You’re in Atlanta. You’re used to Waffle House. It’s customary here. So of course when a new one pops up we have to go bless it with our presence. However, although you don’t necessarily expect the best of customer service from here, I was still very underwhelmed by the actual experience. Our waitress seemed bothered by us. But, me being a mostly non petty person I gave her a tip. A minimal one. But a tip nonetheless. Score I believe was 100 and its a newer one. So cleanliness isn’t the issue. It’s actually 525,600 steps up from any other WH. Enough steps up for each minute of the year. *insert Rent Melody* Great location. Well unless you drove there. Because parking will likely be more than your meal. Glad to have finally had the experience of coming here but can’t say I’ll be back. Oh what the heck. You know I’m fibbing. If it’s convenient and I’m in the mood for it I’ll be the first one at the door. *cocks head to side*

This was my first time at a waffle house… But ive eaten my fair share of waffles at IHOP& diners. Honestly my expectations werent high… Home fries + cheese DEELISH! Not too overcooked, still potatoey goodness. Pork sausage — SCRUMPTIOUS! Well seasoned & good consistency. Waffle — normally enjoy light fluffy consistency but most restaurants make the batter using water instead of milk. As I understand this is made with sweet cream. So its flatter & more dense but yummy all the same. Service fast & courteous. Affordable for budget conscious Only in the area for a few days but … Very anxious to go back to try the pecan waffle & home fries w chili & cheese #carboverload + more sausage

I must say my fiancé tried to convince me how awesome Waffle House was… and I never believed until we came to this Waffle House next to Centennial Olympic Park. Both times we have eaten here, the food has been fresh, delicious, and our servers very friendly. This is the only Waffle House I like to eat at!

The 5 star review is for our server ANDREA. This girl is on the move. She was responsible for serving counter seating and to-go orders and phone orders AND washing dishes. Thank you ANDREA for putting your all into making our breakfast pleasant on a Sunday morning! As for the manager, I feel like he needs to step up when help is needed instead of yelling«Andrea, pick up» 3 times back to back as she is ringing up a to-go orders.(1 star review for the manager and the way he runs things) CORPNEEDSTOCOACHTHEMANAGER. The cooks… sitting at the counter you definite get the show. These boys get down! Good job guys! The food… with the help of ANDREA, I ordered them covered, chunked, peppered & scattered. DELISH! I ordered the waffle with peanut butter chips and added strawberry jam. It was like a PB&J…yum! And there is pinky(that’s my name for her)…I think her name is Tracy and she is just fun to watch. ANDREA should be recognized for excellence!

Should be called Awful House. It’s really almost impossible to screw up breakfast but this place does. The grits were barely above room temperature. The waffle was sponge-like, limp and served lukewarm.(To match the grits, I guess.) Served with a «butter spread». A «butter spread»??Really, all you do is breakfast and you can’t spring for real butter? A «butter spread»? Disgusting. The raisin toast was bland and tasted artificial. The plain white toast would have been fine if not ruined by the sickly yellow«butter spread». And of course, if you enjoy eating your toast –lukewarm. The eggs were actually hot, a miracle. But they were served with a room temperature slice of ham. You might say, «Well, they must have been busy.» Except there were only 3 of us eating. There were however 15 teenage employees whooping it up; laughing, dancing, talking and cursing really loud. Not exactly a homey atmosphere. I gave one star for the orange juice. It was the only thing cold that should have been cold. What a dump!

On the way to Coca Cola I ended up to go in the Waffle. Old fashioned waffle place for sure. Behind the counter can see many waffle machines waiting to be turned. Sat at the bar, got fast and friendly service. They, meaning the service personals standing & talking each other the whole time I was there, I was worried my waffle might get cold. Two huge and extremely soft waffle I got with super sweet syrup. Was good.

My blueberry waffle was heaven :-) All star special with hashbrowns & onions is the only thing i get here. I had four sausage patties in total, and It was all oh so damn good MAN. I love the way they cook in the waffle houses here in the A, so much flavor. cheese eggs were dripping with cheddar! Coming back sometime, just i don’t know when that might be. Waffle house is spur of the moment food REGARDLESS lol. 5*

Was in town for the game. Before flying home on Monday, my son and I walked down to the Waffle House. As I’m sure is pretty normal at this location, there was a significant wait. The customer service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and helped us with our order. The place was extremely clean. The food was typical Waffle House cuisine. We both got the steak and eggs and double orders of hash browns. The steak was paper thin and had very little taste. BRINGBACKTHECHOPPEDSTEAK dinners. Not sure why Waffle house stopped selling these, but they were a favorite of mine. Won’t order the Sirloin ever again.

Breakfast doesn’t get any better than this!!! I mean it! It was our first time to a Waffle House and it was soooo worth the wait. We waited about 45 minutes but on a late Sunday morning on a game day and we were representing our Redskins! The wait staff was decked out in their Falcons gear and although we were rivals that day, they made us feel like a regular. Unbelievable breakfast food and the service was even better. This place is a well oiled machine and exactly how a restaurant should be managed. We are officially Waffle House fans!!!

