Best dining experience we’ve ever had. We went for the 5 course sampler and it was unbelievably amazing. The staff was excellent. They did a great job presenting the food and offering recommendations. Wish we could go back.

Wow, if you’re going to splurge at AC, this is the place to do it. And before you lose all your money at the tables, be sure to get some good food at least so you don’t leave AC completely disappointed… Décor and ambiance, what’d you expect from a classy restaurant. The large overlook towards the beach was beautiful, who knew AC? Service was great, this was also time the first time my table has sought the advice of a sommelier. We all ordered the 5 course $ 75 prix fixe and rather than going wit the wine pairing, the group decided to «have a lot of fun» and pick 4 bottles of wine for the table. The sommelier was very nice in explaining the choices and his recommendations. We had a few vinophiles at the table who had fun conversing with the somme. We were also in a rush to make a show after dinner, the staff was very accommodating and brought out two courses at a time and brought out our wine in a manner to meet our speedy needs. Veerrrry niiiice. And the food… was incredible. — bread to start was WARM, plenty of soft butter to spread — first course: lobster salad – a great start with subtle balanced flavor. plenty of acidity to get your palate going. a lot going on in this dish — second course: seafood risotto – cooked perfectly, thick and creamy with tender seafood — third course: roasted seabass – very light with strong bouillabase sauce. — 4th: short ribs — fall of the bone goodness with flavorful veggies. had the most amazing smoky cooked carrots i’ve had — 5th– dessert chocolate mouse cake and hazelnut/pistachio? ice cream, great finish. Overall: highly recommend the tasting menu, each dish was superb, and they are very accommodating to substitutions. Also, if you’re down to splurge, get some wine and talk to the sommelier, you might even learn something about wine.

we had to come here since Revel is closing and the other times we came we never went here. now I got the spaghetti which was great but my husbands risotto omg. I just kept saying I should have gotten that. it was beyond delicious. also people next to us had the buratta we should have ordered but we weren’t that hungry after lunch earlier. it looked delicious though. anyway just what a nice restaurant. it’s so sad revel is closing otherwise we’d for sure be back.

If you happen to be in AC some time before Revel closes on 9⁄2 and decide that you want to dine at Azure, this is what I want you to do: Order the Seared Scallops. They were incredible. They only give you four and, since I and almost any male human has a bigger appetite than that, I decided to take a very small bite for my first taste and try to make it last. As soon as it hit my palate I told the lady friend, «you need to try this.» It was hands down the best part of the meal. Second best? Their mixed drinks using bourbon as its base. We tried their crab cake and lobster bisque appetizers and I believe one of their fish specials for her entrée, but the Seared Scallops are the way to go. Hell, go get an order each and a drink, and then if you are still hungry, head over to Amada on the main casino floor for the best salad in the world, in my book.

Took my husband to Azure to celebrate his birthday, and we absolutely loved it! Our waiter, Francis, was fantastic! He was very personable — took the time on a busy evening to offer many recommendations, split our lobster bisque into two bowls for sharing, kindly offered to seat us at a table with a view when we were originally seated in the back of the restaurant — just went above and beyond at every opportunity with out even being asked. The food was also delicious. We were there with another couple, and everyone was extremely happy with everything they ordered. We all shared the charcuterie board for an appetizer and each couple got a bowl of the lobster bisque — all of which was very yummy and quite big portions! Then among the four of us we got the veal, lamb, scallops and cod. Each meal was very well presented, large portions(I’m not sure any of us were able to finish our plate) and was so delicious. I had ordered the scallops but stole a bite of the veal and it was melt in your mouth delicious! Finally, for dessert we got a dish that was off the menu, but that I’d highly recommend asking about! I forget the name, but it was vanilla gelato covered with a shot of espresso and a shot of amaretto with salted caramel on the bottom. Also, worth noting is that there’s a great wine list! So happy that we visited Azure on our one night in AC. Revel is closing — so not sure what this will mean for the future of this restaurant, but I highly recommend making this part of your trip to AC if you can!

This is a place you take someone on a special occasion. It is extremely expensive and personally, I don’t think the prices are worth it. The wine list is extensive, but really high end $$$. That said, all of the food was delicious. Oysters were expertly prepared. Cheese/meat sampler was good quality. The whole sol fish was prepared table side, but at $ 63, it simply was not a large enough cut. The seafood risotto was cheesy, well seasoned, and fresh. The«rack» of lamb was amazing! Only two chops, but really some of the best lamb I’ve ever had. Overall, the meal was seamless. The view overlooking the entire boardwalk was pretty sensational. Also, service was 5 stars and our waiter was as fine a server as you will come across. I give the restaurant 4 stars only because I felt the portions didn’t match the prices.

