Had dinner last night 6.25.2016 on second floor, as usual amazing meal. Our server Casey was outstanding . I had the Halibut, my wife had the soft shells . My only complaint would be the Shrimp cocktail is nowhere as good or large as Docks the sister resturant. The food though was tasty, arrived timely and the service was impeccable. SD

Great food, great history, great service! Will most certainly return on my next trip to AC. Cannot recommend Knife and Fork Inn highly enough. Each course of the meal was better than the last! Great wine and cocktail selection as well. For those visiting AC and staying at the Tropicana it is a short walk(the restuarant also has parking).

* Cramped seating(an old restaurant so this is understandable) * Food mostly eh — soft shell crabs were soaked in way too much butter and there were only 2, so maybe 2 teaspoons of actual crab meat? Lobster spring roll was good though. Other guest had 2.5 lobster which was very good but about 2 lbs less of advertised, which would be fine if it wasn’t close to $ 60 * Drinks — espresso martini delicious, agave syrup margarita terrible. Didn’t have more than a couple sips and waitress didn’t take off the bill. Coffee was good. * Had to ask for bread(bread was good) * Their lot was valet parking — unnecessary because it’s right behind the building and they weren’t very fast. Family member recommended this place so I can see how some enjoy it but I definitely will not be back.

Tonight was our first experience here. Our friends come here often and invited us. We were pleasantly surprised. Great meal! The grilled octopus app was cooked to perfection accompanied by potatoes, Kalamata olives and greens. The lobster spring roll was to die for. Crab corn chowder was sweet and amazing. 8oz filet mignon was succulent as well as the fiddleheads and potatoes. Rack of lamb was delicious as well as the lobster thermador. Crème brûlée slight overburned sugar top but otherwise very good. Banana crème pie — can we talk! Po de crème was ok. Great wine selection. Service was good.

Food was fantastic. Service great. Ambiance makes me feel like I am getting dinner during Boardwalk Empire. If you’re looking for a nice restaurant for a special occasion, look no further.

One of the very few restaurants were I am very satisfied with their seasoning. I usually don’t like a lot of restaurants because the desert is either too sweet or the entrée is too salty. Every restaurant I went for restaurant week tends to put a lot of salt in their dishes. I ordered their bacon strips, corn chowder, salmon, and banana cream pie. Side note: this place has the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life. You won’t regret ordering it. The salmon was not dry and it was soft. Seasoning for the corn chowder was perfect. I absolutely loved the banana cream pie. Even if it wasn’t restaurant week, I would definitely come back.

My friends and I had gone here for restaurant week last week and it was perfect! We had went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the place was. Not only that, but service was impeccable. Our dishes were great, also. I had the crab cake sandwich, which is totally out of the ordinary for me, and yet I loved it. The only thing that wasn’t perfect were the dessert sampler plate, but I am sure the other desserts on the full menu are great. We also found out they have a regular lunch deal every day for $ 15! We loved it so much, all of my friends hope to come back for dinner another night.

Disappointed. Hostess not appropriately dressed in striped sweater and leggings. Noisey and food just«eh». The Bronzino was truly disappointing. Won’t rush back here…

Beautiful place ! Business casual attire or dressier. Menu was diverse. Kobe sliders for an app were great. Soups are huge portions. Three bean was yummy! Chicken malenese was a bug entrée. Two pieces of chicken. Sides are big enough to share. Salads are huge as well! Will def come again. Only thing I don’t recommend is the apple crisp.

This is my favorite place for happy hour in Atlantic City. The menu is half price and the food is exceptional. All of the items in the menu are fresh and prepared to perfection. The staff is so nice and a pleasure to be around. The bar is spacious and surrounded by glass windows. The ambiance is nice and the bar attracts a lively crowd.

