The Home Depot

Sylvia was very helpful in plumbing this morning. This store is on the come up. It services the film industry and local contractors. Security is improved. Management should give more support to those with good attitude and work ethic. People here work really hard to please for the most part. Self check out is not good in my opinion for relationship building. It sends a sign of disconnect

Kind of a shabby exterior for a Home Depot. Didn’t carry what we were looking for. I guess they used to, but lack of demand caused them to only have it for on-​line ordering. That’s not the problem. But, the people at customer service couldn’t bring up the item, to see where it was stocked, even though I was able to do it on my phone. At my local home depot, they can bring items up on their handheld computer and tell me where the item is in stock. Unfortunately, I wasted a trip going down there. Not their fault, but I at least thought they could help point me in the right direction.

When I’m not shopping, I’m thinking about shopping…
Sunday I head out to Home Depot with the Home Depot expert… My Mom =)
I spent a good 3 hours looking at Refrigerators, Stoves, Mountable Microwaves, Washers and Dryers, Garden Tubs, Doors and Light Fixtures. I was amazed by the LG Microwave with Hydraulics that can open itself with the breathtaking blue interior. I loved the Fridge with the freezer at the bottom, oh and the one with the special little door so you can easily take out a drink without opening the fridge. I loved the black jacuzzi tub, and nearly died when I saw the wood/​glass sliding patio door.
Although the Home Depot seems to be getting more expensive by the second… hence the $ 3000 fridge I stared at for 30 minutes. You can’t help but love them. The customer service was great, I loved sifting through things to find deals and steals. I loved the fact that the store wasn’t crowded.
