I had a awesome experience at Ruth Chris it was my first time and it won’t be my last. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Our server was great and she helped us a lot with what we should order. I had the ribeye steak it was so good and cooked to perfection I didn’t want it to end. One thing I strongly recommend for drinks is the lemon drop martini it’s sweet but it also has a strong kick to it. I had two and I felt like I was on cloud nine this experience was well worth it can’t wait to go back.

This was our first time at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse and I’m still debating whether I would go back. The steaks were delicious however the service was lacking for a fine dining restaurant. I ordered a medium petite filet Chesapeake style which is basically a filet Oscar, and it was brought out medium rare. The steak was delicious so I didn’t mind, however the potato au gratin was very bland even after a healthy dose of salt and pepper. I made a reservation however when I gave my name at the host stand you could tell it wasn’t in the book. Once we were seated we weren’t greeted for about 15 mins and once we were our server seemed very uncomfortable for whatever reason. What makes the extended wait for someone to greet us even more unprofessional is the fact that we were sitting in a booth at the bar area with two bartenders at an empty bar and none of them so much as said hey your server will be right over. The steaks were good but overall it wasn’t a $ 200 experience.

The food was amazing also the service was amazing. The waitress was really nice she help us how to maneuver the menu. The food is a bit xbut it is worth every dollar. My boyfriend and I went out because it was my pre birthday celebration. We both order the $ 49.95 plan meal. I had the steak and shrimp and it was yummy. I would really recommend this place for a great date night, celebration etc. Not a everyday restaurant I would say.

Second time in and nothing has changed. Had a memorable meal like usual. They fire the filets to your order perfectly. The sides are not ridiculous like mortons. Big fan of all Ruth’s. Never had a bad experience ever.

I would avoid this location. Someone working there who had access to my credit card stole the number and charged up thousands of dollars worth of shoes in Miami. I was in AC for a business trip and this was the only place I used that card. Beware!

I have been here for dinner several times and have never left disappointed. The steak is always cooked perfectly to my liking and the salmon and lobster areal so excellent choices on the menu. For desert, I recommend the chocolate sin cake if you’re a chocolate lover like myself. It’s more like fudge than actual cake but it’s divine!

I have wanted to dine at Ruth’s Chris for a long time. Last evening was the first time. My wife and I go out every year at this time to celebrate that we are back to work(we’re school teachers). I selected this for our annual dinner. Gert is not a huge beef eater, but has taken to ribeyes this summer so she was excited too. We used the complimentary valet parking. They moved my vehicle about 10 feet and parked on a sidewalk. :) We arrived. The hostess had our reservation and asked if we were celebrating anything. It sounded a bit off to ask that, but we didn’t think much of it. We joked about celebrating going back to work. Our booth was next to the kitchen entrance. We always seem to get that table. While there was plenty of foot traffic, we didn’t hear clashing of plates or anything. Frank was our waiter. Frank was okay, although not quite as johnny-on-the-spot as he could have been. Drinks took a little bit as did his initial approach. We did not have wine, yet my wine glass remained on the table all evening. He did welcome us by name, which I thought was a nice touch. He explained the menu well and answered a question we had. I was surprised to see a table tent on our table hawking some special. The décor of the restaurant was nothing memorable. My wife began with lobster bisque, me the carpaccio. Both were good. We each ordered the 22-oz. cowboy ribeye; Gert’s medium with a crab cake, mine medium-rare. When the steaks came out, the waitress that had the table next to us delivered them. She placed the one with the crab cake in front of me. We asked to have them switched(500° plates). When I cut into mine, it was clearly not medium-rare. Gert thought that the steaks were on the wrong plates. While hers looked food, I wasn’t convinced the steak in front of me was medium. There was pink in the center, but not much of it. It was a couple minutes before Frank came over to check on us. When I pointed out the steak, he saw that something was wrong. My wife took the restaurant off the hook and asked to have the steaks switched. They came back out on sizzling hot plates along with the manager. We were okay with the mix-up and suggested that in the end it just looked like they put the crab cake on the wrong plate. Even so, they bought us a round of drinks. Nice touch. .. although it was several minutes before they showed up. The steak was good. There is no doubt about it. A prime ribeye is always good. We had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. The spinach was good, the potatoes not so much. They turned ice cold immediately. We opted for dessert even though we don’t usually. We had seen a banana pie that looked good. Eh. The bananas were good, the crust wasn’t. The cream was so-so. When Frank brought the check, he announced. «Surprise!» We thought he was joking. Then he asked if we knew a certain name he announced. We were confused. After some strange looks, he explained that someone we knew had called in and paid our check for us. Wow! That was certainly a surprise. The gist of it is that the steaks were great. Other menu items were fine. For the price of this adventure, I expect better. I don’t see us rushing out to dine here again.