Fabulous meal and outstanding service is what you will find at one of AC’s oldest restaurants. Since our usual favorite, Docks Oyster House was closed for renovations, this gave us the perfect opportunity to try their sister establishment, the Knife & Fork. We were seated in the front area terrace nearby the bar. Our waiter Todd could not have been better. He gave us dome guidance on our selections which we were absolutely pleased with. Here goes the line up: Ceasar Salad– very good Crab and corn chowder– tasty Lobster Thermidor — delish, as it is their house specialty. Filet with bleu cheese bechemel– yummy Filet Oscar– excellent! Brussels Sprouts– FABULOUS!(Really, I could have eaten just these and been happy) Beet chips– super thin and fabulous! Everything was spot on and was worth every penny. Just go here and enjoy! Now our only dilemma will be deciding between here and Docks next trip. Who are we kidding, we will probably do both!

This was my third or fourth time to this restaurant and it does not disappoint. Had a very nice 6 selection cheese plate to start along with the amazing bacon. I had the pecan crusted salmon that was outstanding and cooked perfectly. Great meal, good service and great wine list, though very pretty pricey for food and very pricey for wine. A so as long as work is buying I’ll keep coming back.

100+ year-old restaurant. It looks pretty legit inside, too. But what you’re really coming here for is to eat lobster thermidor like Nucky. It is likely that this restaurant served as the inspiration for Nucky in Boardwalk Empire always eating the dish. So how is it? Big chunks of lobster meat with mushrooms and béarnaise sauce? Tres magnifique. It ain’t cheap, but it sure is good. They have a pretty good wine list here and the usual chop house stuff, too. The dessert was good, but not outstanding. You should probably come dressed smartly and ready to shell out some cash. Worth it, though.

Cool place for a sit down dinner for a large group in the area upstairs. We had the whole floor to ourselves(40 people) and they set a few tables for a sit down dinner. The menu had a choice of two options for each meal. I tried the corn chowder soup which was OK, and then the salmon which was delicious. Finally there was a tray of mini desserts, which were all OK. Nice choice vs doing a crazy expensive dinner in one of the casinos!

Per the advice of a friend, I came here on a recent Saturday night and have no regrets. This is a stand out restaurant in AC the screams everything a foodie would want to hear in the area. While I had no reservations, bar seating was first come, first serve, and only led to a 5 minute wait. The bartender was very helpful(albeit busy helping everyone) on our wine selection and service was fairly quick for the amount of people in Fork and Knife Inn. My wine was delicious(unfortunately I don’t remember it) but the lobster spring roll was nothing short of fantastic. Entrees followed, with the seafood risotto & a flank stake. Absolutely no complaints! The risotto was an amazing mix of creamy and flavorful, with the seafood and asparagus making a great appearance and the steak was very tender and well seasoned. For anyone looking for a quality meal in AC, this is a bit out of the way, but well worth it before a night out in the casinos!

This place is a hidden gem. This place is a great seafood restaurant which is located off of the beaten path in AC. The restaurant is charming, quaint and intimate. The staff is always attentive and friendly. The menu provides an array of seafood dishes. I have enjoyed the soft shell crabs, as well as the calamari, lobster spring rolls, and sliders as an appetizer. The pan sauteed flounder and crab cake are phenomenal entrees. The herb potatoes, mashed potatoes, asparagus and sauteed spinach are great accompaniments to any meal. Due to the portion sizes, I have unfortunately never been able to sample the desserts however; they look scrumptious. If you desire to share an intimate dinner with the love of your life, this place is a place to try. I guarantee if you go here, you will fall in love all over again(with food that is :)).

Double date without kids was amazing especially at this restaurant. Such an unique building which really sparked my interest. The food was delicious the service was fabulous. I heard this is one of the best restaurants in AC and I can see why. Here are some of the items we had and we would recommend: Soft shell crab(was a special) Bacon appetizer Mozz tomato salad Caesar salad SHORTRIBS Lobster Thermidor Strawberry shortcake dessert & blueberry tart great ending for a fabulous meal. The French onion soup was good but not spectacular, the filet was okay, sirloin was good too but nothing too special. Shrimp cocktail could of been a little colder in my opinion. Whiskey smash drink was delicious. My hubby and brothers favorite. Delicious!
