I generally always bring half of it home for a second meal. The teriyaki grilled chicken is good, I always get it with sauteed mushrooms and finish the entire dish nearly every time.
I’l also occasionally get a salad, the salmon Caesar is tasty, but that is not the main thing I think of when I want to go to Logan’s.
And the yeast rolls, can’t beat ‘em! And I like that they don’t mess with the butter, it isn’t cinnamon, or weird, just straight up butter.

I stopped by to get some food to-​go so I sat at the bar to order and have a beer while I waited. The bar crowd was definitely just a bunch of regulars. There was even one guy who was dishing out homemade chili from a tupperware container to random Logan’s employees who showed up with a bowl and spoon!!! Also there were two regulars who were slurring so hard, I was concerned and relieved when they finally left. The spot next to me at the bar sat uncleared from the previous diner the entire time I was there. Also a guest was sent to the bar, by the hostess, to get change for a $ 20 and the bartender made him wait 5 minutes before she got around to it. I could go on and on about the messy, unprofessional bar situation, but any manager worth their salt HAS to be aware of the lack of concern and/​or control by the bartenders. He or she obviously does not care.
I waited 20 minutes for my food to come, paid, tipped and left. When I got home I opened my food to find that they had left my baked potato out of the order. FAIL. When you get a steak, baked potato and veggies, it stinks to have the potato left out. Also there was a very SHARP, hard tan colored object about the size of a pencil eraser in my salad. If I had swallowed it i would be writing this from the hospital.
Also the food was not all that good. The steak was tough and chewy.
I would call to complain to management, but judging by the bar scene from earlier, I doubt they would care.

I had a burger. It could have had a little more flavor. Thank goodness for the bar. My roadhouse tea (long island) took my mind off the pain. I also enjoyed the fresh hot rolls and butter.

Holy crap, don’t waste your money. My order was totally wrong (the cooks mistake, not the waitress’s), my husband’s steak was half med rare, half med well, & mostly fat. We had to ask for ice; our drinks had very little (not enough to cool the tea down completely) & our kids’ drinks just point blank didn’t have ice. If you want a steakhouse, go to the mall & have Chop House. Logans has gone downhill. Friendly service, but it’s hard to justify paying steakhouse prices for mediocre food.
Update: Shortly after posting this review, I got a message from their customer service asking for my contact info. I sent my email address and haven’t heard another thing from them, now more than a week later. So yeah… In summary: Lousy food, hot sodas/​tea, & empty offers from their corporate office. Don’t bother.

The 11oz sirloin was tasteless and the sweet potato was half cooked and also tasteless. The rolls and peanuts were nice but this isn’t my first negative experience with their food do I don’t think I’ll be going back. I’m not sure if it’s return even if someone else was buying…
Friends don’t let friends eat bad steak.

Your typically steakhouse… only the steak wasn’t that great. But I guess, it was the typically franchise or chain steakhouses.
Steak was OK
Sweet potato… some how did not have any flavor… it was like they zapped the flavor out… so disappointing because these are one of my fav foods.
The food was all just OK!
I would not make it a mission to come back here but I wouldn’t put up a huge fight if someone wanted to go back her.
BUT the ice tea beverages… great. I usually do not like alcoholic beverages… but this was actually good.
