We ordered many side dishes taste all were good but this place is very expensive and quantity does not justify this and wait times for serving the dishes is very long. I would request them to justify the high priced items with quantity and service.

I had second time bad experience, owner normally searching targets in the casino area with the offer of 10% discount don’t fall prey to this offer. We tried buffet at sky high price, can’t imagine for buffet we need to pay 20 bucks each also not much options, be ready for heavy bill coming your way . Will not recommend this restaurant to any one, so bad :(

The food here is great, full of flavor and authentic. My husband and I have been here multiple times. We go back for the food not the service. When you walk in and are seated it may take half an hour before someone even comes to take your drink order, not exaggerating here. My husband and I realize this so we wait and it’s fine, but we have watched many people walk out for this reason. Bottom line, great food, sucky service.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. FIRSTOFF, how embarrassing to Donald Trump, if only he knew that this place with his name on it was the filthiest restaurant on the AC Boardwalk. When I tell you, the worst customer service and nooo sense of cleanliness was present, I couldn’t be more on point. I wanted to leave when I first walked into the weirdly lit restaurant and I definitely wanted to leave after I saw a mouse running underneath my table. When I informed management, they blew it off. Either they were used to this or they didn’t care. But who knows if they understood me anyway cause no one seemed to speak English anyway. Nothing royal about this place at all, maybe the royal food poisoning I had the next day but that’s about it.

A group of us dined here one Sunday for lunch. When we stepped into the restaurant there was no hostess to be seen, so we stood at the front, waiting for someone to seat us, but no one came. My friends and I then started walking further into the restaurant looking for anyone who worked there. In the back of the restaurant, it looked like there was a family gathering, so we knew the restaurant was opened for business. We tried to communicate with the cook who was preparing the lunch buffet behind the counter but he didn’t seem to speak English. Finally we see a waitress and got her attention, she told us we could sit wherever we wanted so we did. We started to help ourselves to the buffet when my friend who is vegetarian realized that a chicken dish was misplaced in the vegetarian side of the buffet. The food was not very good, and the chicken was cooked for too long. My friends and I did not think the food tasted as good as authentic Indian food should taste. Nobody refilled our glasses either while we were eating and we had to help ourselves to water from the water pitchers at the hostess station. This place does not have good food for a restaurant within a casino and it’s sadly understaffed. The buffet was about $ 15 per person.

Was good but not that great. Goat rogan was ok ok. Started with Chicken 65, chilli chicken, which tasted good but when we reached center of maindishes it was just rock, no chicken. Chicken Biryani was good of all we order., there service too slow, the waiter expression is looking like not to come again, and also always they through your bill on table, They never keep the bill slowly, I dont think will try ths again,

Royal Alberts is insidiously hidden inside the Taj Mahal hotel casino. After being directed two completely different wrong ways, we figured third time was the charm when a security guard referred us outside and around the building. Taking the brisk walk outside on the boardwalk was nice, albeit freezing, and we quickly noticed this was incorrect. Walking back to our original location, we see the sign in the corner, behind the escalator, like a shining beacon of hope. After finally entering this hidden Palace, we were quickly seated. I gawked at the amount of vegan options already available(without having to order off the menu — but let’s face it, I *am* obnoxious enough to do so.) We ordered the Mushroom Mattar, Pakoras(which I was informed is completely vegan, including the batter!), Peshawari Naan(not vegan, I did not partake), papadam, and the Manchurian Cauliflower. Of all the dishes I did partake in, it is difficult to choose a favorite because everything was equally amazing! If I had a gun to my head, I would go with the Manchurian Cauliflower — but it’s a tough call between that and the Mushroom Mattar. The cauliflower dish had the perfect balance between sweet and spicy, and was /is a great way to open your palate for the feast to come. When you are in the area, I can definitely recommend Royal Albert’s Palace; so cumin and enjoy the wonderful feast!