There’s nothing better than a good steak dinner on a bachelor’s weekend. We made our way to Ruth Chris after a long day. We barely made it in by 11PM. I wasn’t sure how the staff would treat us walking in to a restaurant so late but aside from the slightly rushed nature of service there wasn’t any noticeable attitude/sarcasm for the hostess or the servers. Our server Robert was helpful and although he was ready to go home, he did a good job given how late we got there. Most importantly the food. I’ve had steaks from a variety of quality steakhouses but the steak I had here is near the top of the list. I ordered the $ 59.99 special which comes with an appetizer, entrée w/side and a dessert. It’s a pretty great deal that allows you to create your own complete meal. You have your choice of 4 – 5 appetizers, I went with the spinach salad. It came with bleu cheese crumbles, strawberries, onions with some sort of vinaigrette. It all came together as a flavor explosion and paired well with the draft IPA I ordered. My entrée was a 16oz ribeye with the mushrooms as a side. The sides comes in portions that are shareable. Don’t think giant portions though, they are enough to get everyone a good scoop. As a group we got the mashed potatoes, mushrooms, roasted corn and beans. Everything was really good. My steak came on a sizzling hot plate in butter. I ordered my steak medium and it was cooked just how I wanted. Mostly medium with a little medium rare pieces. My steak was GREAT, it practically melted in my mouth. Seasoned with just salt and pepper, it’s near the top of the list as far as best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Pair with a cab recommended by Robert and it was another great combo. The dessert was a strawberry shortcake and served as the cherry on the top of the meal. All in all I had a really enjoyable experience. We closed the place and literally had what seemed like the rest of the wait staff taking care of our table. Felt like a VIP haha. I’d definitely recommend giving them a shot if you feel like splurging or just happened to do well on the tables.

We had 8:00pm reservations, arrived about 7:45pm and was seated immediately. Our server, Kevin, was very knowledgeable. This was my husband’s first time at Ruth Chris and Kevin explained everything. I knew the deal but watching our server Kevin explain everything with such excitement made my husband’s experience all the more enjoyable. We did not do the special, petite filet mignon and lobster tail for 39.99 nor the 49.99÷59.99 specials because we were there for the steak. My husband had a T-bone and I had a cowboy ribeye, both medium rare, both perfectly cooked. We ordered sides, cream spinach and mashed potatoes. The cream spinach is yummy and great with the steak. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes however, this is why the review has four stars and not five, it was freezing in there. I understand it was about 90 degrees outside and extremely humid but it was so cold inside, the mashed potatoes became cold and rock hard within five minutes. we ordered the calamari, it was awful, it tasted fake/frozen, the best part was the chili dipping sauce. it was greasy and the pieces stuck together. again, because it was so cold, they became really gross and inedible within five minutes. thank goodness for those 500 degree plates, they kept my steak warm until the last bite. last thing, my husband marveled at the décor.

The place was nicely decorated, the service and food was great. Our waiter Kevin was superb with explaining the cuts of meat n how Ruth Chris serves its steak. We had the porterhouse for 2 which I thought was not going to be enough but the server assured us it would. He was correct! The sides were good but could of had more flavor, a tad bland. We had a great meal

I think I just expected more for the money. Walked in(2 people) shortly after 5pm on a Saturday and without reservations the hostess said we could only eat in the lounge. The restaurant was almost completely empty at that moment but OK, fine. It was actually quite nice in the lounge booth. Both of us chose to go with 4-course dinner special $ 59.95. I got the 16oz. ribeye, my guest got the filet and lobster tail. These are MYOPINIONS(not facts) but the rare ordered ribeye had a substantial amount of fat and gristle on it and was VERY black and blue — I noticed another reviewer made the same comment — and the medium well ordered filet was broiled throughout.(No slightly pink center as indicated on the menu). My guest said the lobster tail wasn’t particularly great. The sides were green beans(good, but a bit salty we both felt) and mashed potatoes(very good but very garlicky). The bread for the table was very small. Two small slices of a baguette and two slices of a raisin-nut type bread. We asked for more bread when the entrée was served, but never got it. The waitress apparently realized she forgot and apologized after the meal was over. The strawberry spinach salad had too much dressing on it and was nothing special. I might add that the waitress highly recommended it. The Caesar salad(I didn’t taste it myself) looked about as ordinary as it gets. And the strawberry shortcake desserts were very underwhelming. Basically just one of those supermarket type cake discs brushed with a little orange juice and a dollop of whipped cream and maybe ONE sliced strawberry — three little hard chocolate truffles on the side. Finally, the dinner took about 2 hours, the service was pretty slow. A nice leisurely meal is perfectly fine but after almost two hours and the dessert still yet to be served we informed the waitress we had a show to catch at 8pm. She initially told us that the desserts would be up in just a minute and then 10 minutes later apologized for«a back up in the kitchen». We also had to then heavily flag her down for the check while she was behind the bar chatting with customers. Overall just OK. If this were Ruby Tuesdays(across the street) I probably would have given it 4 or 5 stars, but my expectations were higher here! The bill came to $ 180(that includes a $ 10 glass of wine each and a 20% tip). That’s pretty pricey to me for what I got.

