Sorry to say Ed passed on. He was the archetect of the «grungy, but delicious — and inexpensive» motif. The wonderful news is that Mike and his brother Chuck have taken over.
Some of the «charm» is gone — they have scrubbed the place top-​to-​bottom and installed new clean restrooms.
The floors are still crooked and the exterior is deceiving, but the prices are still from the 1990’s and the staff has risen with the pride of the new ownership.
