Keep driving. Find another place. Rude front desk staff. Poorly cleaned room. Asked for work space as i am here on business. Dealt with a broken desk chair for 3 days and basically did work from the bed(effective for some, not for me). Won’t stay here again.

I had a great two night stay. We stayed here for a few nights for a wedding. Room was comfy and clean and quiet. Room amenities included refrigerator which was nice. Breakfast continental was amazing and each morning had coffee eggs sausage biscuits and gravy fruits oatmeal yogurt waffle stations variety of breads and muffins And more. Very happy with our stay.

Great hotel at a convenient location for those attending a competition in Lake Myrtle Park with a Wal-Mart nearby. Clean rooms with a microwave and fridge as well as comfortable beds. What made this hotel 4 stars instead of 3 was the breakfast which was hot and fresh everyday from a selection of fruits and waffles to oatmeal and eggs. Nice staff, would definitely stay here again if in the area.

A+ experience! Staff is amazingly kind, helpful and welcoming. Continental breakfast was great! Clean rooms. Definitely recommend! – I am editing my review to 5 stars: after checking out, we were sitting in the car, ready to go, when a housekeeping staff member ran out to our car with my daughter’s beloved purple dolphin doll, which she had accidentally left behind. Amazing! What a kind woman and a great hotel experience! Awesome!!!

Disgusted at the heartless customer service from Paige. Booked a room by mistake as family rushing in to auburndale area to be at bedside of cancer patient who needs urgent help. called to cancel a few hours after booking and they refused to help. I travel all the time and stay in best westerns– and this woman’s behavior was not anywhere close to the standards of the hotel chain. We expect to be traveling back and forth to the area a lot in months to come and the experience w Paige reflects very poorly on this property.

My family and I were very pleased during our stay in Best Western Auburndale for the 2 nights we just stayed for our Legoland adventure. Access to highways is quick and the hotel is conveniently located close by. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and reasonably priced. The breakfast has lot of variety, scrambled egg, boiled egg, pastries, waffle machine, fruits, etc. Fresh coffee is available 24⁄7 and is truly Gourmet. Will definitely stay again.

So we decided to take the little one to LEGOLAND on today, but did not want to wake up ridiculously early to leave from Tampa in order to get there when they opened. In researching hotels in the area, I saw that there wasn’t much around LEGOLAND(and today’s trip confirmed that), so I consulted Unilocal(and trip advisor, and ) for suitable lodging in other areas. Enter Auburndale, Florida, which took us somewhat by surprise. I blindly decided this was the best place for us, and we hopped in the minivan and headed on down. I must admit that I was somewhat nervous on the way down, especially since there wasn’t a picture of the place(I must apologize because I meant to take some, but forgot), and my Best Western experiences(in 3 different states) have been inconsistent. I felt much better as we arrived! The lobby was nice, the room was big, quiet(except for my 4 year old), quite nice and clean, the pool was nice, and the whole property was clean and in good condition from what I saw. The staff was also friendly and even provided a list of local restaurants along with her personal opinion & recommendations(along with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, which I smelled from outside in the pool). There was a hot breakfast in the morning with eggs, sausage, yogurt, pancakes, cereals, breads, etc, and it was good. The drive to the park was around 20 mins, and we saw other families from this hotel there. The town(Auburndale) itself had a lot of stores & restaurants of various diverse tastes. I would definitely recommend this place if going to LEGOLAND, as its close enough, nice, and reasonably priced in a spot with enough to keep you occupied the night before and/or after.

Great little hotel for a great price! We went to Legoland for the weekend(it’s about $ 15 minutes away). Because all the theme parks gouge it’s customers with ticket prices, we wanted to find a nice yet inexpensive hotel. This one was perfect! It was clean, had a nice lobby and was quiet. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They didn’t have a cheap continental breakfast; it was full on with cereals, pastries, breads, eggs and meats. It’s in a small, sleepy town so all the locals were very friendly as well. Just a warning: if you use your GPS to get here it may lead you to the wrong place. Both the Google Maps and Waze apps had no idea where the hell it was. Great little place if you ever need to stay in the area. And the only reason I think you have to would be because of Legoland because there ain’t nothin’ else out here.

Probably the nicest Best Western I have stayed at, although it is probably because this one is less than a year old and therefore new enough to not be run down and smelly. It was clean and the rooms were decent sized and besides $ 15 for a cot, incompetent staff and a group of sugar-crazed little league players my stay was very pleasant.

Nice, clean, not too expensive. In the middle of a bunch of chain shopping and restaurants – not too much in the way of local variety, but there’s good access to grocery stores, etc. Nice, but small, pool. Room came with an internet-enabled computer – I had my laptop, so didn’t use it. Wireless signal tragically bad.