I was really hoping to write an awesome review or maybe an excellent one let me FIRST start by saying the service was good the hostess to the waiter were very accommodating. My husband and I spent a beautiful weekend in AC he loves steak so I surprised him and made reservations for our wedding anniversary the hostess spread rose petals and wished us a happy anniversary as she seated us NICETOUCH we thought so far so good. We were promptly attended to an since it was our anniversary we didn’t mind ordering the $ 14 drink I had a mojito which was fair my husband had a godfather which was okay. For that price I expected more alcohol but was disappointed. The crab cake appetizer was absolutely delish. Our dinner the seared scallops green beans with garlic was good the gumbo was okay. My hubby had the 16 oz rib eye was good but not the best he expected more. Our dinner came with desert strawberry shortcake which was good. Also the waiter brought us a slice of chocolate cake with Happy Anniversary which was really thoughtful. When it came to pay there was a problem with my card. Be careful I believe the restaurant credit card company includes a gratuity in the check although it’s not reflected on your bill. Which we wanted to pay separately. Overall this experience the first ever visiting this restaurant gave a bad taste in our mouth which was supposed to be celebratory. Once again the staff is no reflection on my review. However I would not visit this particularly restaurant again maybe another location closer to home in Long Island.

To drink: Manhattan east side. Very good drink the luxardo cherries make it. Chose the 59.99 special which included an appetizer, a side, a steak and a dessert. Appetizer: chicken and tortellini soup. Excellent Side: mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious Steak: 16 oz ribeye medium rare. Cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth delicious Desert: white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry drizzle. So good I ate my girlfriends too! Service: Kelly was great. One of the best servers I’ve had there great personality. Knowledgeable about their menu and drinks. It was our anniversary and they made a happy anniversary drizzle on a plate. Ruth’s Chris never disappoints. We enjoy it way better the old homestead

You can’t go wrong with a four course meal from a well known steakhouse. I have been to several Ruth Chris’s across the U.S. And this was by far my favorite location. The food was perfectly prepared, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating a special occasion.

If it weren’t for for bad service in the lounge area I may of bumped my review up to three stars. We both ordered the six ounce fillet with shrimp, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms while enjoying a bottle of pinot noir. Enjoyed the food and wouldn’t say it was bad, but my fillet was under seasoned and over done to past medium when ordered medium rare. Maybe my expectation was higher for Ruth Chris but I probably won’t be returning. I’m sure the twenty person bachelor party that stood in front of us cussing like sailors thought it was the best steak in their life, but they sure made it unenjoyable for us!(This is coming from someone with a pretty fowl mouth!) bottom line for me was slow service and mediocre steak and potatoes at a high price. Sorry, I’ll just go to another chain steak house if I want a chain steak house steak next to people with no class.

Wanted to go to dinner outside of the casinos here in Atlantic City and decided to look for a place to eat in the area with the help of Open Table. Ruth’s Chris popped up and since I’ve been to the one in New York City a few times I decided to book dinner at 7:30pm. We arrived at Ruth’s Chris at 7:26pm and we checked in our coats. The host sat us down right away and our waitress who was really nice came by to ask us if we wanted to start off with some water and letting us know about the Surf and Turf special they have going on. I like when employees are knowledgeable about the food they are serving. We both went with the 3 course meal for $ 49.95. I got my usual Stuffed Chicken with a side of Creamed Spinach. My boyfriend got the same thing with a side of French Fries. For appetizers, I got the Louisiana Gumbo and He got the Cesar Salad. The Rasberry Cheesecake with Chocolate Almond was delish ! The bill came out to $ 115 along with our sodas that we orderded which she kept refilling as soon as we were done. Exceptional service and Great food. I left satisfied and full. Would definiteltly come back again !

My boyfriend bought me here for my birthday, and if I made more money, I would eat here every day. It was way pricier than expected, but it was so worth it in the end. We each had a steak and split a side of mashed potatoes. Both were perfection. There’s no point of going into detail with the food because it was the BEST I’ve ever had. The staff was most definitely my favorite part of the experience. They were all so friendly and checked on us every few minutes(not in an annoying way). I wasn’t sure what wine to get, and the server told me that if I did not like the wine I picked, she would be happy to swap it out for me at no charge. I’m sure a lot of places do this if you end up complaining, but she automatically put of the offer. This place isn’t interested in racking up your bill(maybe because the bill is going to be high no matter what). Oh no dessert? No problem. let me get your check. No pressure to take dessert home like so many other places. I will definitely go back here when I have the extra money to spend on an AMAZING dinner!

This was my first visit to a Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and they did an excellent job. I will definitely come back. The service was great, the food was cooked perfect, and the ambiance was wonderful. The only thing I would suggest i that the food be brought out a little quicker; we came on a Saturday night and there were a few massive groups that may have delays dour orders coming out. UL would expect a large venue to be able to accommodate. Otherwise, it’s all compliments. The prix fix was very reasonable, and we left with a bill for two people at about $ 100. For that, we got several drinks, two salads, a salmon entrée, 12 ounce rib-eye entrée, and a side of green beans and spinach. All were excellent, and well portioned; leaving us with left overs for lunch the next day. Highly suggest the salmon and the rib-eye.
