Pretty solid Italian food with a nice outdoor seating area. Their menu is quite large. Parking may be tricky because it’s right on Peachtree.

This place is OK. I work nearby and get the lunch special every once in awhile. The portions are generous for the price, but the food is nothing special. Also, they serve beer and wine. If you’re in the area and in the mood for Italian, then stop by, but I wouldn’t make a special trip to come here.

This place is great. It is a walk up, order first, have a seat kind of place. It is small, but they have done a nice job fitting lots of seating into the space. My pasta was tasty and the service was good. The food was prepared very quickly, so this made for a quick and efficient lunch. My colleague had a slice of thick pizza and said it was very good.

I suppose that I could be called a regular at Vespucci’s Pizza and Pasta now. From where I work, it’s one of the limited number of easily accessible places to eat within walking distance. So, it was out of convenience’s sake that I first ate there. Now, I go because it’s just plain good. It’s located on Peachtree Street in Midtown. If you work in the area you’ve probably eaten here many times, and if you haven’t, I’d recommend that you do. It has a cozy, little interior that is often packed in and around lunch, and a nice outdoor area that will certainly be pleasant to enjoy one’s lunch hour as the spring and early summer weather rolls around. Youplace your order at the counter and get your own drinks, just as I prefer for casual dining restaurants. Vespucci’s is an essential, no frills pizza and Italian restaurant that serves good food quickly and at a reasonable price. I’ve had a few different items here. The Italian panini, the pizza and the spaghetti. The lasagna, Stromboli and calzones look delicious as well, so I will have to try those out soon, too. The panini was a bit average, but I do enjoy the pizza quite a good bit. The sauce isn’t too sweet, and you can order it by the pie or slice. My favorite is the classic pepperoni but I may try the white next time. The spaghetti is pretty decent too, served with spaghetti and marinara sauce. In short, if you work or are passing through the Midtown area, and if you’re in the mood for some good Italian or pizza, check out Vespucci’s.

Found this place by accident after visiting the High Museum. Glad we did. Good food and good service. Would definitely visit again next time in Atlanta.

Coming from the land of the country’s best pizza(i.e., NYC and NJ), I was pleasantly surprised with the food at Vespucci’s. Granted, I only had a sausage calzone(not on the menu but he was kind enough to make anyway – the standard offering is a sausage stromboli) but the dough was crusty and full flavored and the filling(sausage and cheeses) were excellent. The overly generous coating of garlic meant I would have to keep personal interactions at a minimum – but I love garlic! The salads were passable but obviously not a their target market. I ended up going there because it was the only place open walking distance from my hotel but glad I found it!

Typical pizza joint with the vinyl table cloths and all. Interesting old school wall décor. You can choose slices of whatever is available. Or order a whole pie. They offer lasagna, spaghetti and other Italian specialty dishes. They have a full bar, although I didn’t utilize it. The white pizza with basil and tomatoes was really good. Thin crunchy crust. Service was quick. It’s a solid 4-star spot.

As some listed below, management was indeed very rude. Im not sure if he is a racist or simply has bad customer service but my experience there was unpleasant and uncomfortable. When me and my boyfriend were ready to order, we were barely even acknowledged by the older guy at the front, but he seemed very friendly and eager to help all the other(caucasian) customers. We also came here a previous time with one of our friends(who was white) and he was very nice and talkative to him but when we were ready to order, it seemed as though we were a burden to him. The food was honestly overall good. It came out in a decent time, and was very well cooked. but due to bad customer service, I will not be coming back here.

Had the Chicken Pesto on Chibatta bread… Way more tasty than the subway sandwich shop next door. Food is made to order, but was brought out quickly. The space is kinda divey but that was kinda refreshing in «polished» midtown. Prices were reasonable too … I probably paid $ 2 more than I would have for a similar sandwich, drinks and chips at subway.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Met an old friend for a quick patio-side lunch and snagged some pizza from this place — win. Reminds me of Brooklyn, the inside and the men working there. Solid meat lovers slice along with a Peroni — — count that as a successful lunch meeting.

Wow. I was totally unprepared for how good a little hole-in-the-wall Italian eatery could be here in Atlanta. As a born and bred Chicagoan, these types of joints are a dime a dozen, and any of them could easily give your Italian grandma’s food a run for it’s money. But I’ve never quite experienced that here in the dirty south… that is, until now. Having recent rejoined the corporate world, one of my great daily pleasures is seeking out new food in the vicinity. I checked on Unilocal and saw that Vespucci had a pretty solid rating, so obviously it’s time to try. I am so glad I did. Firstly, the older guy behind the counter called me «sweetheart.» I’m a sucker for that sort of thing. That happens regularly in old school, family owned joints in Chicago — but only after they’ve seen you a couple of times. I’m utterly charmed. I came in and was greeted by an amazing array of slices on offer. I pointed to one and said, «Wow, that looks amazing. I’ll have that and a side Greek salad.» I ended up with a white pizza with chopped tomatoes and spinach. The base was crispy with just enough give, and the toppings were so fresh they deserved a slap. The slice was so big I never even made it to my salad, instead opting to take it home. Ingredients were fresh, crispy and the dressing was clearly homemade. Oh Vespucci… if I had known about you as a Midtown resident, I’d be 100 lbs. heavier. I’ll just have to settle for lunchtime bulking up.

I ate here near our office and I thought it was solid. I though the upfront guy taking my order would have rather been re-lacing his shoes though. Not the friendliness dude but whatever he could have been having a horrible day. I had the meatball sub and it was great. Bread was fresh and they gave a solid portion of meat and sauce. The pizza is NY-style so the Chicago guy in me wants to hate this place but they serve great food. Service could use a bit of work.

Great little pizza place right next to my office. The food is great, from the pizza to the pasta to the salads. The prices are also very reasonable. I only ever went for lunch, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were still open late one evening when I left the office starving. It was then that I found the full bar, as well. Wonderful to have such a convenient place, with quick service, at an affordable price. I prefer Big Apple, a block down, for its salad bar and wider variety of healthy options, but I never turn down Vespucci’s if a coworker is going!

Had to chuckle a little when I read the other reviews… spot on. Definitely recommended. We popped in on a rainy Friday night, pretty much the only ones there save for a few take-out orders that stopped in and out. Just the owner and a cook on staff. But man, what a delicious pizza. It doesn’t hold a candle to Antico(sorry! I had to say it!) but for American Neopolitan pizza it was just fine. Standard Sysco cheese maybe? Hard to tell, which is good. We actually got a white pizza with mushroom, garlic, and olive. The mushrooms were fresh — score! Julie R. said the prices are cheap. I don’t know if I agree with that… 2 beers and a white pizza with 3 toppings came out to $ 36. Maybe they have a good lunch special? Either way, it’s worth checking out. They could use the business.
