Expensive but usually worth the extra few dollars. This is one of the few places I’ll go get a mixed drink instead of beer, though they have both + plenty of wine(looks like they actually invested quite a bit of money in a wine distribution system behind the bar). Atmosphere and service are 5 stars easily; their bartenders I’m sure have to put up with all sorts of picky drink orders and help people who don’t know the first thing about cocktails(such as myself) find something they like it, but they seem to actually enjoy it. Their menu is limited but good; I have snacked on pretzel bites at the bar and sat down for a wood fired pizza. Don’t waste a trip to Craft & Vine if you’re hammered or you want cheap greasy food — start the evening here, take your time, try something new.

Ultra modern space that serves craft cocktails, small plates and flatbreads(pizzas). I sat at the bar on a busy Saturday night, it gave the opportunity to watch the mixologist. I hate using the word mixologist but the only other word that comes to mind is wizard. He expertly made cocktails with exactness that showed he knew his craft. The food was excellent. The pretzel bites with pimiento cheese sauce was by far the best I’ve had. My waitress suggested the special of the night which was a pork jowl(cheek)hash, which was unctuous and fatty in all the right ways. When I’m back in Augusta I’m definitely coming back.

We’ve been here twice, once on a random weekend and on New Year’s Eve. The food is to die for. Small plates are fantastic. The cheese and meat combos are amazing. The pizza is unique and tasty. The drinks take a little while, but sit at the bar and watch them make them and you’ll understand the magic that goes in to each one. Definitely worth the wait. We will be back again and again.

If you are looking to pretend you aren’t in Augusta, this is the restaurant/bar for you! It is so relaxing and refreshing. The servers are fantastic, the food and drinks are delicious, and the bartenders are entertaining and knowledgeable. The décor is lovely and the bathrooms are adorable. My go to date night spot.

My hands down favorite place in Augusta. Has an awesome upscale and trendy atmosphere and the food is always delicious. I love the drinks here and the servers are always very personable. My favorite place to bring people from out of town. Only bummer is no reservations so sometimes the wait can be long.

One of the best restaurants and best meals we have had and quite some time. Matt Wallace is an extraordinary chef and the food quality rivals our trips to BlackBerry Farm, need I say more!

Overall really good food, drinks, and fun atmosphere. Some of their food is better than other choices but it is fun to taste around the changing menu. Prices are pretty good and the servers are nice and helpful.

This place is excellent! Ate with my wife and sister in law. We shared 3 cheeses and 2 meats plate, margarita pizza and cab sirloin. The best is the cab sirloin with the spicey bravas sauce. It is out of this world! I would pay for jars of this sauce for when I grill out filets! Our server was awesome and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. I would recommend this place to anyone! Will definitely be back soon!

I finally made it here last night and I’m so glad I did. I had an awesome experience. I sat at the bar, figuring I’d just stop in for a cocktail and maybe a light noshing. Susan(one of the bartenders) was phenomenal; watching her make all the drinks she did, while also chatting me up makes you understand the«Craft» in «Craft & Vine». Speaking of the staff… as someone who likes to dress up on occasion, I appreciated the button-down vests and the suspenders that the staff wore– it really added to the ambiance that C&V seems to be creating. As far as the offerings go, the drinks were interesting. I had a Baby’s First Bourbon, which had orgeat in it(so if you like almonds, you’re in luck). My second drink, the Raul Bunyan, was appropriately described by Susan as a «tequila Manhattan». I let her do Dealer’s Choice for my last drink and ended up with the Great Gazoo– an absinthe cocktail that was refreshing without being overpowering. For food, I had the carpaccio(which was yummy) and a new dish– CAB sirloin. Oh man! Every bite was more delicious than the one before it. Think of the tapas dish«batatas bravas»…and then top it with delicious, med-rare steak. Lastly, the décor… I like that it went for the speakeasy look and I think they pulled it off without the pretention you might find at a similarly-themed establishment in, say, Brooklyn. The old-timey light fixtures, the pressed metal ceiling, the rolling ladder behind the bar, the open kitchen… All of it worked for me. And, as a small side note, I like when a place has a better-than-standard restroom, which C&V had. And sure, you are only in the restroom for 3% of the your visit, but… it’s a nice touch. Overall, my experience has left me looking forward to the next time I get to go downtown, because Craft & Vine will definitely be on my short list of places to visit.

This is our favorite restaurant period. In over 10 visits there was single item(an appetizer) that wasn’t somewhere between fantastic and mind blowing. They have some of the best cocktails and the environment is awesome. The revolving menu means it’s exciting every time. I take every family member who visits here at least once. Can’t rave enough, definitely check it out. It is expensive but they more than earn every cent you spend. I only bring it up so you aren’t surprised.

