The Paramount At Buckhead

Lived here for about 2 years. Here is the jist.
PROS:
— Location is right in buckhead by the mall. What you’ll learn after being here a while is this is actually where you do NOT want to be since you’re close to the mall, but not within walking distance to the «good» restaurants and bars in buckhead.
— Swimming pool is nice.
— Free coffee in the morning
— Walls are pretty thick, didn’t hear the neighbors.
— Great staff
— Walking to MARTA
— Printer in the lobby
— Building is nice and maintenance is «good».
— Some of the best views in Atlanta if you have the right unit.
CONS:
— Traffic to get in/​out of the building is terrible due to the mall, as stated above, if I could do this over I would’ve lived closer to the St. Regis area.
— Swimming pool gets shaded out at 3pm.
— Gym is too small.
— Noisy being next to marta and the highway (this was my biggest problem).
— High HOA
— Elevators break down too much.
— Always hear fire trucks or police sirens at night.
Demograph of this building is couples about 50ish plus or minus.
Overall the building and people are great. The biggest issue for me was the highway and construction noise at night, the glass windows on the building are paper thin too — I swear it sounds like the window is open at night. Eventually I had to sleep with earplugs in which I’ve never had to do in other high rises I’ve lived in San Francisco or NY. The location is actually not as great as it seems either since there is always a traffic jam with the mall traffic. The noise and traffic kill this place for me, but if you don’t mind that you’ll love this place.
