If you’re needing a bone marrow transplant do not get stuck here –RUN don’t walk out !!! The delio is that they do very few bone marrow transplants. Go where more transplants are performed annually — check the stats. They may be a good facility for other cancers but NOT stem cell transplants — go to Northside

I’m currently undergoing treatment at Winship and I couldn’t recommend it more! The staff are professional, fun and friendly. It certainly makes chemo and lab tests easier to deal with! :)
My only advice is to bring a book/​magazine/​laptop (they have free wifi) because there can be a tendency tor long waits if they get backed up. I found that the earlier the appointment, the less of a wait you will experience.

My husband is going through chemotherapy at Winship. They have been some of the kindest, most patient people we’ve met. We thank them for making a difficult situation bearable, we can’t say enough about the wonderful level of care he has received!
