Longhorn Barbecue catered my daughters graduation party over the weekend. The preparation on the front side of the event, combined with the execution of running the event itself was really top notch, clear, easy and affordable. The quality of the food was also very good and have received several compliments from the guests. I would recommend Longhorn anytime to anyone who needs an event catered. Super easy people to work with and they go the extra mile to make sure everything is smooth.

We haven’t been here since 2013. I’m not sure why we haven’t been back because… back in 2013 I gave this place 5 stars. Back we go again today for Mother’s Day. 5 stars it is again! 6 of us this time, same exceptional food, service, ambience. For families, it’s so very economical. Go to this place if you haven’t, it’s worth it.

Great Happy Hour with barbecue ribs and the food and company of Bartender Ashley is the best. She doubles as the Bouncer, a Hardcore fitness fanatic and MMA trained skills and DJ keeping the country music playing Loud and the Cowboys under control! A Well Rounded Asset to this Bar. Ate, drank and partied with her and friends Saturday night. Good time had by all. I’ll be Back. Can’t go wrong with any of the barbecue plates. Thanks for a great time Ashley while on the road from So Cal.

Stopped in for some lunch before work. Very enjoyable service from a very friendly bartender, Art. Enjoyed the Maverick with chicken and ribs. Very tasty. Will be back for more.

Came in despite the shaky reviews about three minutes before they were about to close(Google lists hours as closing at midnight when in fact, they close at 10pm). I was really in luck that their customer service was top notch, and they allowed me to order even when they were two minutes to closing. Best thing about the restaurant was my waitress Dawnette, who was no less than a superstar and would have merited this restaurant getting 5 stars on her own. Great things about this restaurant: –Waitress DAWNETTE; –open fairly late for the area(10pm weekdays/midnight weekends); –great pork ribs and bbq sauce(not dry in the least-flavorful and non greasy); –delicious homemade butter/garlic/chive mix on the potatoes and bread; –authenticity of the restaurant; –live music; –baked potato and soup; Good things about the restaurant: –Baked beans were great but a little sweet for my taste; –Potato salad had a little too much mustard; I came in so late, I didn’t get a chance to try the garlic mashed potatoes or cornbread(boo!) Would definitely recommend this restaurant over Famous Dave’s. Famous Dave’s food is ALWAYS dry and more a bar for watching games than an authentic bbq restaurant. I am a little disappointed that since their remodel, they no longer feature the dueling pianos. i came in again and was amazed to have Dawnette and Michael jordan, the super cool and professional service team once again. This time i came in early enough to try the cornbread and garlic mashed potatoes(which are so good they should be illegal!) Cornbread, potatoes and even more of same amazing service were more than enough to deserve a one star upgrade from 4 to 5 stars!

Despite getting bad reviews from other families with our team, We had a solid dinner here. Longhorn was open late. we ordered sandwich pulled pork sliders and the longhorn special brisket sandwich. My daughter and I enjoyed all beans, salads and bbq sauces. Judging by the families with small children in all the booths that surrounded us, Texas Longhorn pours very strong alcoholic beverages. Lucky toddlers Mom and Dad will be asleep early tonight. Toddlers gone wild! When in Auburn Wa try Texas Longhorn. I think it’s worth exploring

The service was great. Very friendly bartender and server. The food… wasn’t so great. We ordered the rustler for two, it was a lot of food for two people. I was really looking forward to some bomb ribs but that I didn’t get. They were really dry. I had to dip it in bbq sauce to finish it. :/The sides were good and the butter that came with the cornbread was yummy. The drinks weren’t strong, but they were good too. The restaurant was really empty for a Friday night with only a few people in the bar. I almost didn’t want to go inside. I really wish the best for this business and the nice employees but I probably won’t be back.

*** An Unauthorized Double Tipping *** First time customer eating at Longhorn BBQ in Auburn, Washington. I loved their ‘Happy Hours’ and looks like a pretty good place to hang out after work. And not to mention about the wonderful waitress, the only thing is after done eating the bill is about $ 37.00 and I marked 0(zero) in the tip section and gave her $ 10 cash for the tips. After I got home, looking into my banking account I noticed an extra $ 5 added on top of the $ 37.00. It’s not much, but just a little bit of mind boggling since I marked 0(zero), and only authorized the charge of $ 37.00. In addition, I sent an email using their email provided on the company’s website, but no one responded. Not sure if they’ll get my business again. Thanks for reading.

So disappointed about the food here. The only thing I enjoyed was potato salad and corn bread. The rest was just horrible. I ordered BBQ pork spare ribs and my friends ordered burger, smoke turkey avocado wrap. The corn bread was good that made us expect some good dishes coming but ended up with disappointment. The food came out pretty quickly. The wrap was dry, had no flavor, just completely blank. The BBQ pork was dry and very chewy. The knife can’t cut through it and it tasted not as good. The first time I’ve seen my roommate cannot finish a regular wrap. He’s not a picky guy like me but he showed the unpleasant. He ate less than half the wrap and tried to push the rest to us and we did the same thing with our food. Just wanted to get out of the restaurant and eat somewhere else.

My son’s 21st birthday weekend and we went in for some BBQ. I was in a fairly foul mood before going in. Our server asked how we were doing and I said good, but changed in mid-sentence and said that was a lie and I was having a terrible day. I’m not sure exactly what she said, but she said, she hoped it would get better. I order the full rack, which was great. She brought out plenty of napkins and wet naps. I will eat here again for sure.

