Tom Stacy – Self Directed IRA & 401k Lender

BEWARE! Mr. Stacy misrepresents himself and his capabilities. He also kept tens of thousands of dollars that was due me. I will have to sue him to get him to pay, which he will probably never do. Do NOT do business with him!

11÷10÷09 Spare yourself, they did not deliver as promised.
I found Tom Stacy and WA Financial LLC on Linked In in a self directed IRA user group. He claimed to offer 10% — 20% down payment options on a IRA or 401k loan to purchase real estate, and said «get into contract, and we will make it happen.»
Between them not responding to direct questions, not explaining their process clearly, and fighting amongst themselves, we got to 20 days in without basic questions having been answered.
They knew I was at the end of my financing contingency period, and did not respond, did not care.
Oh and buyers, beware. They also requested fees paid in advance, including unspecified «reservation fees» wired to their bank, before clarifying any of the loan terms.
This has been very stressful, since I did want the property. They have earned the first and hopefully only one-​star rating I have given.
