Loved the burgers here. Nothing fancy but if you love burgers, then this is #1 in town. Maybe the whole state.

The burger was so good! The fries were pretty good too! But it’s a little pricey, about 9 – 10 dollars for a combo. But I think it’s worth the price since it’s delicious and you’re supporting a local company.

Solid huge burger. Great huge potatoey steak fries. Everything is cooked fresh to order. Decent prices. Super filling meal.

Wow, just wow. The best burger I’ve had in a long time. Initially, I had an error with my order. The staff was so friendly and made it right immediately. The burger was really outstanding. I hate to say it, but even better than my own. This place will definitely go into our rotation.

Heard about their burgers and particularly the size. So we were compelled to try it. I have to say on arrival we were a little leery walking in it was more of a roadside diner feel. It wasn’t real busy when we went in but traffic picked up which was a good sign. Several people picking up orders to go maybe called in by phone. Everyone was very friendly as we came in and again as we left. And its an clean well lit space. The kitchen is definitely open to view and when I asked the cashier about a burger and to explain the special more, the cook lifted a burger from the flat top griddle to show me the size. The menu is pretty limited but that’s a good thing for this place since the kitchen is small and you are really going for the fresh ground beef any ways. The burgers were big and though I was advised to not get a double i did and we had plenty to take unfinished. My overall experience was very satisfying but I think my wife was expecting a nicer place. On the bright side, she doesn’t usually like hamburgers at all, and she did like this one and said it tasted almost like ours at home, and ate what was leftover the next day at home. Certainly I would go back there versus a fast food burger the next time I get a major burger craving.

These folks are doing everything right! Fresh ground beef on a hot griddle to order with hot ample amounts of delicious fries. This is an old school burger joint that all should experience but not until 12 noon, because I eat at 11am!

Solid burger and meal. It is what is is, it’s a burger joint and a good one at that. Looking for something more, you’ll be disappointed. But place is always busy and you can wait up to 15 min to order, but worth it.

It was the lunch rush when we went and I hate waiting but was amazed at how fast our order was taken and delivered. Great burger, was glad I ordered a single as it was huge. Tasty fries too. The ice machine was down that day so the tea was warm, otherwise would be five stars.

Really good(and big) burgers and nicely cooked thick fries. Personally, I have trouble justifying spending $ 10 on a burger, but if the prices don’t scare you away it’s definitely worth checking out.

Tried a cheeseburger last week with fries. The fries were very good(thick cut) and soft. The cheeseburger was flavorful. The thin bun got very mushy due to the sauce they use. Atmosphere was very casual and the price was fair.

Excellent burger, cooked when ordered. Fresh toppings including good, strong onions. Fries are large and crispy. $ 6.00 for the burger. Top 5 in Alabama that I have had…

Standout burgers and broasted-potato-type fries. I’m sure they have other delicious foods, but OHMAHGOSHTHEBURGERS. I’ve started *craving* their food. Compared to the sea of restaurants with overly ambitious menus where everything comes off mediocre, Sheila C.‘s nails it with consistently quality food. It’s not fancy because it doesn’t need to be. I love the location because we don’t have to brave the downtown traffic/parking/construction. The service is quite good — hospitable. A great addition to Auburn restaurants.

This is the best burger in town. Yes, better than Acre, better than Niffer’s or Mugshots, better than any chain. And certainly better than that one burger I tried at a chicken fingers restaurant(which will remain nameless) that boasted to have the«best burger in town» on its marquee, which I might actually deem as the worst burger in town. This is not to criticize those other hamburgers. This is about the hamburger offered at Shelia C’s Burger Barn. It is a burger without pretention, and a burger that does not pander. The patty is juicy and cooked well(not overdone and/or dry). It contains the basic condiments that are well balanced and compliment the patty rather than mask it. All the flavors blend together nicely, and the burger holds together, literally and figuratively, to the final bite. Upon finishing my meal I felt satisfied and filled, not regretful or resentful. In the midst of eating this hamburger I knew that I wanted to eat it again and again and again. If money, time, and my body would allow, I would eat this burger every day. It will be a burger that I talk about when eating other burgers of lesser stature. It will be a burger that I will long for when I am no longer a resident of this town.

Ok, went back for a second time and it was even better food and service. The owner even came out to ask if everything tasted alright. This place is probably going to be my favorite burger joint in Auburn now. I just wished they were located downtown.

Good solid burgers give you no reason to settle for fast food. Thick fries are great and the meat is thick and actually reached to the ends of a large bun. Only complaint is the Crimson Tide thirty the cashier is wearing. But in the sprint of good food it’s a fault that can be overlooked. Basic drinks. Sweet tea knocks your socks off but that is the south. Come sit a spell. Drive up window as well.

HUGE burgers. Don’t just come hungry, you’d better be ready to eat a cow! Such good, juicy burgers and super thick cut, yummy fries. Everyone is so nice here and service is fast!

This is a hole in the wall burger joint with straight up delicious burgers. Don’t go here for the«vibe», ambience, or whatever you want to call it. Go here if you want juicy, freshly ground burgers with a special touch — not special sauces to cover up poor quality meat or over salted fries to dull your tastes, but an «mmm good» burger and fries that won’t break the bank, but will leave you feeling satisfied. I hope this becomes an Auburn icon and can stick around for a while.

Nothing but old fashioned goodness. The burgers are fresh and the fries large. I had the cheeseburger combo, my wife had the ham and cheese, and my daughter had the hot dog with cheese. There were no leftovers! This place is simple and to the point, and I love that the owner came out to ask how«supper» tasted.
