The workers here are very friendly and are always willing to help, especially if you need help getting something down to look at. 5⁄5! They also have all kinds of groovy clothing and sweat shop free clothing!

I came in for a tobacco pipe and walked in to see everything I could ever need or want. Cosmic Charlie’s is full of treasures from floor to ceiling! I had never been before and when I walked in two employees welcomed me very warmly and separately from each other, each letting me know they’re happy to help and I could tell it was genuine. One of them checked my ID and then lead me «down the rabbit hole» to the adult products. I like that one may enter the main floor without having to be 18. I’ll definitely be back!

Shortly after my fiancé was diagnosed with breast cancer during an already complicated twin pregnancy, the owner of Cosmic Charlie’s sent us an e-​mail regarding a raffle that he was holding for her benefit. I noticed on their Facebook page that the business proceeded to raffle off the mentioned piece of merchandise, but we still have not received any kind of follow-​up since the drawing occurred over 5 months ago. Is he planning on keeping the money that was raised or what?
*UPDATE* The owner of Cosmic Charlie’s informed me that he DID NOT MAKE ENOUGH TO PROFIT OFF THE RAFFLE ITEM before raising money so they kept all of the proceeds instead.

I haven’t been to Charlies in a minute but every time I have gone people were very helpful and nice there are a lot of signs but we also live in a world of cut throat people so it is understandable to me why you see the ‘smile yer on camera’ signs. They have a wide selection of pipes varying from hand blown to scientific glass. Also ranging in prices a trip there can easily run 2 – 300 if you aren’t paying attention. Would recommend

Those five stars are just for the sheer overwhelmingness (more words that are no words…) of the place. Everything from Sox gear to para-​faerie-​nalia to hand-​carved elephants and glass-​topped tiger-​sculpture coffee tables. Wall to wall. To wall.
It is amazing. There is something for everybody (and even more for everybody else). You will not find what you need… or want. You will, however, find everything that you never could have imagined you needed or wanted.
(Plus, it is a fantastic old building and has tons of history soaked into the walls which is especially impressive on the top-​secret-​family-​special-​tour.)
The place is not a shop. It is an event.

Great little shop in downtown Augusta. Used to always go here to get new plugs and other gauged earrings. It’s a head shop/​hippie shop, whatever you want to call it so it has all the stuff you’d find in one of those.
