I would like to share my issue I had with Best Shape of Your Life, the first time I did go on-line to rsvp, I put myself down for a Wednesday(me and a friend) and when we got there it was closed and we called and were told we got placed in a Saturday class by mistake on Best Shape of Your Life’s side, with out us even knowing(so i drove 25 – 30 min for nothing and my friend over an hour) and I have a 4-year old I have to take somewhere else to be taken care of and now I had to come back on Saturday. ok, well Saturday we showed up and there was no issues that day. Today 2÷9÷2011, I did go on-line and rsvp for today, I get there and the instructor tells me, «where is my friend» well my friend was not coming, I don’t know, I don’t live with her or even close to her. Well since my friend did not show up and I was the only person in the class, she could not teach me, and my friend should have told her she was not coming. Now me as a customer and my friend are two different paying customers and it was rude and not professional that she told me I could not be taught alone and I had to leave, again I had to take my son somewhere for no reason. I paid already and rsvp myself and I got denied service because no one else showed up. Now I did hear about this place on Living Socials and got a refund after i called and told them what happen, I don’t plan on going back to Best Shape of your life and it was rude and not professional.

I get bored easily with workouts and love trying new things to push my fitness. If this sounds like you, then you should give Best Shape of Your Life a try! I found out about this studio through LivingSocial(love it!) and decided I couldn’t pass up on 3 pole dancing workout classes for $ 18. I was hesitant at first but thankfully a friend joined me because we both ended up having the best arm workout ever! Many people take pole dancers for granted because all they think is that it involves«dancing» sexily around a pole. Well, when you look at it from an acrobatic/fitness standpoint, it takes A LOT of upper strength to do all the cool tricks. Anyway, to the point here. Instructors are great and really really care about helping you learn the moves. The classes were an hour long and they offer a variety of different classes. Go to the website to check it out. I was super sore after my first class and can honestly say I noticed my arms getting more toned after my third class. Downfall: Spring is a far drive from Katy :-( Give it a shot if you like trying new unique things to improve your fitness! Who knows, you may be a natural-born pole dancer ;-)
