Pulled off the highway driving from Boston back home to NY and we found this little gem. Food was fresh and tasty. Grilled salmon was perfectly cooked and was clearly fresh fish. Fish and chips were also yummy — big portion and made from fresh fish. Ambiance was nice and wait staff were friendly. This may become a go-to place on our next NY-Boston road trip.

The food was fair at best, and the service wasn’t much better. Not much positive at all.

Pretty solid pub with good food a variety of brews and good service. Have been here 3 – 4 times in the last few months and expect to return. Pretty much what you want and expect from a Pub.

Friendly little pub. I had the clam chowda in a bread bowl and it was so good I had a second one. Traditional New England with lots of clams and potato. Waitress was friendly and attentive.

Stopped on the way to Fenway for our daughters birthday. It was the restaurant’s birthday too! Service was excellent, food very good and dessert was great too! Will stop by again.

The spinach and artichokes eggs rolls were fantastic so naturally I had high expectations for the meal. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad with no chicken. When I took a bite I was very unpleasantly surprised by what they described on the menu as a «sweet sauce» that was just an overly salty soy sauce. The lack of ambiance that the outside and inside both have is a perfect match for the food.

Very good food and service. Good prices. The only complaint was our table was sticky and dirty and it got on our clothes.

We ate here twice & thought the food was good & very reasonably priced. The service was excellent & our meals came out quickly which we appreciated. I had swordfish the first night — it was a bit dry but tasted ok. The second night I had baked haddock — it was good. I really liked the side orders of vegetables.

This was not our(my wife and I) first time at Bentley Pub, but it was unfortunately our worst experience. On average during our past visits we would rate them either a high 3 to a solid 4. This time… not so much. We were seated by a very pleasant hostess. Our server J*** came over and took our drink order and then our food order when she brought our drinks. We ordered off of their special Monday night 2 for $ 20 menu: one app, two meals and one dessert. It is a limited menu but offers something of everyone. Our appetizer of honey bbq chicken strips came and had poppy seeds on it. My wife cannot eat poppy seeds. Once we were able to flag down our waitress, nearly 5 minuted later, she offered us salads as a replacement. Only once I asked about a different sauce did she say that was an option. While waiting for our replacement app, our meals came followed immediately by our app. Our entrees included some of the most greasy fried seafood either of us had ever had. We may have commented on this but by time we saw our server again we were pretty much done. Now I do have to say that both orders of chicken tenders and the extremely large hot fudge brownie sundae our special included very very good. The dessert could easily have fed four adults. We are giving this visit 2 stars. It could have been 5 but we took off 1 star for the greasy seafood. We are also taking off 2 stars for extremely poor service by our waitress, which was reflected in her tip. Just because someone comes in and orders soda and your $ 20 special, doesn’t mean that the quality of your service should change. And maybe if she spent more time with her customers and less time chatting at the hostess station, this could improve. All that being said, based on our previous experiences, we will be back.

I can’t believe that this place only has 2.5 stars. I had an excellent experience here. I came flying in at 9:40pm(they close at 10:00). I sat at the bar; I was the only person in the place(it was a Monday night). They were very nice, took great care of me, kept my Sam Adams full, and I had the best fish and chips EVER in this place. I will absolutely hit this place up again when in the area.

Food is food. Ordered the pork loin special — was surprised by the overlooked fried pork cutlets that were smothered in some raspberry goo. Salad was good. Partner had the surf and turf — he says it was good. So two stars… Bar prices seem high as well.

The food here is nothing special but it’s solid. The meatloaf, steak tips and pulled pork tacos are the 3 staple meals I get here. The place could use a little updating. On Wednesdays the have a great special, .50 cent shrimp cocktail which are decent in size.

Popcorn salty and burnt and ritz crackers with cheese mixed with egg and mayonnaise? Décor is same as Picadily’s. you would think they would put down new carpet but they kept the same grungy dirty one. Basically, same menu with different name on front that advertises July 2013. It’s July 25, 2013 and wondering if its managed by the same Pic people going with the status quo of running it the same way. Why is Pic gone? Food, décor and poor service? Are they destined the same fate as the Pic? Restaurant Impossible needed big time! Corn bread came out frozen, steak bland, not seasoned and marinated in water I’m sure. The flys add a special touch, no wonder the waitress kept asking if I was done every 3 minutes. I pulled off the highway to get a meal with my family only because it was halfway between Six Flagg and home. Next time I’ll stop somewhere elsewhere.

Great place to go if you’re in the area, though there really aren’t too many other options other than fast food. Very much like what the 99 restaurant tries to be. They serve unlimited popcorn and ritz with pub cheese, the food was also great and the portions were huge. We sat at a table in the bar, but there is also a separate dining room. All around good experience.