We’ve been here a couple of times. They have a good selection of cheeses and switch it up often. They servers are well informed and very courteous. This restaurant is professionally run and it shows. I love wood fired pizzas. My BF prefers the thicker, basic pizza…(Boooo). We have had the deviled eggs and they never disappoint. The fried oysters are delicious and it’s a decent sized portion for a «small plate». There bar is where it hits the high notes for me. I love a great whiskey drink and they don’t disappoint. They have a great happy hour and a very comfortable bar setting.

If you’re looking for a classy, speakeasy style place, this is it. This sit down cocktail bar is ideal for a date or a small group of friends. This place stands out amongst all the other boisterous bars downtown; come here instead to relax, enjoy privacy and good conversation, and indulge in some ridiculously good drinks.

«Are we in Augusta or Atlanta?» I recently moved to Augusta from Buckhead(Atlanta) and brought a friend to Craft and Vine. He said«I don’t even think we have a mixology place like this in ATL.» That may be true. The drinks at Craft and Vine are excellent, just be sure to ask the server to describe the drink if you are unsure how sweet it may be. The food is very good. Excellent charcuterie and cheese options. There are quite a few options for everyone, including vegetarians. If you like a drink, make sure to remember it’s name as the menu changes. The bartenders are happy to make your favorite drink again even if it is no longer on the menu.

Love love it. Perfect place to go in Augusta on a busy night precisely because they do NOT take reservations. Cocktails were amazing and crafted right in front of us. Food was yummy and reasonably priced. Happy Hour prices were terrific — especially on the fun craft beers($ 3!!) Can’t wait to return on next visit to the area.

This place is amazing for the food, drinks, and all-around atmosphere — another home run by the owners of Frog Hollow Tavern. It’s a perfect place for either a date night or to hang out with a small group of friends; the wife and I are always torn choosing between Frog Hollow and Craft & Vine on the rare date nights. We always have a blast sampling the cocktails and ordering as many small plates as we can stomach. I am never disappointed by letting the restaurant surprise us and just ordering all the nightly specials. Simply can’t say enough good things about this family of restaurants.

Ambience. A Service. A Food. A Price. A I’m such a fan of this tapas modern handcrafted drinks and pizzas restaurant! I love it that its downtown Broad Street and has street parking. Love the fun causal dressy code. However, Just don’t wear flip flops and cutoffs! Great swanky modern ambience. Call for reservations, however, if it’s busy then grab a seat easily at the bar when it becomes available. If you didn’t make a reservation, then try to score a seat at the bar! Love the staff. From the host to my couple server bartenders. Everyone was helpful describing the theme of the restaurant and made great recommendations. From drinks to food! They make prohibition hand crafted drinks. Most wines offered can purchase in 1 oz, 3 oz, or 6 oz. Or more. Nice options to try their wine selections! I was there for happy hour on a Saturday and got a lovely pour of tasty Pinot Grigio for $ 5! The food is foodie heavenly and flavorful. The deviled eggs are constantly evolving and market price depending on ingredients to create the eggs. You can order 3 halves or 6 halves. Today, the deviled eggs had bacon jam and red eye gravy! Delicious! Ordered the beef tartar. Perfectly raw chunks of tender beef. Like that there are nice bites of raw beef rather than grinding or chopping down to fine. Accompanied with a raw egg and crostini. The egg mixed in just makes each mouthful moist and juicy! Then we had the wahoo pan seared Wahoo fish. Nicky crusted on the outside and beautifully raw in the middle! I’m a FAN! Can’t wait to go back!

Returned to Craft & Vine tonight, had the deviled eggs again, this time it was stuffed with duck confit and topped with a piece of duck, it was very delightful. We were brought a dish of warm Shredded Brussel Sprouts topped with caramelized onions and chopped pecans. The food was was delicious. Our drink was a bit different, I will stick with a Vodka Tonic next time.

Vibe. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think about my visit here. It is unlike any other place I’ve dined in the CSRA, it really does have that«city vibe». Had dinner here on a Wednesday night. Arrived sometime after 6, and business was steady but there was no wait. We sat at a high top close to the bar. The space is tight, but it works. As I was just back from vacation I wanted to stay away from the high calorie libations(I know, I know!) so I stuck with sparkling wine. I had a glass of both options that are served by the glass. Hubs had two glasses of the grūner veltliner, that’s a great wine you don’t see often. We did try the pretzel bites as an appetizer, and while I could taste the smokey flavor from the wood burning oven overall I was not impressed. Next time I’ll order charcuterie to start. For our meals we both had pizza(yes, again-very adventurous). I had the white pizza and he had the peach BBQ pizza. Both were very good, I’d absolutely order them again. I have good allergies and I love it when places note on their menus to please let them know. Yes, I have to sometimes answer a million questions– but it tells me 1. They care 2. They know what they are serving. The service and attention to detail was great. Not only was everyone friendly, but helpful. A server(who wasn’t ours) passed our table and noticed my water glass was empty. Refilled it. That’s a pretty huge deal! It can be so hard go get fresh water sometimes! Even though they do put a bottle on the table. I’ll be back to Craft and Vine and I’ll try to do a better job getting outside of my box!
