Phone Repair & Screen Protection

Took my I-​phone here for a glass screen protector, and they broke my new phone case while putting on the screen protector. No replacement offered. Phone handed back to me in broken case. Also, The glass screen protector has a funny line at the top, like it was pulled off one or twice before sticking it down. $ 30 for a broken phone case and a funky screen protector. Don’t use this kiosk service.

My son dropped his iPhone 5c and cracked the screen so I called around to find a reasonable price for replacing the screen even though Amazon carries the kit for a reasonable price. I chose iFix in the Auburn Outlet Collection mall because it was convenient and recommended by an employee at the mall. The replacement plus labor and taxes was $ 110 for a 30 minute repair. There is a disclaimer on the receipt regarding damage, the owner put this in place to aviod any responsibility to the customer. While checking around I found several places that offer a 30 day warranty on parts… I advise anyone to pay a few dollars extra for this because less than a week later, with a schock resistant case and screen protector another crack appeared with no damage from a drop or other accident. I called to ask for a new screen and the owner denied any liability for the part. I would not recommend this company unless you find an iFix franchise that offers the warranty. DO NOT GO TO THE KIOSK IN AUBURN OUTLET COLLECTION MALL!
