Kinki Sushi has an extensive list of well prepared rolls. I got mine to go, but picking it up, seemed like the atmosphere was more or less the same as similar establishments. The price wasn’t bad and everything tasted fresh. Kinki is a one-trick pony but they know what they’re doing here, definitely worth a visit if you’ve got a lunch hour to kill on Washington Rd

So I decided to try this place after coming from Hawaii and really falling in love with sushi. The make their sushi fresh and it’s so yummy. I also tried on the there hibachi meals. All in all I would recommend this place for the price I really feel like you get a great deal. The staff was really nice.

Well, I’ve just given these guys a second chance and I am glad I did! They must have either changed management since I have visited or did a major menu overhaul. Having said all that, my food was absolutely delicious. Good job. I will be back soon!

The food is average… but overpriced. A dinner for two(on paper plates) was approximately $ 30 bucks. Might come back if in the mood for sushi, but probably not some place I’d regularly visit.

First time at this spot and I am pleased. Wanted some sushi and just moved to the area so I trusted the reviews from Unilocal and I wasn’t disappointed. I even made up a roll and it turned out great. Staff was very helpful and nice. I will be eating here again

Food its delicios and at a great reasonable price for Japanese food! Just call, grab and go when there’s no time to go a fancy Japanese hibachi place. My fav its the chicken and shrimp teriyaki. Only thing its, I wish you guys would put some broccoli with the zucchini and mushroom but I recommend this place anytime !

Good bang for your buck. Cheap and you get a lot of sushi. Staff was nice and the service was mad quick.

Wasn’t sure what to expect here. The sushi was edible but not spectacular. My companion ordered s tempura roll, and I must say I am not a fan of the processed shrimp sticks many places are using these days. Another downer is the lack of any kind of adult beverage. Good for carry out but not much else.

This is a great little sushi stop! I have yet to be disappointed by the size or quality of any rolls I’ve ordered here — everything always tastes so fresh and delicious. They have the usual fare(spicy shrimp, spicy tuna, california roll, etc.) and a variety of specialty rolls that are must-trys. I’m a huge fan of the love star roll in particular — a salmon roll with salmon roe and another variety of roe on top(name of it slips my mind right now). The gyoza are some of the best i’ve tried, and their fried rolls are great for when you’re in the mood for something heavier. The staff is always friendly and accommodating(been here a few times with some picky eaters), but I have to knock them a bit on their space. There’s not a ton of seating inside, and the kitchen area is a little small — they can get swamped and backed up at lunch sometimes. Would be nice to see them expand some of their seating to the space on the sidewalk outside.

I did a review of this place earlier and gave it 5 stars and I had to bring it down to at least a 4. The only reason that I had to was because of the past few visits. First I’d like to say that the place is great for the price, military discount, greet staff, friendly environment, but the past 4 times that I have been here I’ve been getting the sushi appetizer and noticed that when I order the salmon nigiri there has been either a fish bone and or some left over scales of the fish. It is still delicious but finding a scale or bone in my mouth on multiple occasions kind of ruin your appetite. I would still go here but if you order the salmon sushi, just be in the look out. I’d still recommend this place and still continue to go.

I’ve been here a few times to get my quick sushi fix. This place is great to get ur quick sushi fix and their special sauce is tasty! The server is super sweet and friendly. The prices are cheap and the portion sizes are good. If you want good quality fancy sushi this isn’t really the right spot but if ur looking for an average sushi place this is it!

Good sushi good prices. My rainbow roll had cooked salmon and eel on it. The 12 other sushi restaurants I’ve gotten a rainbow roll used raw salmon, tuna and a white flesh fish.

Food: 4 – 4.5÷5 for taste… really need 4.5 ratings Quantity: 5⁄5 size of the rolls are good esp for $ Service: 5⁄5 Also, all menu prices were $ 1 off– not sure how long that will last but for the size of the rolls and the price– I will be a regular. Went there for lunch… Right when they opened and no one else was in… Extremely friendly staff. I ordered: $ 6-Shrimp tempura roll –requested it flash fried $ 8– Dynamite roll – flash fried Both came with cucumber, seaweed and wasabi. The sauce is on the side for take out and the food was hot for my 10 minute drive home. $ 7 Hibachi chicken with veggies and fried rice(mayo sauce to go). I was so satisfied from the sushi i only ate a quarter– full and felt food and have leftovers. Looking forward to eat the hibachi later– they give mayo and teriyaki sauce on the side so it was great. Side note: This is sushi– most of the time– quite pricey but for the price and quality this place is great. I will definitely go back and will likely be a regular.

Popped into kinki sushi because of the convenient location. While the staff was friendly, they weren’t overly accommodating or welcoming. It’s a smaller space than it appears from the outside. Thumbs up they do serve Pepsi products. That having been said I got a flat diet Pepsi! Thumbs down. I tried the edamame, California roll, spicy tuna roll and the hibachi chicken with fried rice. Everything looked pretty good– presentation was fine. However, everything also really lacked flavor. Basically how I feel about this experience is, been there done that.

I’ve been here many times, and I’ve never once had a bad experience. Everything is always delicious and prepared right in front of you. When I lived in Augusta my mom and I used to come in so frequently that they knew what we wanted before we even ordered it. The best part is the take-out option. Wanna watch a movie while shoveling raw fish and rice into your face? Just order your favorite roll to go. The staff is friendly and you can expect and overall great experience.

The first time here, but have been in many other sushi places, and I can attest that is very good. The place is clean, and the cashier is the friendliest cashier ever. She even help me to save a few $$. We had the«party plate«and it was good. As other have said, the taste of an expensive restaurant, with the speed and price of a fast food.

We had the crispy crab stick roll, super crunchy roll, pork dumplings. It was awesome. We will definitely be back soon. The prices were reasonable. 2 rolls, dumplings, 3 drinks, side of fried rice for $ 28. Can’t beat that.

Since moving to Georgia from California, I was craving for some sushi. At first I had tried to go to Miyabi on Augusta West Parkway but they were so busy and I didn’t want to wait 3 hours for a table! So I came here for lunch one day and ordered the spider roll, with sushi rice and miso soup. Quality of the sushi isn’t the best. I’m sorry, but any seafood in Augusta can’t compare to where I’m originally from and that’s Monterey, CA where the seafood is known to be the best for central coast California. Visit that area and you’ll understand what I’m talking about. The sushi wasn’t terrible but it kind of lacked in flavor. Having it with soy sauce and wasabi didn’t really make a difference either. I think the next time I’m here, I will order a Hibachi plate. Service was quick and the gal that took our order was right on top of things. You can order food to go as well.

This place always smells so GOOD! Having been raised with traditional sit down sushi bars, I would have normally turned on my heels and kept driving once I saw the fast food type atmosphere inside. I’m so glad I didn’t though. Oh my gosh did I have egg on my face after finishing my first volcano roll. First off, the ratio of fish and sauce to rice is perfect. I’ve been around to a couple other sushi places that kind of fell apart in execution and I think I’ve found my new«it» place. The avocado was sliced thin, was fresh and green, and was plentiful as well. I love how there is an open window in the kitchen so you could peer into the hibachi cooking area. The smell of grilled meats always tears me apart. «Do I do sushi or hibachi? Sushi or hibachi?» Each time I’ve stuck with the sushi but one of these days, a rogue desire for fried rice and grilled chicken will grab me. I’ve always had the best service here and the lady behind the grill and sushi bar is always so sweet and accommodating.
