We stumpled upon Mangos and we were pumped for some good Spanish food. Apparently… as stated by the Rolling Stones«you can’t always get what you want.» The service was slow, the place was pretty dead, it was drafty and the décor was not inviting. Luckily they had a really good sampler platter which gained them some points. They just didn’t seem interested in providing quality service. I guess they don’t like tips. Nonetheless when in AC again and craving Spanish food we rolled up to Mangos(not knowing any other decent places) and what to our wondering eyes did appear but a closed Mango resturant and no other Spanish establishments near:(

After checking out of our hotel, we came in here when we saw the sign for all you can eat pancakes. Breakfast is like my favorite meal so we jumped at the opportunity. Upon reading the menu(which is super extensive) we found out this was a dominican Latin American type cuisine place. Everything looked so good but it was too early for me to try anything new, I just wanted pancakes. The menu had no breakfast options despite the ad. After being seated, we weren’t offered drinks nor did anyone help us until we got up and asked for a breakfast menu(which they didn’t have). My friends and I ordered pancakes, eggs, and bacon. After 15 min we were offered drinks and in 20 our food came out. No wonder they were all you can eat because I had a plate full of 6 mini pancakes, the frozen kind you put in the microwave, and two pieces of microwave bacon. I got one condiment cup of syrup, and when I asked for more, I was charged a $ 1 lol. This place may have good Latin American food, I wouldn’t know, but my breakfast was sh! t and the service was the worst.
