We got married here a couple weeks ago and I’m still smiling about how perfect it was. Rachel and the whole staff did such an amazing job. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. We had about 85 – 90 people there for the service and the reception and the size was perfect. I didn’t add any decorations in the chapel because it really doesn’t need anything. It’s beautiful just the way it is. And for centerpieces we just used some of their stuff. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I would definitely recommend getting married here.

I had my wedding at Harmony Chapel last year. The chapel is BEAUTIFUL! The reception area is very nice for a small(ish) wedding and the staff is extremely flexible during the planning process. The food is actually very good compared to other standard wedding food(think: grilled chicken and sides). The venue provides linens, nice white chairs and vases, candles and other décor options. Harmony Chapel is BYOB so that saves a LOT of money compared to other venues. My only complaint about my experience with Harmony would be my coordinator. she was extremely sweet and attentive during the process but the day of my wedding, things did not go as planned. I brought many of my own decorations and had very specific instructions on where I wanted everything to go. We even did a walk through the night before. When I arrived for my wedding about an hour before the ceremony, nothing was set up. I did not have time to check everything before the ceremony and, once the reception started, most of my décor was not in the right place. The worst part was, my parents’ table was back against the wall while my in-laws were in the front. I had given specific instructions on where to put each table(in the front on either side of the dance floor) but, even if I had not given specific instructions, who would think to put the bride’s parents in the back against a wall? Further, we didn’t see her much throughout the night and, at one point, we had a question for her and my husband had to search for her. I assumed that she would be around in case something came up. All in all, I think Harmony Chapel is a GREAT and beautiful venue and I would recommend it to other brides.

Harmony Chapel is absolutely beautiful. I can not say that enough. Jason, the owner, is fantastic. He has a lot of experience, has seen it all, and is very open to your ideas. In my search for a venue this was definitely the most laid back in terms of fully realizing your ideas(on décor, order of events, etc). This venue is perfect if you’re the kind of bride who is looking for a place to include a lot of different things and don’t plan on adding too many details yourself. They have a lot of decorations to choose from and also have their staff set and and break down. You won’t find any hidden fees here– linens, flatware, chairs, tables, etc– everything really is included. I will also say that this place is great for a bride who wants to be a little more hands on– which I was. I had what seemed to be fairly elaborate ideas for décor– all of which we brought in the day before the wedding at the rehearsal, which was a really wonderful thing. That way we didn’t have anything to worry about the day of. Harmony was so so great about taking all of our decorations and setting it all up perfectly. They even went one step further and improved on some of the set up, which I really appreciated. It was so beautiful! Everything ran so smoothly during the wedding. Rachel was our coordinator and she did a lovely job moving everything forward during the reception. Harmony includes a wedding coordinator. The person you meet during your planning meeting will not necessarily be the one during your wedding. I will say that if you are planning a lot of extra details or your own décor you should make very detailed notes explaining what you want to hand off at your wedding rehearsal. It will help both of you. That way you can feel good that the coordinator you’re working with will know the specificities of what you want. I did this and Rachel executed everything to a T. Alright, it’s time for the post-wedding update! Book at Harmony Chapel. That’s my advice. All in all, everything was FANTASTIC. Jason, the owner, went over and above every single chance he could, even after the wedding. He was flexible on any issues we had, great at communicating by email(my preference), and the chapel just looked stunning. I couldn’t have imagined somewhere more perfect for us. The beauty of the Chapel and grounds combined with the ability to fully customize everything just made Harmony Chapel the ideal wedding venue. The ONLY hitch that I would comment on was our wedding planner that they provided. A girl named Rainey initially helped us and was great to work with… then when we went to the detail meeting, we met a new girl named Rachelle. She told us she was just now training on being the planner and seemed a little green on a couple of things, but overall very sweet and willing to help. Then at the rehearsal we met Rachel, the girl who would apparently be the planner at the wedding. I’m not sure if all these switches were due to staff turnover or what, but I think it would be helpful to stick with one person and notify the bride if a change was needed. If for no other reason, just for peace of mind in all the wedding planning mayhem. So, if you’re booking, maybe ask for your planners name and request that you stick with them. Other than that, couldn’t have been happier! I’d highly recommend Harmony to any couple looking for a wedding venue. You can cater in, you can bring your own booze, they provide a lot of the basic reception decoration needs(tablecloths, candles, vases, etc.), and they’re flexible to fit your dream wedding. If you’re looking for a wedding to be planned FOR you, then hire a planner privately and bring them with you. If you’re doing most of the details yourself, you’re all set!