Finally got to try the famous Waffle House. I have to say, the waffles were cooked exactly the way I like them. Light and fluffy. I added peanut butter to my waffle, which was a delicious combo. I also ordered hash browns with mushrooms, and that was tasty. My food came quickly and at a very reasonable price. The waitstaff was very friendly and welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. It seemed like they were enjoying themselves, laughing, smiling, and singing along to the music that was playing in the restaurant while they worked. It was a nice environment since I came by myself. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Atlanta.

I’ve been to Georgia about 4 to 5 times. I see these Waffle House all over the place. But I have not been able to dine in one. So this time around, i was determined to go. i know, it’s just Waffle House, nothing special right?! Well, we’ll find out. When i got there, the place was packed. Since I was solo, I got the last seat on the counter, Yes! I ordered the All Star Special. It’s a Waffle, with your choice of meat(Bacon, City Ham or Sausage) I got the bacon. Two eggs, toast and your choice of hash brown or grits, I went with grits. And coffee to round the breakfast out. Waffle House calls themselves the«Home of the Original Sweet Cream Waffle» And they are. That waffle was indeed sweet and you do taste the cream. Delicious!!. The eggs were perfectly cooked sunny side up(extra margerine on the eggs was good too, lol) Bacon was crispy and yum. The grits were good as well. I’m starting to like grits, who would have thought it. The service was super fast. The food came out in less than 5 minutes. The waitress was a character. She was very entertaining. Waffle House gets a bad rep in my opinion. If you want a good solid breakfast, get yourself to WH. It’s just plain good! 2015 Review #130

No frills. No fancy, overly complicated menu & food. Just a solid meal, at a great price. Best WAHO location I’ve been to! Very clean inside. Everyone working the morning shift here has been super friendly. Really quick food service, excellent prices for a great amount of food. I have yet to finish an entire meal from here so, I always have a little snack to enjoy at home. Their sweet tea is really good at this location. My only gripes about is this WAHO: (like a lot of breakfast/diner type places) they don’t offer complimentary refills for hot chocolate, the sausage patties are very dry in consistency, and the music is far too loud in here most of the time.

We were in Atlanta for a large convention, so after the late session I was hungry and found the Waffle House by accident. The serving people were very friendly, nice and efficient. Likable, even, when the place was really swamped with late-night crowds. Ordered a waffle. Waffle was cooked well. But it tasted as if it had been made using a commercially-produced mix. Now, I can’t vouch for how they prepare their batter, maybe it was handmade in house. But it tasted like any waffle you’d get in a Denny’s. Who owns several restaurants in the Atlanta area, all called«Waffle House», but uses either waffle mix OR lets the waffles that leave his kitchen taste like mix? Who does that? Eggs are not hard to add to flour along with milk, butter and some leavening. And finally I was served margarine with my waffle. Real maple syrup would have been too much to hope for, but could have been an option for extra cost. But margarine? Come on.

This was probably the cleanest Waffle House location I’ve been too! A little bigger than most, though not by much. Being in the heart of the downtown/park area and by the Georgia Aquarium & World of Coke, this place was packed on a Sunday morning. I called ahead on my walk from the hotel and had my order ready for pick up by the time I got there, maybe 10 minutes later. There aren’t many breakfast places in this area, so I would definitely recommend this. Sausage, egg & cheese biscuit is where it’s at … make sure you get it on the Jalapeño Cheddar biscuit for a little somethin’ extra! If it would have been feasible to eat a waffle on my walk, I would have gotten one of those, too.

It was my first time eating at a Waffle House. I think it was way too hyped. Food is super greasy but it’s still good. It was easy for me to get tired of it. I got the All star breakfast that comes with 2 eggs, a waffle, sausages, and smothered hash browns(added onions) The hash browns were amazinggggg but everything else was just ordinary. Place was kept pretty clean. Customer service was so horrible that it almost became comical. My friend got tapped by one of the servers since she was in her way and says«Skew me in your in my way» I thought she was playing at first but nope. I think it was just her though because we went another time during our trip and everyone else seemed nice. The location was very convenient next to the Holiday Inn and they are also open 24 – 7!

We went to this particular Waffle House twice in a 3 days during our visit to Atlanta. If you’ve never been to Waffle House the best way to describe it is a fast food breakfast. It’s not healthy, it’s just good old fashioned greasy typed breakfast food and the kind of place you can add a half dozen things to your hash browns if you wanted to. The prices are not high but for a sit down place where you are served, it’s more than reasonable. We had opted to walk to the corner to have breakfast here as opposed to our hotel(this place is walking distance to a lot of hotels in the area) on the way to Olympic Park and all the other attractions around the park(Coke world, Aquarium, CNN) and if you are looking to stay in the area this is a great breakfast spot to just have a quick and cheap breakfast before moving on to the rest of the activities around downtown ATL. The service here was very friendly and it was fast. We didn’t have to have to wait long for a table or to be served mind you it can get busy here as well. If and when we go back to Atlanta I will keep this place in mind. It’s a convenient location with plenty of parking nearby too.
