First time here for a haircut w/​shampoo & style. Jenn was awesome! Very personable, and I love my new bob! I made my next appt before I left the salon.

I actually joined Unilocal so that I could write a review of this place.
I am a middle-​aged woman who has lived in a lot of different places (two states, 8 – 10 cities), and I will say without any hesitation that the haircut I received from Tamie at First Impressions was the best haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life! Before she started, she and I sat and discussed what I wanted, what my goals were for the haircut (ease of care, whether I was in the professional world or working retail, etc.), and then she looked very closely at my hair type, the coloring jobs I had had done earlier, my face shape, etc.
What I ended up with was a color that looks natural, a haircut that is not only easy to take care of but looks amazing, and a hairstyle that works with what my hair naturally wants to do and still looks great.
Please note that I did not write this review until after having gone back two more times for haircuts to see if the first time was a fluke. It is not! Tamie continues to take excellent care of me, and my hair continues to look wonderful.
It’s a nice, big, clean facility in a convenient Auburn location as well.

I’ve been going here for years now. I have yet to get a bad hair cut there and everyone is always super friendly. Jen is AWESOME! I moved here a few years ago, tried a few different salons, and was referred here by a friend. I’ve been very pleased ever since my first visit. The prices are competitive.