We just got here after few hours of gambling, and we are tired .so we ordered chill paneer, paneer makhani, and some butter naan, and jeera rice. The food was excellent… the staff was always smiling and friendly… We told them to make the food spicy and it was. Its usually never spicy… so we were taken at back when we actually got spicy food. The chilly paneer dry on the other hand was …(so so) I had better… it felt like they had a hint of barbecue sauce in it… but it was definitely different. I would recommend this restaurant to who ever goes to Taj mahal… A tip… don’t tip the waiter, they had already charged it to my bill

Do not eat here. The décor is pretty but the food is horrible. Everything we received was CLEARLY out of a can or from frozen. I would be completely shocked if they had one fresh vegetable in that kitchen. Also, the place is very dirty. There was a mouse just running around the restaurant. It even came right up to us! The only reason our valentine’s day wasn’t ruined by this place was because we were in stitches over just how dirty it was!

None of the tasted as good as the price they quote for it. I along with a group of friends tried the a-la-carte menu here for lunch and we ordered at least 10 dishes and beverages. And surprisingly not one of them tasted descent enough. My advice, avoid it.

Very Bad food. And on the top bad customer experience it’s better to go to 711 and eat sandwich. And manager is very rude. Before you eat there anything make sure you have doctor number for your teeth. Bad food and rude people and they don’t know how to do business.

Went here for Father’s Day. The food was served fairly quickly and was very good. Be prepared the«Spicy» is really, really SPICY! It is truly authentic Indian dishes served by friendly and very accommodating staff. Everything was very clean, the service was quick and much variety to choose from… again be warned it is spicy s think twice when asked if you want it spicy. I love very spicy food and eat it often however this«spicy» was really there… not for the faint of heart. I was a bit concerned as when we arrived the restaurant was really not very busy but I love my Indian food so I stayed to check it out. I really don’t know why it does not seem to be busy it certainly is worth another visit from my family and I. Yes it was perhaps a bit pricy but everything on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City is out of site and much of it not worth eating at least here the food was good, the service was good and it was fun to people watch on the Boardwalk as we ate our dinner.

Me and my friends had a bad experience here. Food here was okay. Except Briyani and Naan all other items were mediocre and nothing special. Worst part was 20% gratuity was added to the receipt for just four of us in separate bills. I have not heard of restaurants adding gratuity for just four. I checked with the waiter and he spoke with the manager. Waiter came back and mentioned to me that manager will take the gratuity form the receipt. Manager came from his office and saw our BYOB beer on the table, and just two of them. He immediately said that additional tip is for BYOB beer? I bet he did not see this first when he charged the tip. He just made it up as soon as he saw the table with bottles. Dont go here, bad food, old décor and bad tactics to add to tip charges

The service was slow, the décor is tacky and the food was horrible tasteless and super pricey. Do not go here and expect authentic Indian food. The food here bland tasteless and is in no way a representation of Indian food.

The food was very good, and the service was excellent I could not believe how good the food was. hands-down this is the best restaurant in Atlantic City and I have tried a lot of restaurants at other casinos In Atlantic city and I must say this food was excellent and the huge servings I truly enjoy this restaurant, clean, fast service and not expenses. You want good food at a cheap price try this place, You will not be disappointed bob

Interesting décor. Pleasant waitress. The owner and manager kept checking in on us to see how everything was. As we know, the quality of the food is paramount in our review. My lamb was cooked to perfection, if not a little pricey for four pieces. The Tandoori chicken… dry. Definitely not impressed with it. I felt they skimped on the dish with the four little chicken legs. I don’t like legs. I like my chicken– like I like my women… Breasts and Thighs Baby! All in all the place is a three, but I’ll give it a four because of the waitress and the bus girl, who seemed to have both taken a real interest in providing a more genuine personal service.

Used to be the only place my group of friends would eat at our weekly trips in Atlantic City. NOMORE. I say no MORE because the bill was $ 400! Granted we were a group but the price was ridiculous. $ 7 for a lassi? $ 30 for one subzi? ridiculous. Will not go there again. Someone please open up another Indian Restaurant at Atlantic City soon, Royal Albert’s is taking advantage of its monopoly. Only reason I have 3 stars is because the food was good and ambiance was great.