Hubby was a steak person so we dine at American Cut for 3 times before I convinced him to try Azure right across the hall. And Hubby loved the view, loved the atmosphere, U-10 shrimp cocktail, and also his lobster ravioli. And I really enjoy my crab meat cocktail, and the pistachio crust on my lamb chop was so delicious, I’m dying to go back to have it again! One small downside, the lobster bisque was a little bland. Overall, we had a great time and think we’d start to come here more often if Revel keeps operating!

Food was great! I really enjoyed the wine and the cheese meat platter(a special that day). Troffie pasta dish was amazing. Homemade dessert is delicious too! However I had to lower my rating when the check came. My wife’s Dover sole was $ 65…although she enjoyed it, she didn’t enjoy it enough to pay such a crazy price!!!

Driving into the abandoned homes/crack riddled/unsightly AC, I wondered, is there anything good left here? Surprisingly, Azure answered my mystery question. I was staying at Revel for my girl friend’s bachelorette party and I was left in charge to decide where we were going for our fancy dinner. I wanted to stay within the hotel for safety and hygienic reasons and was left with a few options. Unilocal led me here. I called for a reservation for 6. The hostess was sweet and sat us immediately upon arrival. I looked around on the way in and realized I didn’t need the reservation because the restaurant was shockingly empty for a Friday night. Panic ensued. Did I choose wrong? Nope. I guess everyone lost their money in the casino and could only afford the food court/boardwalk food. The waiter was super nice and patient as we couldn’t even decide what to imbibe. For food I ordered the trophie which consisted of lump crab meat and boccatini-like pasta in an olive oil based sauce. Soooooo delicious! I almost ate the whole plate until I looked down and realized I was wearing a crop top and needed to draw the line. Everyone else enjoyed their food from the seafood risotto to lobster ravioli. Then the staff was kind enough to bring out a cake to congratulate my friend of her pending nuptials. All in all, I am happy and surprised to say, Azure was a total jackpot!

This was our first time dining at Azure on a recommendation of a friend. In a nutshell, everything was excellent. Our meal started off with the Lobster salad which was probably the best item of the evening. It was fantastic! Then we had the seared tuna app which was very good and seasoned perfectly. Next, one of our«sides» was a smaller portion of the Parmesan risotto. We each got our own small portion in a metal dish/bowl. It was fantastic; almost as good as the lobster salad. For the main course, I had the Sea Bass which was very good. My wife had the lamb; the lamb may have been a tad over cooked but my wife did mention to the waiter that she didn’t want it undercooked. Still, the flavor and seasoning was spot on! We shared the sorbet for dessert. Also, we were there for our anniversary and they also gave us some cookies too with«Happy Anniversary» written in chocolate on the plate. A nice touch to end the night. As for the service, our waiter, Mark, was excellent. We don’t typically eat at really high end restaurants and there were a few item on the menu that needed explanation. Mark took the time to explain the items without making us feel uncomfortable. All of the other support staff were wonderful and personable.

I came to Revel with my fiancé for a little getaway and decided to eat at Azure instead of American Cut, since we’ve already eaten there and wanted to switch it up. We are SO glad we chose Azure. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn’t too busy but I’m sure you will need a reservation for a Friday or Saturday night. We each ordered a Lobster Bisque. It had a lot of lobster in it, but was more like a soup consistency than a bisque, but it was really really good. I couldn’t decide what to order for my entrée, and was stuck between the Chilean sea bass or the sea scallops. The waiter explained exactly how everything was prepared, and even brought out a small bowl of the sauce that would be in the sea bass dish so I could taste it. I thought that was really nice of him! He was very attentive throughout our meal and was knowledgeable about all the foods. I ended up ordering the sea bass and it was amazingggg! Served over roasted fennel, asparagus and with some shrimp and mussels. The fish itself was perfectly cooked. A light brown on each side and super white and flaky. I forgot to take a picture of it because I ate it too quickly. My fiancé ordered the lobster, which was 2 pounds and he was worried about not finishing it. He is not a big eater, and he wasn’t feeling well, and he didn’t leave anything on his plate. He had a spice butter with it, and I tasted it. It was really, really good. We were too full for dessert but we are definitely coming back to try more!

We had an excellent time at Azure. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, and were seated by the window which provided a spectacular ocean view. Our waiter Louis made suggestions for wine, apps and dinner that proved to be perfect choices for both of us! I enjoyed the atmosphere and setting of this very lovely restaurant, as did my date. I enjoyed the beet salad and salmon entrée, while he had oysters, followed by lobster and steak combo. We were pretty full by the time dessert was served, so we shared the chocolate brownie(with melted chocolate inside) w/ice cream. The chef took the time to write a Birthday message on the plate! Highly recommend this restaurant for a discerning experience. We hope to return again soon! Great menu choices and presentation!