I always drive by here and finally hubby and I went last weekend. It’s very mediocre in my opinion. Food was a tad overpriced, it was fine food, just a wee bit spendy for what you get. Service was excellent, we were on the slightly early but not that early dinner side for a Saturday. It was very clean and the wait people were doing a good job of keeping things clean, not just chatting when they had nothing to do. Not sure we’ll be back but now I know what it looks like inside.

Chili 101. Texas red chili DOESNOTHAVEBEANS. So I don’t know what this chili flavored concoction was that you fed me, but it was mediocre and certainly not Texas red. So minus the first star. For dinner I had the pulled pork sandwich. I found the pork slightly dry but ok overall, nothing to write home about but well seasoned edible once bbq sauce was applied. Go ahead and skip the baked beans, they were pretty flavorless, yet overly sweet at the same time. As for the potato salad, it wasn’t bad, just your run of the mill tater salad. Toss on a little salt and pepper and it wasn’t half bad. That’s it for this meal. Overall 3 stars.

Review for Catering only!** Not sure why this place has bad reviews but maybe their dine in meals are different from catering. I ordered catering here for a company event last week and it was great. They delivered the food 15 mins early which is always better than being late. The delivery guy was also very nice and he set up all the food at the event before he left. And everyone enjoyed the food. It was for 30 – 35 people and we had plenty of leftovers. It was also a breeze to order catering from them. They communicated well over emails and phone calls. My favorite food item was the coleslaw, cornbread and the barbecued sausages. They also offer a vegetarian burger to those who can eat meat. I recommend this place for catering!

This was our second time coming here. We try to give places another shot if it was less than ideal. I grew up in a restaurant and have compassion for owners and servers, that’s why I try a place twice before making a judgement. Goodness was it bad. The service was not that great. Our server stuck her thumb in the butter and flung the butter on her thumb to the floor and didn’t get us a new one. That’s just gross. The food is a tad better then grade school cafeteria lunch. The brisket was very dry with little flavor, the chicken was so dry it would get stuck in my throat and I’d have to take a drink of water to get it down. All the sides we barely touched because they just tasted out of a can or tub. My side green salad was the only thing I really ate. We basically just gave up and left the food there. If you’re going to charge those prices for BBQ at least figure how to cook it well and put your own flare on the sides if you can’t make them from scratch. I have no problem paying for good food, but this has got to be the worst dinner we had since we moved to Washington and we’ve been here a year. I hope it picks up for you, because it looks like I’m not the only one who was unhappy with our food.

I don’t think I was getting a good value here. I ordered the Maverick. One side(coleslaw) and a small generic piece of corn bread. With this meal you get two meats. The German sausage was good but the chicken was very dry. The coleslaw was very good, just could have used more.

I had to create a Unilocal account just to recount my experience there this past weekend. We were staying at the Best Western right next to this place for the Tough Mudder event that was going on. We went here for our dinner before the race. So gross. Between the 4 of us we ordered Nachos, 2 orders of wings, a caesar salad, a burger, and some chicken lettuce wraps. I would not recommend a single thing we ate. Not only that but 2 servers were verbally arguing right next to our table and one threatened the other with a «do you want to take this outside?» The food: Nothing had been made at the same time. The nachos must have been sitting out for at least 10 minutes before the rest of the food was. The colour of the squeeze cheese was horrifying and it had already formed skin on it. The pulled pork was dry and the rest was somehow super oily. The chicken lettuce wraps had wilted lettuce and were nothing more than chicken salad sandwich filler scooped with an ice cream scoop onto said wilted lettuce. The wings were… fine I guess? The burger had 2 sad strips of bacon on it which were clearly of the 5 second microwave variety and were also the only hot thing we received. Can’t speak to the salad as I refused to try it when my friend offered but her suggestion to «try this this is so nasty» leaves me thinking it wasn’t worth it. Our server was fine if super awkward but was unsettling was the two female servers yelling at each other. While the restaurant was fairly empty, that is still no excuse. It was uncomfortable. One of the two servers who was in the fight came to clear the table next to us after another party left and the other one came over. They then continued to argue right next to our table. No concern for service or professionalism at all. We talked another group in our hotel out of going to this place and I hope some of the reviews here can help others skip the nasty food and terrible service we received. Makes for a good story though.

I think the attraction is the free HH spread that comes at a certain time. Nothing special, but it can be a super inexpensive afternoon. Beer and pig parts. There is a large seating area, with lots of bar stools and communal tables. It’s dark inside and it’s just a quick stopping place on the way to other places.

We must not have very good BBQ in this area, for people to like this place. I’ve waited for years to come to this place, and it unfortunately didn’t really live up to my expectations, I really wanted to like it. Let me start with the good; the decoration, design, and atmosphere are perfect! There is plenty of seating, and would be great for larger groups. As for the food, the brisket was about the only good thing that they had. Now for the not so good. We got there, and no one was anywhere around, there was only one other couple eating, we waited some more, and finally someone came to seat us. We ordered a chicken wing appetizer, and it was pretty good, but our server never gave us wipes, or napkins, with chicken wings swimming in BBQ sauce. We got both our appetizer and, our meal very fast. The ribs were ok, not the best, just ok. The Chicken was SO dry, I was not happy with it at all. They have the WORST, and I mean the WORST potato salad that I’ve ever had, EVER, yuck… The beans were heavy, but good, and the fries, and onion rings taste like they came from a box. The brisket however was pretty good, I liked it a lot. This place was basically fast food quality, in a restaurant setting. I don’t give two star ratings often, but I really was not impressed. Well, at least we don’t have to wonder if this place is good or not anymore, it’s not. I wouldn’t recommend it… OH, and they give the kids crayons with Discover credit card logos on them; I’m sorry, but I don’t think that advertizing credit cards to kids is ok, especially while just trying to eat out.
