Buyer BEWARE! I wanted to write to you and let you know how disappointed and frustrated I am with the inspection of our New Home at 4060 Inverness Crossing in Roswell GA back in November. Most recently we found significant MOLD growth on the majority of our windows. This was hidden by the fact that they are covered by plantation blinds. However, when my wife opened the blinds to do some cleaning we discovered the Mold. We have spent $ 3000 this week to have cleaned and removed from all the windows. Maybe it’s because I’m from up North and my level of expectations are a bit high or maybe Mr. Berger felt rushed or had an off day. But opening up a blind seems like a pretty standard practice an inspector would perform when identifying Windows and their conditioning. My last home I bought and Sold, the inspector spent 6 hours tearing apart every nook and cranny(Only 1500 sqft home). He would NEVER leave a property without addressing these big ticket items. I’m truly amazed as to how a reputable firm like yours neglects to find something this major that was simply behind a closed blind? This did NOT just appear since Nov when we had inspection. My hope is that I’m able to inform everyone I know so that they don’t run into the same issue I am currently going through now. It’s so infuriating to me that this could have been addressed in November where I would have had several options. A) Walked away or B) Had seller pay to fix. Now I’m left flipping the 3K Bill for a Mold problem that should have been addressed 2 months ago! On top of that I’m reading Mr. Berger’s Bio on your website and Mold removal is something he «Specializes» in which makes this very ironic but not in a funny way. I would love to hear back from somebody at your organization to explain to me how something like this gets missed. I have two kids under the age of 3 which is what’s driving me to be so angry right now. I feel MYKIDS were put in danger because of negligence and for that reason I am shaking from anger right now. I would like to think I am a pretty easy going and logical guy. However, when my kids welfare is put in jeopardy for something that could have been prevented, I would hope you could understand where my frustration is coming from.