We had the tasting menu with the lobster salad, seafood risotto, Chilean sea bass, rack of lamb, and Guanaja chocolate mousse. It was probably one of the best meals I’ve had this year, especially since we hadn’t been assuming that much — the crunch from the asparagus/haricots verts in the salad was a good contrast to the lobster and surprisingly tasty flavor overall, the sea bass was perfectly cooked and flaky, the risotto was creamy and loaded with seafood. Maybe a couple meh notes were that the rack of lamb was probably like, ½ fat, and maybe a little too salty? Even though it was good, and depending on how you like your dessert, you might like or hate the mousse, as it was perched ontop of what seemed to be a moon pie(but the feuillantine at the bottom was delicious, as was the hazelnut ice cream.) Not a bad choice to come here! Also — the servers were pretty good, and efficient, and on top of that, seem to have a sense of humor! As one of my friends happened to be wearing the exact same shirt that was standard for Azure’s restaurant waiters and he/they kept on joking about it whenever they came around.

From the time you walk in, you know your evening just got better. The restaurant is on the lower level, with a view of the boardwalk, beach and ocean. The reception and bar area are ok… the main space is huge with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows on the right. On the left is the open Kitchen. Seated by the window, with a view of the ocean, we were just relaxed. Our waiter was very attentive, and made some great recommendations. We ordered the Tomato and Burrata salad to share(they were kind enough to bring it out on two plates). For our main courses, my wife ordered the scallops, and i had the halibut. Both were excellent. the scallops were rich and buttery, and cooked perfectly. The halibut was nice, and the sauce with it was amazing. We will have to go there again when we have much more of an appetite… so we can try more things!

I’m pretty impressed with this place for the most part. The place gets pretty busy but that doesn’t prevent them from serving some quality food. My group started off with an order of the Seafood platter. I believe we also got the octopus. The octopus was not the best i’ve had; actually it was probably on the other end of the spectrum. The seafood platter was awesome though. The oysters were fresh and briney, and jumbo lump crabmeat was tender and juicy. The wines per class came in mini carafes that were cute. 2 friends ordered a white wine that tasted very ripe, so they asked for another white wine. The waiter looked a bit shocked as if no one has ever returned wine before, but finally obliged to bring another type of wine. The pinot noir that i had was very light, so it pairs nicely with seafood. For the entrée, i ordered the Seared Scallops. OMG they were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. They weren’t overly salted, and the crust on both sides of the scallop were crisped perfectly. Overall this dish was a winner; i killed it. The scallops were HUGE too. I can’t believe i got full off of scallops but i did. I also tried my friend’s red snapper and it was delicious. I had 2 friends that ordered the Ribeye for 2, which was pretty much a tomahawk chop that they carve table side. OMG it was cooked perfectly medium rare… maybe even closer to rare. I tried a piece and was blown away. Great entrees here.

Azure had a great little atmosphere. Overlooking the water with panoramic views, very pretty. A little to darkly lit for my liking. I was with a party of 14 so we had our own private room which was a great set up. The staff wasn’t particularly impressive but not totally incompetent. The food was very good. I had the charred octopus appetizer over cous cous which was very tasty. For my main course I had the Bronzino which was also very good. They forgot my side order or spinach but other than that I was pleased with my meal. I did try my co– workers tuna tartar app and that was incredible! The scallops main course was kind of gamey. Overall our party was pleased with their meals. Id recommend.

I hear Bobby Darin the second I walked into this place. It is so beautiful inside! Very French. Very elegant, Very Ooh La La! You can appreciate the craftsmanship in all of the details of this new restaurant in The Revel Hotel. The second you sit down and see the roaring ocean at dusk. It seems like paradise? Wait a second. Am I in New Jersey?! We took a quick ride from NYC to see the new Revel Hotel and wanted to have a great meal at Azure. We were seated quickly and ordered the heirloom tomato & burrata salad. It was great starter. Our main course is coming and it made me cry the second it came to the table. The Rib Eye steak for two OMG, this is was a fantastic meal! Who cares if I’m down $ 100 at the tables? This meal was justified. Meat that was cooked so perfectly it made paradise seem. heavenly. LIke I was in a dream state after finishing this meal. Elegant dining overlooking the ocean. I don’t care about losing at the tables anymore. I have a belly fully of beef and I’m happy. In French this meal is called Cote de Boeuf. In Jersey they call it friggin awesome! Forget the other dopey hotels like The Showboat. Come to this hotel, find this restaurant and enjoy elegant dining at the real Jersey Shore.
