Auburn Nails

I had been going to this nail salon off and on for the past 8 years. I went last week for a lip wax. I had never had any issues before, but the very next day, my whole upper lip and around the sides started looking red, patchy, and dry. A couple days later, it looks really bad and a dermatologist said it could be a bacterial infection and asked if I had done anything to my skin recently. I mentioned the lip wax and it was suggested that the wax could have been the cause. It’s concerning considering I had no issues at this place before. It makes me wonder about the hygienic standards of this facility. I’ve been getting my lip waxed for years and have never had a reaction like this anywhere until now. Once is enough for me never to patron this business again.

I was spending Christmas break at my friends place and I was driving around for a last minute gift for her. I procrastinate a lot. Haha. But, after I was done, I had extra time and decided I should go get a manicure. Found this salon after a few minutes of roaming around. Went inside and I was blown away with how awesome this place is. Every inch of this salon is very clean. The techs working here are really sociable and friendly. The nail tech working on my nails was really professional. She removed the cuticles without causing me to bleed and cut my nails evenly. After she was done with all that, she listen to all my requests on painting on my nails. The end results is just… WOW! I was really speechless. I’ll definitely come back here next year! Highly recommend this salon if you live in the area! You won’t regret it!

I go to Auburn Nails regularly for my gel manicure. I love that I can walk in without an appt and get everything done nicely and efficiently at a good price. Everyone on staff is friendly and hard working. It is not the prettiest salon, but it is clean and that’s all I need.

I tried Auburn Nails after reading the Unilocal.This salon is an amazing place!!! It’s an upscale spa with trend colors, professional skills and attentive services. Its all about client contentment and sanitation. The ladies here are so polite and sweet. A girl led me to a chair and provided me with hot tea and hot neck pillows to help me relaxing. This girl is also my technician. She got my manicures done and helped me pick color for my nails. I was really interested in collection of gel. All of them are beautiful in my eyes. They did my nails well with a process in cutting and painting polish color. Love my manicure color. I highly recommend this place for their great service and fair price.

My friend and I appreciate and look forward to really good, relaxing pedicures. We have spent years together searching for a good nail place — our search has spanned from Elk Grove to Auburn. We were so happy to find Auburn Nails, as they have never cheated us on a wonderful and relaxing massage/​pedicure. The staff is always very friendly. We bring our friends and family here when we want to relax and get our toes pampered. I am so surprised to see the negative reviews posted here because we have found Auburn Nails to consistently be the best place around for an awesome pedicure!

I’m alway’s happy with the Pedicure they give me and the polish alway’s look great. There are alot of gal’s in there who are regulars and seem to be enjoying their hand & nail experiences they are getting. Staff is very pleasant and friendly. I will keep going here because of the wonderful staff.

I would give this business ZERO STARS if allowed by Unilocal.I came here to get a nail fill on Saturday, April 19, and I LEFT IN TEARS. A female employee CUT ME SEVERAL TIMES with the electric filing drill and filed my nails all different lengths. Now I have to worry about infection! And, for some reason, she was completely rushed (there was only one customer waiting for service!) I ended up having to drive 30 minutes to a nail salon in Roseville immediately after to have them fix my nails. I WILL NEVER COME BACK! Shame on you, Auburn Nails! Please don’t come to this business — you will regret it!

I have only had a few pedicures in my life (I am a dude) but this place is awesome. Very friendly and attentive. The other ladies getting their nails done seemed to be regulars and their interations with the staff showed genuine fondness. And, my normally gross toe nails look great. The owners are very sweet.

This place does not sanitize their tools. They wash them in a sink with hand soap. I went there last week and it was pretty busy… Luckily I saw this practice before I let her trim my cuticles. So basically I paid $ 30 for a polish change and a weak leg massage. Like the previous reviewer, she didn’t even remove all the polish from my last pedi… and since I chose a soft pink color you can actually see the dark polish from my last pedi through the soft pink. ??? And there were HUGE bubbles in the polish. And they charge $ 30??? Incredible. They were very nice and they seems to have a busy business… but I left there and went and got another pedicure the next day from a place that I know sanitizes their equipment.

What a horrific experience. They destroyed my nails.

Went in to get my eyebrowns waxed, the lady was on the phone and motioned me to follow her. She finish one brow and she remained on the phone, talking away. The only reason why she got off was because she dropped some hot wax in the corner of my eye! NO customer service! That was horrible!

Pedicure was FANTASTIC! Wow, so relaxing massage and i loved the salt scrub, my skin was so soft after!
My Manicure was ok i guess… it was french and it started flaking off after 2 days… they usually last at least 4 days on me…

Clean and friendly. I’ve had manicures that have lasted longer, but overall I thought they had reasonable prices and a nice staff.
