Forrest was 5 stars in every aspect of our purchase process. We were purchasing a second home from out of state and were completely unfamiliar with the Auburn market. Forrest gently but persuasively steered us away from some potentially bad and naïve decisions to a home that fit our budget, was in great shape, and in a wonderful neighborhood. He worked tirelessly on our behalf, was very responsive to our needs, knew the market inside and out, and was just a joy to work with in general. Would highly recommend him.

HORRIBLE. Terrible customer service. I had a problem with my rent payment and Beverly in the office was EXTREMELY RUDE when I went to straighten it out. I would not recommend using them.

I rented from Porter Properties for 1 year while finishing graduate school. I was appalled at the filthy condition of the house when I moved in. There was rotting food in the fridge and dishwasher. There was a barbecue like substance on the shelves and floor in the pantry. Spider webs and bugs covered the windows and corners. The roof was leaking and there was water damage in the living room. Also, the dryer did not work and the locks all needed to be replaced. I documented the condition with many pictures and called them to have everything corrected. They were quick to fix the roof, but never came in to clean the apartment or even apologized for the poor condition. I purchased a steam cleaner and took days to clean everything thoroughly before moving in. At move– out time, I was charged for cleaning of the unit and replacement of items that were broken when I moved in. The office staff was rude and inconsiderate throughout the whole process. I will warn friends and family in the area to never rent from this group.
